Why So Like This?
The day before night. Anna prepares to return to her parents' mansion. She put on her face with thin makeup. He also disguised the dark circles in his eyes and put a wide smile on his lips.
"Perfects. You were always beautiful Ai. Surely Vano will regret choosing another woman" he said praising himself. He picked up his branded bag and rushed out of the room.
He had to go to his parents' mansion because his mother had been terrorizing him by calling him continuously to come immediately.
His mother said the show would be tonight. But he was told to come.
Anna let out a long sigh, "Back to old life." she got into the car and drove her own car.
Previously there was always Vano who was ready to take him wherever he wanted to go. Now, he has to do it himself.
"Gosh Ai, wasn't it before Vano came you did it yourself?" muttered monologues. It seems like Vano is very attached to Anna's life. Although their meeting was very short, but he had started to rely on the man.
Anna was driving her car at a moderate speed. He did not realize that behind him was a car following him. He was Geo's man who was ordered to follow wherever Anna went.
And it didn't take long, Anna arrived at her parents' mansion. He got out of the car and rushed in.
The car that followed Anna stopped not far from the mansion. He photographed the mansion and sent it to Geo.
"Miss Anna went to this mansion. What should I do, sir?"
Not waiting long, Geo immediately replied to the message. "That's his family mansion. But even so, keep an eye on Anna."
"Good sir."
Meanwhile, Anna who had entered the mansion looked confused because everything still looked the same. There was no preparation whatsoever for the event her mother said on the phone.
"Finally you came too, Ai." said Aretha
"Mommy lied to me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Mommy said there's a show tonight. But why..." Anna looked here and there was no preparation.
"Oh.. There will be an event tonight. But not here." cried Aretha
"What does mommy mean?" anna asked confusedly
Aretha led Anna to sit down. "There will be an event tonight, but not here. Except at the restaurant. Later tonight we'll have dinner at the restaurant with mommy's best friend. So you have to come. Don't forget the beautiful dress."
Anna frowned confusedly. Why would she have to dress up if it was just dinner?
"Don't think too much. Anyway, tonight you have to look beautiful. And mommy has prepared a dress for you." cried Aretha
Anna just nodded slowly. He immediately went to his room to prepare. Maybe they'll have dinner while discussing the company's work.
"Mom!!!" call Anna who is still standing in the middle of the stairs.
"What else is it, Ai? Hurry up you get ready. We have not much time." cried Aretha
Anna went back down and sat down next to Aretha. "If we were going to have dinner with mommy's best friend, they'd know if I was mommy's son, wouldn't they?"
"That's what mommy's purpose is."
"What does mommy mean?" ask Anna
"Ai, Mommy wants to introduce you to mommy's best friend's son. Take it easy, he's very handsome and well-established."
"WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" yell Anna
"Ish..why are you yelling in front of mommy, huh?" Aretha rubbed her aching ear to hear the shrill voice of the artist.
"Mom, what do you mean mommy's gonna set me up with that guy?" ask Anna to make sure
"Frightly so."
"Mom!!!"
"What's? You refuse? Ai, how old are you now? how many times have you failed to have a romance with a man? You always fail to make a relationship of your own choice. For that, mommy herself will choose your future husband. Mommy is sure mommy's choice won't go wrong." exclaimed Aretha
"Mom!! you can't make big decisions like that alone. This is my life, mom. I have the right to decide my own way of life."
"By being a gossip? Are you happy to be the talk of a lot of people, huh?" sela Aretha. She felt like she was failing to be a mother when she saw the news about her daughter.
Everyone was willing to talk about and judge his daughter. As a mother, she could do nothing.
He knew how Anna felt. The smile on his face was fake. Even when she first saw Anna coming, she knew that her daughter had just cried.
But his daughter always acted as if nothing had happened. He always hid his sadness alone. For that he took this big decision for the sake of his daughter.

"Mommy doesn't accept rejection, Ai. Later you can get to know each other after marriage." cut Anna
"What's? married?" cry Anna. "Mom!! Isn't that too fast?"
"Faster is better. Mommy and Daddy have agreed on this. So now you better be prepared." Aretha left Anna alone.
"Why is it like this? I don't want to be in a match."
