“Sorry sir eleven hours later there is a meeting with a client from Singapore, then three in the afternoon there will be a meeting with PT. Eternal Prahaja at Resto Adamich.” Mesya mentioned one by one Radit's schedule today which he had previously rearranged. The handsome man who was busy with his laptop and the pile of files nodded his head without even looking at him.
“Please make me coffee, Sya,” Mesya nodded then resigned.
A few minutes later Mesya returned with a small tray of coffee for Radit. After placing the cup in the middle of a table full of piles of files. Mesya backtracked and resigned to return to his desk. But not yet reached the doorstep Radit's voice stopped his steps.
“Later tonight there is a gak?” event ask Radit to repeat the question.
“Not like Sir, why?”
“Company to my friend's company birthday event, can?” Mesya thought for a moment considering Radit's invitation that could be said suddenly.
“How? I promise it will not be long,” said Radit who then got an answer through a small nod from Mesya.
“Let me pick up at six in the afternoon. Your home is still where it used to be, right?” ask Radit who now omits his formal speech.
“Agreement at the venue only sir, later I meet the Father in front of his hotel,” Radit had objected, sir, but how else he can not force because now the woman is not anyone other than in the business of work. Radit nodded, though with a heavy heart.
Mesya again struggled with his work, as well as Radit who occasionally turned to the front where the room Mesya only blocked the glass wall, watching the beautiful woman who was seriously working. The frown on his forehead made Radit chuckle a little as it looked adorable in Radit's eyes. He did not expect his little girl was now transformed into a very charming adult woman. It was like repeating the gray white period, where they were still in love, but Radit knew that he could not turn back time.
Feeling noticed, Mesya turned his head and found Radit unblinking looking at him, occasionally the man smiled but a few seconds later turned his gaze wrongly when his eyes accidentally collided with Mesya's almond eyes. Shaking his head several times Mesya then returned busy with his work.
Tok .. tok.
“Sorry Sir, there are guests who want to meet with Mr.” Mesya said respectfully.
“Who?” radit asked without raising his head.
“Gue,” says someone behind Mesya. Radit immediately looked up and saw who was coming, the handsome male smile rose and stood up from his seat.
“Long time no see brother,” said Radit as he walked to his guests. Unasked, Mesya left the two men and closed the door again.
Shortly after, the phone on the desk rang. “Sya please make unsweetened coffee for my friend,”
“Good Sir, I'll make it soon.” Mesya put the phone back on after his boss ended. Glance into the room through the glass wall and see Radit who laughs with his new male friend this first time Mesya see then immediately go to the pantry to make a cup of coffee as appropriate in message.
“Bikin coffee for whom Sya?” ask Rena one of Mesya's new friends at work.
“Boss friend,” Mesya replied briefly. Rena nodded as she took another sip of tea in her hand.
“Cowok?” ask Rena again. Mesya nodded then poured hot water into the cup that he had previously entered the coffee grounds.
“Let's rest I wait in the lobby, we ate good today. There's a new steak cafe open up front there.” Mesya pointed his thumb in response, then walked away leaving Rena still at home in the pantry alone.
Mesya first knocked on the door and only entered when there was already a lawyer from the owner of the room. Slowly he placed the coffee cup on the table, then allowed Radit's friend to drink.
“Kalatin, this is Adam Albahkri my friend when in Germany first,” said Radit introduced his friend. Mesya nodded and smiled slightly as he accepted the hand of the man named Adam and mentioned each other's names.
After that Mesya will return to his room, but Radit holds back and asks him to sit down. Mesya initially wanted to refuse but was not happy to remember he was an employee. It feels inappropriate to reject the boss in front of others. But his decision quickly accepted Mesya regretted when his boss's best friend kept staring and occasionally flashed a flirtatious blink that made him uncomfortable. Radit who realized it immediately grabbed Mesya's slender body and pulled the woman to stick to him.
“Mesya this is my boyfriend who at that time I had the same story lo, Dam,” said Radit lightly, turning the gaze of Adam who had been trying to tease Mesya. While Mesya himself turned to the man who was embracing him, his forehead frowning demanding an explanation.
“Ah so this, fast lo ngebet really want to go home to Indo, whereas there already bargained good work.” The two men laughed, while Mesya was only able to force a smile with discomfort.
The conversation continued until half-eleven in the afternoon. Maybe if Mesya does not remind him of his meeting, Radit has certainly forgotten important meetings with his clients. Adam said goodbye and promised to meet at the event tonight. Now Mesya can breathe a sigh of relief, then escape from the embrace of Radit which over time makes Mesya comfortable. Disappointed Raut can capture Mesya from Radit's face, but as much as possible Mesya pretended not to realize. He must remember that now there is a heart that he must take care of.
