My Dangerous Boy's

My Dangerous Boy's
Part 20 - Bad Mood's

Zavier tidied his slightly messy tie while stroking his ears that looked increasingly flushed like a boiled crab. Her hair looks ruffled due to the craving from the girl some time ago.

Damn it!

His authority has now disappeared due to a disheveled appearance. He stepped his feet up with a block in the white hallway along with some of his men, to cause the sound of rhythmic footsteps.

Damn it, that woman actually made her pride again crumble before the eyes of her men.

This can't be allowed...

"Sir, what's with your ears?" asked a man who was standing at the side and followed his footsteps. It seemed like that fellow had realized how disheveled the Boss' face had been since exiting the room.

Zavier turned his head, then shot a sharp look towards the man.

Why did his men now become so disrespectful? Wasn't enough of her pride just now dropped?

"You want to die?" ask in a low tone. Zavier stopped walking and squeaked towards his men, making the man a little flinch.

"Ti.no sir, forgive me."

Hearing that, Zavier only snorted in annoyance. He walked back to his room at the corner. Some patients seemed to fill every corner of the hallway, making him have to swallow blocks of annoyance because he really did not like the crowded atmosphere.

This made his mood worse.

It didn't take long, the Bodyguard who was at the door automatically opened the door for Zavier when he saw his boss had returned. They bowed respectfully which only Zavier replied with a face that did not care.

"Your hair looks a mess, sir," said one of the men standing guard at the door. That reflex made Zavier stop at the doorway and turn his head sharply back.

It seemed like today everyone closest to him had become extremely annoying once. Did they all work together to finish him off today?

"What do you mean? If you don't want to work anymore, then tell me so I'll fire you right away at this very second" he said in a cold tone.

For a moment, a puzzled look was plastered on the face of his subordinates, but he was quickly sidelined. The man then looked respectfully. "I don't mean to be so, sir. Sa. I'm sorry."

Zavier just snorted in annoyance. He then walked past his subordinates and stepped into the room. The man sat down on the sofa with a flick of his right hand, telling one of his subordinates to immediately approach towards him.

"Already, Sir. And he's currently in the process inside the police station."

"Good then." Zavier breathed a sigh of relief. But his relief stopped there, because the following words thrown by his subordinates made him straight up the body.

"But sir, there's still one more piece of bad news you don't know."

Zavier then squeaked sharply and fused his eyebrows together. "What?"

"The man we released yesterday was killed and died a few hours ago" he explained carefully.

Zavier glared for a bit, then asked in a cold tone, "how did that happen?"

"According to the police, it looks like the man died from a bullet shot while shopping at one of the supermarkets. I don't know where the shot came from, but for sure the shooter has been very professional in this regard seeing how accurately it penetrates right into his heart."

Hearing that, Zavier involuntarily stomped his nose in frustration. His brain twisted quickly, trying to guess who the real enemy was this time. He closed his eyes for a moment, remembering whatever he might still remember.

For the first time, why did all this feel so strange?

Starting from the man he held captive yesterday tried to burn his entire dark factory, but it did not happen because it was prevented by his subordinates who happened to see the incident. Then he claimed to be a victim who was threatened to do so by force. Later today, not even 24 hours, the man was declared dead in the hands of others.

"Sir." His subordinates spoke again, breaking the silence that had struck the room. "I think it's possible that the shooter was a sniper."

Zavier suddenly raised his face which he had buried under his hand. Yeah, that's right too. Why didn't he think until he got there?

"And in my opinion, sir, it seems that the perpetrator who killed the man was the same person who threatened him. Didn't we?" he said, issuing all the thoughts he had obtained earlier.

"How can you say that?"

"As the man said yesterday, his family will be in danger if he does not carry out his orders, right? And since yesterday he had failed, it was possible that the person had deemed him useless so killed him today. But I'm also not sure of my thoughts, sir," he explained at length which made Zavier think for a moment.

"Yes, maybe you say 50% right and 50% wrong."
