My Husband's Ghost

My Husband's Ghost
Chapter 27 The Orange Palace

The car that Heng and Ho drove by slowed down when they reached the ravine in the Hoia Baciu forest.

There is an orange palace located next to the ravine.

"That's an orange palace ! Are we there?", asked Ho.

"I think we've arrived, Ho", said Heng.

"But.", said Ho.

Ho turned his head towards Heng in confusion.

"What !?", said Heng.

"How do we get through this abyss?", asked Ho.

"That's what I'm thinking about right now" Heng said.

"Yes God... Do we have to fly now?", continued Ho lowering his head deeply.

"Fly ? I think that's a very interesting idea, how about we try?", said Heng.

"Blooming our lives, that's what you mean!?", asked Ho.

Ho stared at Heng in disbelief.

"Fly into the abyss, that's what you mean ? What do you think in your head?", continued Ho while hitting Heng's head with his hat.

"I didn't say to fly into the abyss, stupid ! But fly to that orange palace!", said Heng.

Heng pointed towards the orange palace that was next to the ravine.

"Just the same, stupid ! How do we fly?", asked Ho annoyed.

" Okay ! Don't hit me too much ! We'll think of another way, Ho and don't get angry" Heng said.

"That's right" said Ho.

Heng and Ho then sat quietly in the car while looking at the orange palace next to the ravine.

There is no bridge connecting to the orange palace and there is only a steep gorge without a bridge there.

"We should find another way to go to the orange palace, Ho", said Heng.

"Yes, I think that's a good idea" Ho said.

Heng turned the car they were driving in the other direction and looked for the road leading to the orange palace.

The car drove back slowly across the edge of the gorge.

There was still no other way to get to the orange palace next to the ravine they had passed.

"There is still no other way to go to the orange palace" said Heng.

Heng started to get anxious because he did not find any other way that could get to the orange palace.

"How about this, we still don't find any other way?" asked Ho.

"I'm also confused but the task must be completed otherwise we can't go home to Mr. Kwee Lan" Heng said.

"That's what I was thinking too, Ho", said Heng.

The car stopped right on the other side of the ravine, looking as Heng and Ho sat in silence.

"Do we just make a bridge to the orange palace now?" asked Ho.

"Bridge !?", said Heng.

"Yes, long bridge" said Ho.

"Then how do we make a bridge ? You know how?", said Heng while raising his eyebrows.

"We just use the roots of the trees in the forest Hoia Baciu" said Ho.

"That means we have to get out of the car" Heng said.

"No... No. gabe... That's very dangerous, Ho ! And I can't possibly let us get in big trouble, Ho", Heng said.

"But how do we get through that abyss ? Try to think ! Successfully meet Dalca II or go home but the head is gone!?", asked Ho.

"Both are also not the right and correct answers" Heng said.

Heng looked back at the orange palace on the other side of the gorge.

"We just go down to the ravine so we can get to the palace" said Heng.

"T-down !? T-down into the abyss ? And eaten by wild animals?", continued Ho.

"We take the risk because it is impossible to make a bridge in a short time now" Heng said.

"You're kidding me, Heng?", said Ho.

"No ! I'm not kidding right now but I'm telling you the truth, Ho", Heng said.

"Lord... Protect us!", said Ho as he raised his head.

"P-sword ? What's it for?", asked Heng trembling.

"To cut off the flesh of a savage beast", said Heng casually.

Heng grabbed the other sword and got out of the car.

"T--wait, Heng ! I haven't finished my words yet ! Oh my God!", said Ho panicked.

"Come, come out ! We go down, Ho!", said Heng as he turned his head into the car.

Heng ordered Ho to get out of the car immediately and continue their journey without driving a car.

"Come!", Heng orders while hitting on the hood of the car.

Heng hurried away leaving Ho who was still sitting in the car dreamy.

Ho saw Heng step away and started down the ravine.

"God ! Wait, Heng ! Don't leave me, Heng!", Ho said in a panic.

Ho then quickly got out of the car and ran after Heng who had moved down to the ravine first.

"Heng ! Heng ! Wait for me, Heng!", cried Ho loudly.

It was seen Ho running fast hunting Heng who was not seen by Ho.

"Ouch ! He was really desperate to do it" said Ho.

Ho followed Heng who started to descend into the abyss.

He seemed to have difficulty descending the abyss plus he was carrying a sword right now.

"Heng ! Heng ! Wait for me!", cried Ho.

Heng did not answer Ho's shout and continued to move down the abyss regardless of Ho's whereabouts above him.

"Heng!!!", cried Ho again.

One of Ho's legs almost slipped while climbing the ravine and he almost wretched as he went down a very steep ravine.

"Ouch ! Ouch ! These legs can't work together apparently" Ho complained.

Ho held onto the steep ravine area tightly so that he would not fall to the bottom of the abyss.

"Should I continue to pray?" said Ho, glancing downward.

Ho closed his eyes tightly and then took a deep breath and his mouth was careless.

"Death to me ! Die me!", continued Ho.

Ho returned down the ravine, following Heng who was no longer visible.

The ravine they descended was dark and steep and even deep but that was all they had to do.

To get to the orange palace there is only one way that is to pass through the gorge that connects to the orange palace.

"Heng has reached the bottom of the abyss?", Ho whispered.

Ho keeps moving down the ravine.

"Heng ! Heng ! Heng!", cried Ho back.

Ho then saw the light from the direction of the ravine moving towards him.

"Is that the signal Heng showed?" said Ho.

Ho accelerated his movements down the ravine but when his legs he moved suddenly Ho slipped so much that he fell.

There was the sound of Ho screaming as his body fell into the abyss and slid down very quickly.

Ho's body flew sharply towards the bottom of the abyss.

"CRUSH !"

Ho felt his body fall over a very soft and comfortable place.

He did not feel any pain in his body when he fell into the abyss.

"Ehk !? Why don't I feel sick?", said Ho wondering.

Ho felt down his body and he felt his hand touch the soft and smooth cloth.

"What is this?", asked Ho in shock.

Ho turned his head towards the bottom of his body, he saw Heng was under his body and lying still.

"Heng!", cried Ho quickly.

Ho stood up and stared silently with a deathly pale face.

"Heng!", cried Ho back.
