Chapter 38

Aditya stood on the balcony of his room overlooking the front yard of the house.

The man looked at the watch in his hand, the clock was already showing at 6 p.m. It meant that for almost 1 hour he was standing on the balcony, staring at the towering gate, waiting for a new lexus RX 350 driver to return home after a long day of part-time group work at his friend's apartment.

Not long after, security came out of the guard post and opened the towering gate. Daei in the distance, Aditya stared at a luxurious car that was starting to enter the courtyard of the house.

The expression on his face instantly changed, both of his eyebrows swooping sharply. He got out of the balcony and out of his room.

Meanwhile, Elijah gets out of his car after parking him in the garage. He hurriedly entered the house so that he could immediately take a shower, refreshing his body that had been sweating after a day outside and had been stuck in traffic for almost 1 hour. There were successive accidents on the highway that caused severe congestion.

"Where have you been.?" The baritone voice of the older brother stopped Elijah's freshly finished steps up the stairs.

Elijah carved a smile, his attitude towards Aditya is still the same as before despite being aware lately many changes in Aditya. The change that made Elijah feel that Aditya was like everyone else, the man was unlike his older brother who used to always be gentle and pamper him.

Elijah feels like a fool who knows nothing about Aditya's changing attitude towards him. He often asked himself what he had done wrong to Aditya. But Elijah did not find the answer because he felt he had never done anything wrong. Suddenly Aditya changed his attitude, and not infrequently avoided him.

"From Viona's apartment." Elijah answered casually, though his sister's eyes were slightly sharp.

"I'm going to the room first, sister, I'm going to take a shower." Pamit Elijah, in addition to reluctant to linger seeing the eyes of Aditya who seemed to be suspecting him, Elijah did want to rush a bath because his body was getting sweaty.

There was no answer from Aditya, the man was even more intensely staring at Elijah's body from top to bottom, no matter what he was looking for.

Seeing Aditya's increasingly strange demeanor, Elijah hurriedly walked into his room.

Seeing Elijah enter the room and closing the door hurriedly, Aditya's eyes grew even sharper. He went, not to his room or to another, but followed Elijah into his sister's room.

I don't know what thoughts popped into Aditya's head until he wanted to catch up with Elijah and make sure his sister didn't leave or come into contact with the man out there.

Because since Davina gave freedom to Elijah 2 months ago, Elijah often went and went home in the afternoon. Although he claimed to only go with his female friends, but Aditya did not believe it just like that. Aditya suspects Elijah already has a lover, but he has no evidence to suspect. Just rely on the prejudice.

I don't know what's on Aditya's mind right now. No Aditya should have slipped into Elijah's room when he knew Elijah was going to take a bath.

Now the man was looking for the whereabouts of Elijah who was definitely in the bathroom. Aditya knocked on the bathroom door without thinking any further. Elijah would be more and more astonished by his attitude.

Hearing the door being knocked, Elijah hurriedly grabbed the kimono towel. He wrapped his innocent body and immediately opened the bathroom door. The woman who had just been stripped naked just pulled her head out from behind the bathroom door.

"Sister, what's up.?" Elijah's forehead is wrinkled. When he met outside the room, Aditya seemed reluctant to talk to him again, but now instead followed him into the room to knock on the bathroom door. How Elijah was not astonished.

"Open the door." Aditya pushed the door slowly, Elijah tried to hold it because it was impossible to let Aditya into the bathroom.

"Don't. What does Adit really want.? We'll talk later after I shower." Elijah held the bathroom door with his body. Suddenly she was terrified of her own sister.

"No need to protest, open the door quickly." Aditya said firmly.

"But I'm just using a towel, Aditya can't come in here." Elijah was worried. Suddenly his mind suddenly messed up, he was afraid Aditya would do nothing to him even though it seemed impossible. There is no way Aditya will do anything to his own sister. So thought Elijah.

"Quick not El.! Don't let me push the door." Aditya's tone sounded firm and did not want to be denied again.

Elijah finally ventured to open the bathroom door wider, but still hid his body behind the door.

Seeing that there was enough gap, Aditya went straight into the bathroom. He closed the door and locked it.

Both of Elijah's eyes widened, his face began to pale because he felt a sign of danger. He shook his head quickly in front of Aditya, gesturing to his brother that what he was doing was not right.

"Sister, don't scare me." Elijah is backing out.

"I just want to make sure your body doesn't touch any man." Aditya directly locked Elijah's body on the wall of the marble-clad bathroom.

"What's not talking.? No man's touched me this whole time." Elijah was honest.

Although it has been given the freedom to have a lover, it does not make Elijah immediately close to the man out there. He also could not carelessly make a man as his lover. Other than Juno, there was no other man that made Elijah feel interested. Unfortunately Elijah knows that Juno already has a lover.

So Elijah is not thinking of having a lover anytime soon. He's heartbroken.

"Then let me make sure of it myself." Aditya. Both hands directly pulled the kimono towel on Elijah's shoulders. Suddenly Elijah reflex covered his chest with both hands.

"Son't be like this." Elijah tried to get rid of Aditya's hands.

"you forgot we used to shower together. Just looking is okay." Aditya lirih said. His tone was not as firm as before, nor was his eyes. Although still sharp, but not at all creepy.

"But still can't, we're adults."

"If Mama and Papa knew, they'd, they'd,,,"

"Sh-itt,,,!" It was Aditya who made Elijah stop his speech. Aditya also directly moved away, then came out of the bathroom without saying anything more.

Elijah let out a sigh of relief after Aditya came out and closed the bathroom door. His heart was beating hard since Aditya threw his towel and threw a strange look at his chest.
