The Museum Of Modern Art Manhattan New York
Kaia follows Gandari into the room that Abi was in last night and as they are all inside, the mother of two looks at the picture of Yuna Pratomo with teary eyes.
"Oma.." whispered Kaia who was immediately hugged by Rhett because she knew how close Kaia and Yuna used to be. "Geez, Oma is so beautiful Rhett. This seems like a teenage Daddy if you see his age when in the photo."
"Miss Yuna Pratomo served as the director of this museum from year to year" said Gandari.
Kaia smiled. "The 15-year-old Daddy Oma is the director here. How do I not know?"
"Maybe Daddy forgot, Z. It was a long time ago" Rhett replied while kissing Kaia's temple. "Your mom is so pretty."
"It used to be that Opa was still upset between the Oma or his Porsche" Kaia was upset to remember the story of the absurdity of the relationship between Edward and Yuna.
"Let's show you Miss Yuna's work log during her time as director" Gandari took to a room like a meeting room but it contained all the museum directors' catalogs.
"Princess, Oma your great-grandfather is beautiful" Pandu commented.
"Beautiful but her mouth is spicy. Opa just lost the storm with Oma" kekeh Reana remembered the family video as they celebrated Kaia's fifth birthday with Ogan Abi and Necan Dara that there was only chaos as usual.
Kaia and Rhett seem to be engrossed in reading logs and files when Yuna became director as well as some of her work as museum curator. It was as if the Oma was with him now and Kaia was like a teenager again.
"Gandari" call Kaia.
"Yes Mrs O'Grady?"
"May I document Oma's work? Shall I show Papi Duncan? Papi must be happy to see his mommy's work."
"Please ma'am. I'm sure Mr. Blair would have been happy to see Miss Yuna's job."
"Thank you Gandari." Kaia is also engrossed in taking pictures and making video calls with Duncan and Rhea making everyone there choose to step aside, leaving Kaia nostalgic with her parents.
"We go out first, let Mrs O'Grady enjoy the moment" whispered Gandari who answered nods of Abi, Reana and Pandu.
"Mommy, we go out first" Reana said.
"Later you can go out immediately is fine because the door is locked automatically later" Gandari said.
"OK" said Kaia with reddened eyes hold back to see Yuna's work that is still neatly arranged in the log and boxes that read 'Yuna Pratomo'.
The four men came out of the staff-only room and headed for the museum's showroom.
"Is there a cafeteria?" ask Pandu.
"There's Mr. Dewanata. The cafeteria was on the side" answered Gandari.
"We'll wait at the cafe, how's Bi?" ask Pandu.
"You guys go there first, I want to tour the museum with Gandari. Didn't you take me to see the exhibition last night?" Abi looked towards the girl.
"Oh mas Abi so want to look at paintings and other art even though they do not understand?" gandari's smile fascinated Abi.
Abi's unusual attitude made Reana smile thinly. You are already interested in Gandari but do not realize it.
Pandu also sees a different Abi just giving a code to his wife to leave them both.
"Me and Reana to the cafe first huh. You will come later" said Pandu, making Abi and Gandari nod. "Yep, princess." Pandu sighed to his wife who only gave a funny face to Abi which was a code in itself for both.
"So, Mas Abi want to see what? The painting? Sculpture?" tara Gandari's.
"Anything while chatting" asked Abi who sighed at Gandari's back.
The two also headed to the painting room that Abi had commented on with a painting of salted eggs with black dots.
"I don't understand what this means?" show Abi to the painting.
"Though the day is so blue, there must be a black dot that makes us leave a trail. Not all days will always be good or smooth because there must be obstacles either small or large. The painter was about to show this his mind."
"Why is it not like Van Gogh or Basuki Abdullah who more beautifully enjoyed his work. It's like a can of paint tosca diguyur live on a black dot. It's finished! Where's the art trying?" sulcan Abi's.
Gandari laughed. "Mas Abi is really tuna art huh?"
"Something that doesn't make sense, just full of brains!"
Gandari smiled.
"Gandari was the mother of the Kauravas because she was married to the king of Dretarashra and Dretarashra was Pandu's brother" murmured Abi.
"Mas Abi knows the Mahabarata and Ramayana as well?" ask Gandari. "But, if one day I get married, I don't want to have 100 children !"
Abi. "There's a uterus you've broken so much pregnant! Do you know for yourself where the Kaurava came from? Derived from the chunks of meat that came out and by Begawan Abiyasa, the meat was cut into a hundred pieces and then put into a jar that was buried for a new year after being dug there was already a child there. But there are also those who tell me that during childbirth, Gandari kicked the flesh until it was split into a hundred which was then covered with teak leaves or banana leaves I forgot. The next day, the meat has become the forerunner of Kaurawa. See, even our names are both related, Gandari" smiled Abi.
Gandari was surprised how Abi casually told about the same puppet character as his name. The big high man knowledge about puppetry turned out to be amazing because many people did not want to read the story.
"I really like storytelling. I even have a collection of books. Do you know, my great-grandfather Ogan named Abhimanyu Giandra who married Necan Adara Utari. If you look at both the names of the puppet characters and they are a couple in Mahabarata and it happens in the real world. Good thing his son wasn't named Parikesit."
Gandari was astonished to hear the genealogy of the Abi family. And indeed in Mahabarata Abhimanyu married Dewi Utari.
"It turns out that in the real world, Abhimanyu is his match with Dewi Utari. It seems that the Abi mas family is very thick with Japanese culture" commented Gandari.
"We are casing bule, western upbringing mindset, but Javanese upbringing. You know, sometimes my family if you get together even though various nations with physically mixed Caucasians and Asians, sometimes if the conversation is still using Javanese with a strange accent like that" abi rang.
"Mr Dewanata is Java, right?" ask Gandari.
"Yup, Pandu the Javanese. Oma ku, Rhea Blair Jawa Solo and my family are many who live in Jakarta and there in Solo."
Not feeling the two walk up to the Van Gogh painting exhibited last night.
"At least I can capture the atmosphere of the cafe that Van Gogh is about to convey rather than the saltwater painting" said Abi who made Gandari laugh again.
This guy is different.
