Engagement Event

Geovano's heart skipped a beat as the door opened. I don't know why he felt like Anna was there. And so is Anna. He who was originally lazy to come along, suddenly felt his heart beating fast. He even slowed down his pace and looked around him to make sure if the person he wanted was there. But unfortunately it was just his feeling.

And when the door opened, Anna's entire body shook violently. He was very sure if his Vano was there.

"Sorry we came late" cried Aretha

Geovano who sat back against the door felt familiar with the sound. But he thought it was impossible. Maybe he's wrong.

Unlike Anna who was surprised to see Elyssa there. Her memory goes back to when her mother and Ellyas defended her when she was cornered by questions from reporters. From there she finds out that Elyssa is Vincent's mistress. That meant.....

Anna looked at the man who was still sitting behind her. He slowly approached her and...

This time Geovano felt confident that his hearing was not problematic. He stood up and turned, "Anna!!" ogre

Both Geo and Anna looked confused. They looked at their laughing mother. "Mom!!" shout them at the same time.

"You look so funny if you're confused like that." cried Aretha

"Easy-after. We better sit down. We'll explain." - timpal Elyssa

They sat in the prepared chairs. Neither Anna nor Geo believed what had happened to them. Why were they at the meeting at the dinner? Their parents said that they would be betrothed to their best friend's daughter. What does that mean.....

Inwardly, Geo felt very pleased. And so is Anna.

"So, from the beginning before you knew each other. We made a deal to set you up. But on condition that you do not have a partner." cried Aretha began the conversation

"But at that time, Ai was in a relationship with that jerk. And mommy's planning to cancel this plan. But unexpectedly the jerk showed his dagger. And Ai's even dating her bodyguard."

"It's a good thing Justin and Javier got in the way of mommy trying to hit him." Aretha looked at Geo who was holding a smile and again said, "they tell mommy who Vano really is" he continued

"And do you remember when we defended you in the restaurant?" elyssa asked which was answered nod by the two

"From there mommy just found out that Anna is Aretha's daughter. And vice versa. That's why we feel so happy." continued Elyssa

Anna looked embarrassed. He knows that Elyssa is a fan. But she doesn't know if she's her mommy's best friend.

"We know that your relationship is strained because Geo lied to you, Ann. But believe!! Mommy's son loves you very much. He never had a relationship with any woman. You could say you were the first woman for her." exclaimed Elyssa

"Yes, let's just say we helped you mend your relationship." - timpal Aretha

Both Geo and Anna could only nod their heads and say thank you.

"You refused this match, didn't you. You even have plans to escape. So what if this match......

"Don't!!!!" exclaim Anna and Geo in unison

"Gee... You guys are so compact. Though Daddy just wanted to say if this matchmaking can not be canceled." ledek Jacob who made both of them embarrassed.

"So how? Mommy's choice is good, right?" aretha and Elyssa said at the same time

"Dine mom. I like it." replied Geo

"I can refuse mommy's request." exclaimed Anna

"Bas with you."

"Already, now while waiting for the food to come, you better immediately attach this ring to Anna's ring finger." Elyssa gives Geo a ring. So did Aretha who gave the ring to Anna.

"You should have told me. So I can pick out a ring for Anna myself." grumbled Geo

"choose.. Waiting for you to pick a ring for Anna is like waiting for the rain in the dry season. Quickly put it up!!" pinta Elyssa's

Geovano smiled looking at Anna. She put the ring on Anna's finger. And vice versa.

"Yey... We can finally be besanan." Aretha chirps

"Yes.."

Not long after, their order came. And they continued the event by enjoying the evening meal.
