“Nona, there are guests looking for you.” One of the servants came to see Stefa in her bedroom and said that someone looking for her at night was a big question mark for Stefa. It was rude to visit at night, and even this was past dinner. Supposedly, whoever comes in knows the manners.

“Alright, I'll be down. Thank ye. You can go!” take Stefa and the waiter back.

Stefa immediately came down following the departure of the waiter. Stefa was a little curious about the figure of the person who is now visiting tonight. There, in the living room. There was already a figure so familiar in Stefa's eyes, even Stefa was too familiar with the figure of the person.

“Hei?” greet the man when he realizes Stefa has come down the stairs.

“You're coming?” instead of answering, Stefa asked back.

“Uhm, I'm coming. How are you and the baby?” ask the guy again.

Stefa took a sitting position right in front of the man.

“We are fine. Why did you come? Uh, I mean you've been tumben once come up these nights. Is there anything urgent?”

The guy smiled. “No. I just want to see you and also want to know how you guys are doing. Because after all, you and that baby will be my responsibility.”

Stefa just rounded her lips to form the letter “O” without intending to respond to the person's words.

“Revaldo, when will you return to Indonesia?” Stefa tried to change the subject.

“You kicked me out? Or will you come with me to Indonesia if I go back there?”

It turns out that the one who's been meeting at these nights is Revaldo. It is appropriate that the person behaves

I think of the house as my own home. Yes, that man always behaves arbitrarily when it comes to Stefa.

Stefa shook her head while smiling faintly. “No, I won't come with you. So when do you get back to

Indonesia?”

“Not sure. Before I return to Indonesia, I want to determine our wedding date.” Revaldo's words left Stefa speechless. He was really very grateful to Revaldo, but the wedding. The marriage was such an important one for Stefa, and she wanted it to happen once in her lifetime by marrying the man she loved.

While his feelings for Revaldo were so bland. No. gabe. Not completely bland. Revaldo is the perfect man to be a life partner, but not Stefa. If they get married, Stefa believes the marriage will feel bland and hollow because of love that claps one hand only.

Stefa doesn't want to tie Revaldo into a marriage that she might regret later.

            “Umh... Revaldo..”

            “Ya?”

“I'm really grateful to you about the wedding. But, really. I haven't thought about it.” Revaldo has not responded to the implied rejection of Stefa's words. The man was devising his words so that Stefa would marry him.

Revaldo knew full well that Stefa didn't want him. But the baby needs a man who will be called Dad, and take care of them both later. At least Stefa had to think about how the baby was born with a father figure beside her.

“Listen!” Revaldo slightly changed his sitting position.

“Think of your baby, Stefa! He needs a father figure who will take care of him for the rest of his life. And I don't mind being a father to your baby. You know, if I loved you for a long time, it's just that you pretended not to notice. I don't mind if you still can't love me, at least by living together. That love will grow as time goes by.”

Stefa breathed for a moment. “Then, what if the wedding has been going on for a long time, very long. But I still can't love you properly? I don't want our marriage to go on without love as you'd expect. Couldn't you be my baby's uncle later? We don't have to get married, Revaldo.”

Uncle? Is that all Revaldo deserves from Stefa? He just wants Stefa to be his wife and father the baby that's lodged in Stefa's stomach. Is he wrong? If he is wrong, tell me where the fault is? Is it the man named David who deserves to be Stefa's husband and father the baby?

“Don't you want to rethink that? Think of your baby too, Stefa!” revaldo leaned slightly forward.

Stefa shakes. “Sorry, but i’m not sorry. I can't get you involved in this, but thank you. You've been nice to me all this time, I'm glad you've always been there for me. But I can't return your feelings. Sorry!”

Stefa left Revaldo in the living room alone. It was not that Stefa wanted to act rashly or behave disrespectfully to Revaldo. Stefa just doesn't want to give false hope to a man who has a sincere love for her. Doesn't want to make the man a victim of the problems he's currently facing.

Revaldo's words are not wrong. The baby he is carrying does need a father figure, a father figure who will give his own last name to the baby. But it's not Revaldo.

Revaldo was still silently pensive at the thought of every rejection he received from Stefa. Over and over again the man sighed and took a deep breath. No. gabe. She won't give up on Stefa and her baby, but she won't continue to urge Stefa to approve her unofficial proposal.

