SPC. Chapter 39

Fabio opened his eyes slowly when he felt his cheeks wet.The man scrunched his forehead when he saw Lara crying while grasping her right hand. The woman seemed to not accept seeing Fabio unconscious as he is now. He just kept on babbling and blaming himself. Unaware that her husband had opened his eyes.

"Chubby..," Fabio said in such a soft tone. The man also could not bear to see his wife crying like that.

Lara looked at Fabio. "Sir Bi is awake." Lara immediately hugged him tightly. The woman looked a little calm when she saw that her husband was already able to open his eyes. Walter who was also in the room was also now starting to breathe with relief. And so did Dr. Alfred. The man is now in charge of caring for and curing Fabio until the man regains consciousness. After all, the health of the Cassano family was already his responsibility. No matter how bad he is, he plays an important role in the health of the Cassano family.

"Sister Bi doesn't have to be angry anymore. He was arrested by the police and went to jail. I'm not sure how long he's been in those bars. But at least for now we are safe. We don't have to think about him anymore" Lara replied. The woman hoped her husband could forget Alex Moritz and not discuss the man's name again.

Even though Lara has now managed to forget her memories with Alex. But still every time he heard the name of the man there was a wound in his heart that reopened and made him become hurt.

"Is he in prison in Holland?" asked Fabio to know.

"real Boss. The man named Robert was dead. I made Alex a suspect. Isn't that man no longer able to stand up for Alex? I put all the evidence of the crime in Alex's hands. Alex's punishment was guaranteed to be severe. He is unlikely to be free any time soon, no matter how much money he has. Robert's family was no ordinary person either. Walter was touched to hear Doctor Alfred's reply. The man raised his hand and patted the shoulder of doctor Alfred.

"Bos Fabio doesn't have bad intentions. He just wants you to rest at home. But if you can not afford to go home, you can rest in this mansion. Even living in this mansion as you wish. No one's going to ban you because you're part of the Cassano family, too" Walter replied. All this time the man was not good at persuading. For some reason seeing Alfred's doctor sad like that suddenly his heart was moved and could spit out such words of persuasion.

"What Walter said was right. We have no ill intentions towards you Alfred. We're your family. Your sadness will make us sad too. Vice versa. If you're happy we'll be happy too" said Lara.

"I want to go to the room to rest. Finish medication. Tomorrow we're going to the hospital for a check-up. We also have to make sure that the poison is really no longer in his body" replied Doctor Alfred with an excited face. The man left the room without saying anything more.

"I'm sorry boss" said Walter. The man also wanted to immediately see Rosita's state inside his room. He also did not want to linger in Fabio and Lara's private room.

After the room was quiet, Fabio pulled Lara's hand until the woman sat down next to Fabio. "What's wrong, Bi? Kak Bi is still very powerful," said Lara with blushing cheeks.

"What do you think, baby? I just wanted to ask you something. When in Holland did anyone want to harm you? I got word that someone's been giving you poison."

"I'm doing fine. The Black Dragon took care of me so well" Lara replied.

"Good." Fabio pulled Lara's hand to get the woman closer. "Can you get any closer? I want to kiss my wife."

Lara blushed in embarrassment before shifting in order to get close to Fabio's face. She also missed her husband a lot. Seeing Fabio being able to act like this again made Lara have a new spirit.

"Sister Bi, I love you ...."
