Chapter 31. Viral Videos

Rita is still angry with the Son. So this morning, Rita didn't come to Putra's apartment. Rita deliberately did that to make Son know if he was really mad at her. Rita wanted to see if the Son dared to come looking for her or not.

Rita cleaned her own place and went to college as usual. Rita rode a bicycle down the road she used to walk. This road is still the same as it was a few days ago. To the place where, he was once held by an unknown person.

Rita kept pedaling her bike until she reached the campus yard. After parking his bike, he rushed towards the class he was about to take. Just as Samali was walking in front of the door, someone called out to her.

"I've sent you one video and you can see it first" said Mr. Bimo while looking at Rita who was still confused.

Rita rushed to pick up her phone from inside her bag. Saw one video that was just sent by Mr. Bimo. His eyes were wide, looking at the video.

"Have seen? The video has now gone viral on campus since 3 days ago. We had a meeting and decided that, as a lesson for other students, you were suspended for one week" said Mr. Bimo flat.

"But, sir, the video is just a small snippet of the actual event. There must be people who deliberately want to make me trouble on campus," said Rita trying to defend herself.

"We believe the video is genuine. I asked you, did you really do what was in the video?" asked Mr. Bimo while looking at Rita.

"really. It's all true, but it didn't happen that way. I was just defending myself" replied Rita.

"You can't dodge anymore. We have to set an example for other students not to do the same thing you do. We hope that you will not repeat it again, because the punishment will be more severe. You could have taken us out of this campus," said Mr. Bimo firmly.

Inevitably, Rita must receive punishment from the campus for the video that is now going viral. Rita walked past the people who kept seeing her. Rita finally knew the reason they were acting that way.

A two-minute video containing the content of his fight with the law a few days ago. Apparently there are people who deliberately record it and cut the beginning and the end. So all that is seen is when Rita fights with the man.

Rita could not avoid it, because it was all true. Sad to say, just want to go to college again but even get in trouble.

"Rita, how, do you like mr to go viral?" ask Soya when she meets Rita.

Rita is surprised to hear Soya's question. Maybe he recorded it and spread it on campus.

"Soya, what are you doing?" ask Rita.

Soya just laughed at Rita's question. There was a sense of satisfaction implied from the look of his eyes that looked cunning. I want Rita to slap Soya's mouth so she can't laugh anymore. Rita believes that it was Soya's actions after seeing her attitude.

"Soya, you're outrageous. You edited the footage and just showed me the fight. But you know it's not true. I have no problem with you. We are not enemies" said Rita annoyed.

"You forgot, you refused to join our gang. You feel the consequences. Enjoy the punishment" Soya replied and then passed away.

Rita could do nothing. He can't do anything that would get him kicked out of this college. He will accept this punishment, even though he knows there are still things that should get him released from this punishment.

Rita must be able to find the young man and clarify that Rita is only defending herself not an ordinary fight.

Rita took a deep breath and paddled her bike towards her apartment. After arriving at the apartment, Rita sat staring. The problem with the Son is not finished, now there is a new problem. If only he and the Son had not quarreled, today he would have complained to the Son.
