The Woman In The Photo

The surprising dinner is over. I finally found out who the man I was betrothed to was, and he was Mr. Edward. I am so happy that I accept Mr. Edward.

As usual I was up early, after exercising I immediately took a shower and was ready to go to work. Working with my future husband in my prospective-in-law company. It makes me very uncomfortable. Moreover, it must be one office even one room with a prospective husband. I'm not used to it.

“Morning, Dad,” I hugged and kissed my father when he was eating.

“Morning, Honey,” Reply Daddy did the same. “Dad's son is getting more beautiful every day. Reminds Dad of your mother. He was the same with you, too, ” he recalls.

“Dad could have,” sahutku. “That's not a compliment because I received the matchmaking right?” sukamu.

“Haha.. I can't lie in front of you. But remember, whatever your decision Dad will support you, baby,”.

“OK, Ready to Perform Commander,” Father laughed at my behavior that saluted him.

“You continue or not Daddy will always support you. I just want my only son to be happy,” he said again

Mbok Siti has served a breakfast menu that is always appetizing. Dad enjoyed his breakfast so well as I did. After breakfast I rushed to work.

I took the car keys and stepped out into the garage. I met Devan who had just arrived. This time I saw him I felt ordinary. Maybe because I found a replacement.

“Morning, Miss,” said. As usual, she had a very special smile.

“Again,”

“Be careful on the road, Miss,”

“Hmmm..” I passed towards the car.

But the horn sound of the car that just came surprised me. Apparently Mr. Edward is coming. She has started acting as a good husband. Pick me up before I go to work. Tidy us up an office. Huh.

He got out of the car with a suit of matching color. Plus the radiance from the morning sun that hit it made the glare of anyone who saw.

“Morning, Darling,” as he looked at me.

Devan went inside immediately after seeing who had come.

“Good morning too, Mr. Edward,” reply me. He immediately pouted hearing it.

Haha.. So adorable.

“I'll be angry if you call me Master again,” ruknya after being next to me.

“Sorry Sir, what business is it in the morning when I get home?” godaku's.

Arriving at the office.

"I want us not to tell you about our relationship. It will be very uncomfortable for me" I asked after he got out of the car.

Mr. Edward sighed softly.

"Are you ashamed of having a relationship with me?" tanyakanya.

"No. Not at all. It's just that later my coworkers will treat me like never before and it will make me uncomfortable working" I explained.

"Well, if that's what you want. I'll grant it. But on condition,"

Count once anyway, use all conditions...

"What's the condition?"

"Don't call me sir outside of business hours" he asked for the umpteenth time.

That again. That again. But okay...

"OKAY. No problem," I replied lightly.

"Try calling me now!" the door shows a row of white teeth.

"Mr Edward," I cried and again he looked annoyed.

"Yes, I've just announced that you're my future wife" she said.

"Sorry, Sir. Now it has entered working hours because the time has shown at eight past ten minutes in the morning. Our working hours are from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon" I explained, then I rushed out of the car to the elevator.

Haha. Just let him get upset himself.

I work as usual. Fortunately, he did not want to tell my friends. I laughed in my heart every time he didn't come near me but there were employees who came into the room.

During the break I accidentally ate with another employee in the cafeteria. Talking to friends at lunch is fun. I'm pretty familiar with them.

"Have you not eaten in the cafeteria for a long time, Jul?" sapa Sindi is one of my coworkers.

"It just so happens that there are no out-of-office meetings. So you can eat in the cafeteria with you guys" I replied because besides Sindi there are Tina and Haikal.

"His secretary before you hasn't resigned for a week" Haikal added.

"Can we? I think Mr. Edward is good, he is very understanding with his employees" I explained.

"Well from where? He rarely looks like a smile to his employees. He always wanted to be perfect. The last time the marketing manager was fired for misrepresenting the report" Haikal said.

"His face was always sour like vinegar" Sindi added.

"And her fiance was so arrogant," Tina said as if to whip my heart.

A fiancee? Does he have a fiancee? Then why was he being betrothed to me?

I tried to get more information out of them. Even though these eyes are getting hot want to vent sadness.

"Mr Edward has a fiance?" I asked with a little shake.

"Since his return from the Netherlands, there are often beautiful women who come to the office and the woman said that she was his fiancee, Mr. Edward," explained Sindi.

My heart is getting hot to hear it. How could? Could the woman in the photo who was embracing him be friendly?

"I've never met her fiance" I said.

"Yes, I haven't seen him in a long time. It seems like since you worked here her fiance never came again" Sindi added.

"Maybe they've broken up" Haikal exclaimed with a chuckle.

"Thank God that the girl broke up so arrogant" said Tina.

I hope it's true that they broke up. But if the cause of their break-up because of her betrothal to me means I am the cause of their separation.

Hearing Mr. Edward's fiancee's story made me feel no appetite. The story fills me up faster. The spaghetti I ordered was delicious at first to be bland on the tongue.

"I am first. There's still work I haven't done yet" I said.

"Where? The break hours have not been extended. Mah's work is never done, Jul," stop Tina.

"Yes right," Haikal confirmed.

"I have to finish it immediately. Otherwise Mr. Edward would be angry. Daaahhh," I'll leave the canteen immediately.

Arriving in the room I didn't see Edward in his chair. No need to wear sir, I'm upset. Where's she? It's up to him where he's going.

I sat down feeling unsettled. I need to see that picture in my book again. Although it hurts but I have to make sure before I officially become his wife. I have to ask for an explanation of who the woman in the photo is.

With a slow step I walked towards her desk and opened the drawer where I found the photo. It turns out there is still a book and the picture is still tucked in it.

My hands trembled pulling the photo from the book while closing my eyes.

"She's my ex-boyfriend, Tessa" a voice I knew made me open my eyes at once. He pulled and hugged me from behind.

"You wherever I've been starving" he said spoiled as he put his chin on my shoulder.

Epilogue :

"I don't want to break up with you" Tessa said, holding back tears.

"You have betrayed me. I went home to continue my family's company and will never return to the Netherlands" Edward said, citing reasons to end his relationship with Tessa.

Edward knows that Tessa can't live with one man. Thanks to information from his Dutch friend who saw Tessa kissing affectionately at a club, he was very disappointed and tried to forget about Tessa.

Her friend sent her photos of Tessa with the guy at the nightclub and in and out of the hotel with a different guy.

However, Tessa does not want to lose Edward. So Tessa followed him to the land.

"We're over. Go before I act rude!" jakt Edward.

"I can't take it you just decided I was. It was all a lie. I've never betrayed you" defended Tessa.

" I've already betrothed my parents. I can't be with you anymore,"

"stupid? With who? At best with the plain girl from the village,"

"I don't care who I'm being betrothed to. Now you go and don't come back. Continue your lifestyle with those men, "Edward was furious.

"They're just friends nothing more. I never betrayed you" again Tessa defended herself.

Edward picked up the phone and called security.

"Security please drive out the female guest in my room right now" he said.

"Exhaustion" furious Tessa then left Edward's room in anger.
