"Yes, and he said, he already likes someone and is eager to follow him. Daddy's really curious about who makes him want to work hard right now" Clayton said, shaking his head, realizing that his two children are all grown-ups and have taken a liking to someone.

Hearing that immediately made the look of Zavier's face then turned dull.

Zavier is convinced that his sister likes Shella and not the other woman. Because in this lifetime, the pitiful-looking childish man only knew how to play women, not see a woman with a sparkling gaze, as he did when he told Shella.

"What time does daddy go to the airport tomorrow? I'll take you, " said Zavier, trying to shift a subject he didn't like.

"At 1pm" Clayton replied. Then as if remembering something, the man straightened up his body. "I want to ask you something. Why do you want to be a lecturer at daddy's college? Then why did you pay for the entire hospital fee?"

"After all, daddy wouldn't mind if I were a lecturer?" Zavier asked back.

"Hm... No. gabe. It just feels weird to me because you usually turn down other jobs and just want to grow your dark business. Is this all because of that girl?" guess Clayton was on target, making Zavier sigh instantly.

Does his daddy have the ability to read minds?

"Which woman?" zavier asked, as if he still did not understand what his father said.

"You're not good at pretending, Son. I know that she attended my college and the class you taught was her class too. Gosh, just to serve you, daddy had to fire that good old lecturer."

Zavier finally nodded his head in a forced manner when he realized that he could not dodge the words anymore.

His father, Clayton Turner, was a notorious mobster in the dark world. His power, his cruelty, to the heart that had no mercy made everyone frightened and unwilling to do any trouble with him. All of these traits are passed down to Zavier.

However, Clayton's attitude begins to change when he accidentally meets Alicia, Zavier's mommy. From then on, Clayton slowly leaves the dark world and learns to manage the hospital and campus he actually refuses to inherit it for him. The legacy he once denied.

After that, Clayton began developing a company in New York, 'Turner Corporation'. A company that can produce cars and is quite famous all over the world.

"Come, Dad. It was me who was driven to protect that woman. I don't know why, it's just that I have a bad feeling about this" Zavier said, bowing his head.

"Daddy understands. I've experienced it before too. That's a sign you've loved him" Clayton explained and chuckled.

Zavier rolled his eyes lazily. "I don't believe that. Why does daddy always say that?"

"My words are always right. Believe me, I've experienced it when I was with your mommy. It was a great time and I miss your mommy so much now."

It's old but it's still romantic," Zavier's inner voice was upset.

"Yes, yes, yes," replied Zavier lazily.

Clayton just sighed, not knowing what else to say to his stubborn son.

"That's it. I'm going first. There's still some business I haven't done. But by the way, the coffee is good too" Clayton said as he chuckled and began to move away from his place.

Meanwhile, Zavier is just pensive in his place, not even realizing that Clayton has left his study. His eyes kept staring blankly at the coffee cup his father had drunk earlier.

Then, as if remembering something, he took out his phone from his pants pocket and quickly typed a sentence inside.

After sending that short message to someone, Zavier involuntarily let out a frustrated sigh again. Why is she so worried about Shella?
