Chapter 18: Attempted assassination of the president

Note: Kim and Jackson speak Chinese.

“Dad said if the bule is a mafia, what if we work together to uncover the mafia. Who knew that bule was one of our fugitives or could be the mastermind behind the mafia in prison?” said Jackson.

Kim raised his eyebrows. He thought for a moment and smiled. This was his chance to find out Louis got to his roots. Louis who is good at shining his tongue even his hands can be clean from the sins he committed.

Jackson opens his suitcase, he pulls out the fugitive mafia files he must get alive to find out who is behind this crime. Kim read it carefully, there are photos of mafia from various countries and their data but now they falsify their data to hide in other countries.

Until he saw a picture of someone he knew.

"Isn't this Mr Chai a politician from Jiangsu province?" kim asked, pointing at the narrow-eyed, bespectacled man in the photo.

"Yups is right, he is no longer in politics after having a scandal with a young girl even though he is married and has children. But now he's a fugitive for proving to be a syndicate selling illegal gunpowder on the black market. He supplies the countries of the middle east secretly or illegally."

Kim then opened the next sheet, a female member was also involved. Kim smiled faintly, it looks like it will be an interesting game after decades of not doing any investigations that risk lives.

"But where's my mother? Don't you lie to me?" ask Jackson.

"Don't I send you a picture of your mother, why don't you go looking for yourself?"

"Well, this bastard is joking. Dad just sent a picture of a birthmark on a woman's stomach. Dad told me to undress every woman who passed in front of me? Goddamnit! Just piss it off" said Jackson staring at Kim.

Kim looked at Jackson in surprise, he couldn't even scold Jackson who always made rude remarks to him. Kim realizes that he is guilty of leaving Jackson in another family he trusts.

Ali came in after returning home from work all day, Kim immediately greeted him. He made milk for Ali. Ali frowned when she saw the newly introduced man sitting with his feet on the table.

"Can you lower your legs?" said Ali.

Jackson who did not understand Ali's speech just looked at him because Ali used his everyday language. The furious Ali immediately lowered Jackson's leg again but Jackson raised it again to the table.

After kicking Jackson in the leg, Jackson stood up and spoke Chinese.

"So your attitude!" said Jackson.

Ali knows his father's language. He also replied in Chinese.

"You're the one who's supposed to keep your attitude!"

Jackson pulled Ali's collar, he was impressed because Ali was so brave.

"This little scoundrel looks a lot like his father" Jackson mocked.

Ali pushed Jackson's hand and walked into his room. He immediately cleaned himself up and decided to go straight to sleep.

Navier clasped his papa's hand tightly. He misses the babbling and nagging of the papa. Mauren stroked Navier's back and told Navier to return to the apartment.

"Why did our family become like this? Brother Dale and Brother Sein went to betray us. Even Papa is sick they don't seem to care" Navier said.

"Navi thinks about the fate of the company alone, Sera's interview has already acted. He collected shares from several people to seize and take over Young Group. For the problems of your two brothers, mama will solve them."

Navier clenched his hand, if only his papa had healed he would have helped him deal with all this. Navier had to fight alone when he was only 2 weeks inducted into the presidency.

"Navi's home, huh? Let mama take care of your papa. You must be tired of taking care of the company all day."

Navier nodded his head, he kissed his mother's cheek and said goodbye. After leaving the hospital, he saw his cell phone.

Navier smiled, he immediately got into his car.

"No, sir. Can you take me home?"

Navier nodded his head, he immediately drove the car to Seline's house. Seline was quite unwell because the master drove her home. Seline glanced at Navier who was sad and looked confused, it was only natural that Navier was sad because the Papa was sick.

"I'm still waiting for you to be my girlfriend" Navier said.

"Can't, sir."

"I'll wait for you until you can accept me."

Suddenly the car he was driving was stopped by several people. Navier immediately braked suddenly and at the same time, his car was beaten and damaged by the man. Seline screamed hysterically, Navier hugged her tightly. Not only that, the car was doused with gasoline. Navier did not stay still, he slipped out through the back door and ran towards the shady and dark trees. Navier's car was set on fire and a few minutes later it exploded. Seline was so shocked that she even hugged Navier tightly.

Goddamnit! Who would dare challenge the Young Group president?

Navier immediately called Ali to come to his location.

On the other hand, Ali who had just taken a bath and had not had time to eat directly following Navier.

"Ali, eat first! I ordered food" Kim said.

"No, dad. Navier's in danger. He was intercepted and his car burned."

Kim was surprised, Jackson who did not understand their words continued eating. Kim stood up, he went with Ali. Kim told Jackson to go to bed. The man just nodded his head.

On the way, Kim recalls his own son why he neglected to let the master drive his own car. Ali explained that Navier asked to drive himself while approaching his car.

On the other hand, Navier was directly hit from behind by a masked person. Seline was hysterical.

"Run! Run Seline!" shouting Navier.

Seline shook her head. He could not bear to let the master be mercilessly beaten. Seline picked up a boulder and threw it right over the masked man's head. As the masked man was about to approach Seline quickly Navier kicked her leg and made the masked man fall over.

Navier approached her and unmasked her, how shocked it would be if it was Daleon.

Navier was so shocked, it turns out that the one who tried to harm him was his own brother.

"Why do you have to be president?" ask Daleon while standing up.

"Isn't it the sister who doesn't want to?"

"The father said it wasn't me" said Daleon.

Navier snorted, he wiped the blood he was licking. He smiled faintly making Daleon even more annoyed.

"Give me 50 percent of what you have!" daleon.

"Sister Dale is crazy? Even Papa and Mama are still alive and you've asked for an inheritance? You think I'm leading this company for myself? As long as you know, I just run without fiddling with every stock that exists."

Daleon grew furious, he pulled Navier's suit collar. The sister with the mouth of her bucket really made her sick. But suddenly Daleon's hand was pulled by Kim. Kim mediates the brother's quarrel.

"Ali, put him in jail for the attempted murder of the president of Young Group and find his friends who have escaped first" Navier said, fixing his coat collar.

Navier then pulled out Seline's shocked hand and got into Ali's car and sat in the back seat. Seline was still in shock over the incident. Only this first time he saw firsthand the attempted murder earlier, a little late they got out of the car so they must have been burned and exploded.

"I'm sorry if you're involved" Navier said.

Seline smiled and nodded her head, Navier approached her and tried to kiss Seline on the lips. Seline's heart was beating so hard that their lips touched. Navier gripped Seline's lips with affection until they forgot if the car owner was being noticed from the wild that is Ali.

"Dad, the boy was even perverted in my holy car" Ali said.
