The day keeps changing. Alfred's doctor was very patient in treating Rosita. Until one morning, the woman began to be able to give a positive response. Rosita can eat and drink on her own even though she still does not want to talk. Walter, who had just finished his off-town assignment, came to Rosita's room. The man wanted to know how Rosita was doing today.
Alfred's doctor took a piece of fruit and fed Rosita. "This fruit tastes sour. You should have closed your eyes after eating it, Miss. Don't hold the sour taste in your mouth, because it will make your face look ugly, '" led Dr. Alfred. he deliberately said that so that Rosita would respond with a laugh or a smile. But unfortunately, Rosita still shows no signs of laughing or is holding back laughter.
"Is the fruit not acidic? Or maybe your tongue has a problem?" ask Dr. Alfred again. The man still did not want to give up on making Rosita laugh.
Until one idea came to mind of Doctor Alfred. He would approach Rosita's face because he wanted to test the woman. Would he refuse if Dr. Alfred wanted to kiss her. I don't know why that silly idea came to mind. Without a second thought, Doctor Alfred approached Rosita's face. In the middle of the movement he paused for a moment. Rosita is beautiful. What more if you look at it at such a close distance. Doctor Alfred focused on Rosita's lips. The silly idea that was just a fad has now become serious.
Rosita has not yet responded. The woman just silently looked at him blankly. Until the distance of their lips stopped a few more, doctor Alfred laughed.
"Okay, okay. It didn't work either." Doctor Alfred distanced his face. The man was shocked when he saw Walter standing there. The man clenched his ten fingers. Jaw hardens. Her face flushed. He seemed to be angry at the actions of Doctor Alfred.
"When did you arrive, Walter?" ask Dr. Alfred. He placed the fruit plate that he had been holding on the nightstand. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming home today?"
"What's this way you look after Rosita!" ketus Walter without answering Doctor Alfred's question.
"Like this?" Doctor Alfred got out of bed. "What do you mean? I did everything according to procedure."
"As per the procedure you say? Is kissing a patient one of the procedures?" walter shouted to fill the room.
Doctor Alfred was silent. He himself also did not know why he almost had the desire to kiss Rosita. Fortunately his faith was strong until the bad thing did not happen. I don't know what Walter's gonna do to her if that happens. Even though they have no special relationship. But Doctor Alfred knows that Rosita is a special woman for Walter.
"You misunderstood. I don't really want to kiss her. I just want to see the response. No more" said Dr. Alfred. He still allowed himself even though it was clearly wrong. "Like this. You can see for yourself. He can eat, drink, bathe and even change clothes. But he won't talk. Not responding to the words of others. I don't know how to get him to talk anymore. So I did something like that hoping he would get angry. Maybe even slapped my face. You don't have to be jealous, Walter. I won't be able to take it!"
"Jealous? Maybe I am jealous? But why do I feel the pain of seeing Doctor Alfred want to kiss Rosita?" walter muttered in his heart.
"That's it. From now on you take care of her. I'm not trusted anymore, am I? I'd better back off." Doctor Alfred took his bag lying on the table.
Walter turned his face away while adjusting his breathing to calm down. "I'm sorry. It seems like this is just a misunderstanding."
Doctor Alfred held back his footsteps. The man patted Walter on the shoulder. "I'm not angry. I just don't want any misunderstanding between us. I don't want our family relationship to be ruined because of a woman." Doctor Alfred left after saying that sentence.
Walter looked ahead and approached Rosita. Rosita just kept quiet like a comatose person. The difference is Rosita can move if people are not in a coma.
"Is it true that he's just kidding?" ask Walter. The man pulled up a chair and sat down near the bed. "Why didn't you slap him in the face? You're happy to be kissed by her?"
Rosita suddenly clenched her hand tightly. Walter scrunched his forehead to see Rosita respond. "You're mad at me? Uh?" Walter approached his face. "How about I kiss you. What's you-"
A hard slap landed on Walter's cheek. Walter panicked not playing. It was not that he was happy that he was even more disappointed and jealous. It was just that he was unaware that he had actually completely fallen for the woman.
"You slapped me and didn't slap Doctor Alfred! Do you really want to be kissed by her?" shouting Walter.
"Go from here! You're so noisy!" ketus Rosita's.
Walter leaned back in the chair in shock. "You ... Can you talk?"
"When have I been mute?" ketus Rosita again.
Walter was silent for a moment. He had to make sure that none of this was a dream like the one that had happened before. "Rosita, are you conscious? You're not depressed anymore? You're cured?"
"I'm just lazy to talk. I hate doctor Alfred. That's what kept me from talking to him" Rosita replied. He looked towards Walter. "Then you. Where have you been all this time? Why aren't you here? Why are you asking someone I hate so much to take care of me?"
Walter doesn't know if he should be happy or not when Rosita says he hates Doctor Alfred. However, if it is linked. The main problem comes from Walter. It's not Doctor Alfred's fault.
"It's good that you're conscious. I'm having trouble finding a secretary at the company. You're the only one who meets the criteria" replied Walter just so.
Rosita was silent and daydreaming again. Walter was worried again. He doesn't want Rosita to go back.
"Is there something wrong with my words?"
"Sir, can you release me? I want to live my old life. No longer tied to your office. What happened, let it happen. I am tired of being someone else. I want to be myself. This is not my life. Our way of life and our way of thinking are different. We can't be together even if we're just superiors and subordinates."
The one thing Walter had feared had finally happened. Walter doesn't want Rosita to leave. He wanted her to always be next to him. Anyhow. However, forcing Rosita will only make Rosita depressed. Walter wants Rosita to be around him because he's willing. Not because of what else to be depressed.
"Why? Is this place uncomfortable?"
"Very perfect. To the extent that I feel unworthy to be in this place" Rosita replied. "I'll assume all the trouble never happened. I can forget the wounds from yesterday. Looks like I'll just go up later."
"alright. But, for the next few days. You should stay here. I'll let you go when you're really well. Even today you want to talk, right? I want you to go back to being the Rosita I first met."
"All right" replied Rosita. He turned his face the other way. "I should be able to. I don't want to take much longer to plunge into the lives of those in the dark world" Rosita murmured inwardly.
"What's he really doing?" walter muttered in the heart as well.