“For so long si lo,” snorts Rena.
“Yes sorry, I'll nyelesein first work so that later can go home early.” Mesya answered with a reason. Rena's snort took out before finally holding her friend to go to the cafe across the street. They are not both because when he arrived at the cafe Rini and Mona are waiting. They are both receptionists, while Rena herself as secretary manager. Somehow at first until the four of them can be friends like now.
Rena and Mesya sat on empty seats and began to mention their respective orders when a waiters came.
“Sya, handsome boss where to today?” rini asked leaning her face closer to Mesya.
“Tadi went meeting with clients from Singapore,” replied Mesya sober.
“Lo really do not come, instead of the secretary must go wherever his boss goes, yes?” it was Mona's turn to ask.
“Yes, not necessarily too times, Mon. If we are not needed in the meeting, then why follow. After all, not all meetings that the boss attended are important because sometimes they just want to meet to have a small talk even though it is still related to work.” Rena explains. The two men nodded in understanding while Mesya himself played a straw on his drinking glass that had just been delivered.
Before long the food came, the four beautiful women ate with interspersed small talk. The message that was fairly new among them listened more when the four people gossiped. From them Mesya knows the status of Radit who was still single, and from them also Mesya knows that many female employees idolize his boss. Although he worked as a secretary for Radit, he, but Mesya works professionally even though in fact they have known since childhood and even had a relationship not much Mesya knows about the man since four years ago his departure.
Drett .. drett …
The vibration on Mesya's phone on the table stopped the four of them chatting. Mesya quickly grabbed the flat object before his three friends saw who was calling.
“Gue pick up call broke yes,” say goodbye Mesya on all three. Without waiting for approval, Mesya stepped a little away from his friends to pick up the phone from Radit.
“Hallo, what's up Sir?” ask Mesya directly.
“Lo where?” ask Radit from across the street.
“After lunch, why?”
“Bapakin yes, I'm hungry. I'll change the money.”
“Ta—"
Tut …
Mesya clucked as the man across there turned off the connection just like that. Back with an annoyed face made Rini, Rena and Mona frown in wonder. Actually Mesya was not upset because Radit asked him to buy food but because the man who spoke properly to friends, to be honest Mesya was uncomfortable and felt that they were not professional. Mesya just wants the relationship between Radit and himself as a co-worker as a boss and secretary. Not like this kind of friend. Mesya was afraid of getting entangled again and expected the man again, because after all the sense in Mesya's heart was still there for his Didit.
Finished finishing their meal the four of them returned to the office when he saw the lunch hour was about to run out. Not to forget Mesya ordered Steak and French fries as well as coffee for Radit. The three friends asked but Mesya replied that it was all for himself that was not yet full. They did not ask any more and continued on their way, crossing the street to get to the office where he worked.
Mona and Rini arrive at her study room while Rena is out on the tenth floor, only Mesya who is still in the elevator alone because her work space is on the fifteenth floor, the highest floor and only filled with the CEO's room adjacent to the room, then three meeting rooms with different sizes.
Two times Mesya knocked on the door until finally the person inside allowed him to enter. The first thing Mesya saw was Radit lying on a long sofa in the middle of the room.
“This is the food pack,” said Mesya put the parcel in his hand on the table. Radit opened his eyes, then changed his position to sit down.
“Then again both of them speak normally I don't need to be formal.” Pinta Radit looked at Mesya's beautiful face.
“Sorry sir I can not, I just want to work with professionals,” reject Mesya still formally. Grunts were heard from Radit's mouth that he did not care about.
“Why the hell, I guess you're dodging me? I just ask to be ordinary if again the two, behave like friends, what's wrong?”
“Gue knows our relationship has long ended, we haven't met for a long time, but what's wrong if now we are back friends? Honestly, I'm not comfortable with you always avoiding me. We from childhood know, Sya even close. But why now it feels so far like this, you seem like you don't know me!” radit continued in frustration.
“Gue only wants professional work, Dit. As you said our relationship has ended a long time ago, we have not met that long, even to argue no matter what we have not done for four years. So, what's wrong if we act like two people who just met? Here are my bosses and I'm just your secretary. What's wrong if we apply as the boss and subordinates should?”
Heavy breathing also tired Radit let out, staring in disbelief at the woman in front of him. Radit of course objected to what Mesya said. He doesn't want to behave like that. Although he had just returned to the meeting, the feelings he had were not that alien. It still felt the same and the pounding in his heart never changed every time they were close together.
