Chapter 35. Grandma's Desire

They stood beside Grandma's bed which was currently closing her eyes. They looked at each other, as no one dared to wake Grandma up. Rita then starts touching her Grandma's hand to wake her up.

"Grandmother, they've come" said Rita quietly in her grandmother's ear.

Grandma immediately opened her eyes and looked towards Mr. Nardi and stopped at Putra. Grandma gestured for Rita to ask the Son to come closer. Rita looked at the Son and asked the Son to approach Grandma.

"Grandmother, this is Son" said Rita slowly.

"Grandmother, my son, his girlfriend Rita," said Putra introduced himself.

"Is that right, you're Rita's boyfriend?" ask Grandma in a weak voice.

"I can't believe it. Because when I asked Rita to prove it, she couldn't" Grandma said.

"Prove what, Grandma. If Rita can't, maybe Putra can prove it to Grandma" said Putra while looking at Rita.

"If you are serious about dating, Grandma wants you to get married" said Grandma who made the Son swallow his saliva.

"Me-married?" asked the son surprised but also happy.

"Grandma thinks you're just pretending to be dating. How big, Rita paid you to be her pretend boyfriend?" ask Grandma a little emotion.

"When you get married, why? Don't we love each other? Or you just pretended to love me. Did you choose we broke up?" ask the son to panic.

"I, who says I don't love you? I can't part with you either. I ...," replied Rita stalled.

"Then we'll get married. Well, we just decide like that" said the Son with a smile.

Rita just kept quiet with her manyun lips. Rita really made can't resist Grandma's wishes.

"Rita, don't worry. Next we will talk after marriage," said Putra as if understanding Rita's worries.

"You haven't told your parents yet. Aren't you afraid, they'll be mad at you?" ask Rita.

"You're right. I'll call them now. You told Grandma, if we're ready to get married. Okay?" pinta Putra was finally confirmed by Rita.

The son immediately contacted his family, while Rita spoke to Grandma to say that she and the son decided to get married.
