Chapter 26 Heng And Ho

Kwee Lan called her two trusted men to meet her in the study.

Heng and Ho are Kwee Lan's most trusted right foot.

The two ran all the way to Kwee Lan's office near the courtyard.

"In the morning, master Kwee Lan called out to us, does anyone want master Kwee Lan to tell us?", asked Ho.

"I don't understand either but if master Kwee Lan calls us early in the morning like this there must be some important business" Heng said.

"Does it have anything to do with Miss Jia Li?", asked Ho.

"Somehow, I can only guess myself", said Heng.

"We'd better get to Mr. Kwee Lan as soon as possible because he never likes to have his business delayed" Ho said.

"I hope this is good news.., Ho..", said Heng.

"Hopefully.., Heng!", said Ho.

The two men dressed in black shirts with black sincia hats let out a long sigh.

They stopped right in front of the big door and knocked on it three times.

"Lock !"

There was a voice that answered the knock on the door from Heng and Ho.

Heng opened the door and entered Kwee Lan's office followed by Ho behind him.

"Good morning, Mr. Kwee Lan!", said Heng and Ho simultaneously.

"Morning ! Come in Heng.., Ho.!", said Kwee Lan.

"Yes, Mr. Kwee Lan" said Heng and Ho.

Kwee Lan fixed the paper on her desk and stood up from her seat.

He walked closer towards Heng and Ho who were standing facing him.

"I have important business because that's why I called you both here" Kwee Lan said.

"What important business should we do, sir?", asked Ho.

Kwee Lan stood right in front of Heng and Ho while looking at the two with a serious facial expression.

Long enough Kwee Lan looked at the two then she started talking to them.

"I assign you to face Dalca II today" Kwee Lan said.

"Dalca II!?", asked Heng.

"If we may know who Dalca II is, Mr Kwee Lan?", asked Ho.

"You will find out soon after you meet him and pass on my message to him" said Kwee Lan.

Kwee Lan handed a paper roll to Heng and Ho.

"Where should we meet him, master Kwee Lan?", asked Heng.

"In the Valley of Death!", said Kwee Lan.

"What?", said Heng and Ho in unison.

Heng and Ho looked at each other with question mark gazes and clearly saw the horror of the romance of the two faces when they heard the valley of death.

"Death valley, Mr Kwee Lan?" said Ho.

"True, the valley of death located in the forest of Hoia Baciu", said Kwee Lan.

Kwee Lan simply nodded her head quickly to Heng and Ho.

Heng and Ho were shocked and could hardly believe what they heard because Hoia Baciu forest was the most haunted forest in Romania while the valley of death was in a forest that was widely known as a fortress it is used as a paranormal activity and has many strange occurrences.

"Meet Dalca II at her castle located in the valley of death and you will soon find out because it is most strikingly orange" said Kwee Lan.

"M-sorry Mr. Kwee Lan... H-how did we get in there ? While Hoia Baciu forest is famous for being haunted and we have never been there", said Heng.

"That's why I call you two to carry out this task ! And it is you that I feel is right to carry out this task because you are experts!", said Kwee Lan.

"I-iya.., Mr. Kwee Lan.", said Heng and Ho.

Heng and Ho are seen swallowing their saliva while receiving a message from their master named Kwee Lan to go to the valley of death.

The atmosphere of Kwee Lan's working room seemed calm and only the sound of a slow breeze coming from outside the open window was heard.

Heng and Ho are seen leaving in a hurry while driving a car to the valley of death in the forest of Hoia Baciu.

The car drove quickly leaving the courtyard of the large house belonging to the Kwee Lan family.

"Are we going to take our deaths there, Ho?", asked Heng.

"Enough for me to understand one thing in my life, Heng!", said Ho.

"What is it, Ho?", asked Heng.

"We are indeed destined to deliver our lives easily as long as we become a confidant of Mr. Kwee Lan" Ho said.

"Don't say no, Ho ! Optimize ! Because I feel this is a mandate not a command!", said Heng.

"How do we consider it a mandate whereas we know that when we enter the forest Hoia Baciu then we will not go out forever!?", said Ho.

"Trust ! God must always be with us, Ho ! And believe me, we can definitely get out of that forest safely!" said Heng.

"Who was Dalca II really ? And is there no place worthy of her living other than the valley of death?", asked Ho.

Heng was speechless and did not answer Ho's question, he just sped up the speed of the car he was driving towards the forest of Hoia Baciu.

About three hours later...

The car began to enter the forest area of Hoia Baciu and moved slowly because it had to pass through the trees in the forest.

The quiet atmosphere was clearly visible within the famous haunted Hoia Baciu forest.

Heng pressed the car's gas pedal slowly and kept the car's rhythm going slowly.

"We have entered the forest area of Hoia Baciu, Ho", said Heng.

"I don't see the fog, Ho!", said Heng.

"Didn't you see that fog ? Try to take a good look up ahead there, Heng ! I saw a thin fog blocking the view ahead" Ho said.

"For my Lord ! I didn't see it, Ho ! Really ! And I didn't tell you a lie" Heng said.

"When the fog is thick enough though thin and we should get out of the car to make sure it is close, Heng", said Ho.

"Wait for Ho ! Don't be rash ! And don't get out of the car!", prevent Heng quickly when Ho wants to get out of their car.

"Why?", asked Ho flat expressionlessly.

Ho turned his head towards Heng with a questionable look because he did not understand why Heng forbade him to get out of the car.

"We can't get out of the car because before we see the castle we should never get out of this car, Ho", Heng said.

Heng held Ho's hand tightly while looking at him sharply.

"Why Heng?", asked Ho.

"I feel uncomfortable when you say that thin fog while I don't see it, Ho", said Heng.

"Do you think this is an illusionary trap while inside the forest of Hoia Baciu?", asked Ho.

"It's not just an illusionary trap but I feel like it's a game of these forest dwellers and remember we're in the valley of death right now, Ho" Heng said.

Ho was only stunned to hear Heng's words and he could only obey Heng's words that forbade him from getting out of the car.

The two nodded in agreement and agreed not to get out of the car until they found the castle belonging to Dalca II which is in the valley of death in the forest of Hoia Baciu.

The car continues to move into the forest area Hoia Baciu towards the more into the haunted forest area.
