Risma stood up and handed the chair to Leon. Leon sat down and looked at Deren who was still silent staring at the window.

"I'm sorry, because I married her." Leon tried to touch Deren's hand.

Deren was still silent and also did not get rid of Leon's hand that was touching his hand.

"We're just being betrothed" Leon said.

The remark managed to make Deren look at him with a sad look. "Do you love her?" ask Deren.

Leon nodded quickly and looked at Deren's watery eyes.

"Are you going to take her far away and never come back, like Mama?" With tears Deren said that sentence that he had been holding up which made him feel afraid.

Leon shook his head quickly. "I won't take him away from you" Leon explained.

"Promise?" Deren raised his tiny little finger in front of Leon asking Leon to promise him. Leon welcomed the tiny hand and smiled.

"Thank you." Deren immediately hugged Leon's body.

Leon returned the child's embrace, his cry breaking in Leon's arms. She was afraid that Risma would be taken away from her, as her mother's words always remembered in her mind.

"Don't cry, your father loves me more so he picked me up and took me away." That's what Deren's mother said when she left Deren alone.

That is why Deren is now afraid that Leon will take Risma away and not come back again like his mother who went to his father because his love is greater.

Leon let go of his embrace after feeling Deren's cry start to dissect and just a hiccup.

"Now let's eat and take medicine" asked Leon.

Deren simply nodded and accepted Leon's bribe. Risma who saw it was happy because finally her husband had gotten along with Deren, she also had time to shed tears with the words Deren earlier.