This should be discussed with a cool head, discussing back with Ken and also Charlote. He cannot act quickly if he wants a good finish for everyone.

Stefa was sitting at one of the empty cafe tables by taking the closest part to the open window. Waiting for someone who some time ago called him who out of nowhere the person could get his personal number. Because her hiding time was already known to many, so Stefa did not hesitate to go out. Although Ken still left some bodyguards for him.

The person who had been waiting for her had just walked through the door with a bell ringing. The figure quickly found the position Stefa was in and immediately walked towards her with a bright, warm smile. It was as if they had known each other for a long time and missed each other.

“Sorry I'm late.” The figure sat in front of Stefa while keeping her small bag.

“No problem, I instead hope you never come here.” Sarkas Stefa and that guy just smiled as usual. To him, facing someone like Stefa was common. But facing mothers who are pregnant do need to be patient and increase the level of patience than usual.

“You've ordered something?” ask the guy for pleasantries.

“Ya.” Answer Stefa briefly. The man called the waiter and began to mention his order.

“You have no problem sitting inside a small cafe like this? I think, soon the world will be horrendous with the news title “Princess Conglomerate The Humble” or other titles “Bloody Princess Royal Noble Entering Cafe Kecil”. That's what you expected?”

The woman chuckled as if what Stefa said was an entertainment worthy of her appreciation.

            “You, not us.” Stefa Sarcas.

The woman nodded. “You've received an application from David?”

Stefa looked at the woman. “Telling truth and honesty, saying regret and apologizing, asking a woman lying on a hospital bed to get married. Is that called a proposal? I didn't know that in this world there was a way to apply like that.”

“Ah, apparently David really needs to learn a lot how to apply for a woman correctly. I'll teach him later.” The woman smiled again.

“So what's your answer about a proposal that can't be called a proposal?” ask again.

“You really want to know what I want to say? You don't mind if your FIANCE proposed to another woman?”

The woman simply shrugged her shoulders indifferently.

“The answer is no. I will not accept applications from anyone. Not from David, and not from any other man proposing to me. Well normally or not the normal type of application. Hear that! I just want you to get out of my life, let me and my baby live together and end up happy without you. Now I can go.” Stefa was getting ready to get out of her chair, but the woman held Stefa.

“I understand how you feel even though I'm not in your position right now. At least you should rethink your own baby's fate. Give David a chance to correct his mistakes to you and your baby!”

Stefa was silent for a moment. Does he really have to accept David completely in his life for the perfect life for his quality baby? Stefa sat down to face the woman.

            “Caitlin?”

            “Hmm.”

“If you were in my position now, what would you do?” Stefa looked directly at Caitlin's eyes that looked calm and so shady. Her eyes were so pretty, the exact same as her face that was so pretty. Perfect. David was supposed to marry Caitlin, the perfect woman.

“If I were you, I would think about my future and my own baby. Everyone who lives has made mistakes, and so have I. But a mistake deserves an apology, even if I can't forgive that person. At least I should give that person a second chance to correct his mistake. Maybe my whole life will continue to remember what it was like to be betrayed and hurt. But by living the rest of my life with the man I love, the man who loves me and my baby will take away the pain and betrayal.”

Stefa is stunned to hear all of Caitlin's thoughts positioning herself as Stefa. Is correct. What Caitlin said was the truth. David deserves a second chance, although Stefa is not sure he will forgive all of David's mistakes easily. At least he has to do the right thing for his quality baby.

“Then, what about you if I receive David?”

Caitlin laughed out loud. No more rule-filled smiles like conglomerate princesses. This time

Caitlin forgot all the rules she always did, even when laughing Caitlin had to obey the rules she had learned and lived.

“You of course know the answer.” Caitlin was again broken.

“Ehmm.” Caitlin cleared her throat to ease the rest of her laughter.

“Of course I don't care if that's what you think. Why would I force you to give David a chance if I would mind.”

“Your family? Royal family?” stefa asked again to convince herself that Caitlin really had no problem with her decision making.

“Take it easy, that's my business. You and David don't have to think about it. David already knows what I should and he should do when this engagement cancellation happens. Just so you know, David is not my type.” As he said that, Caitlin leaned forward and her voice shrank similar to that of a whisper.

            “How? You agree?”

“You're right, Caitlin. David is not your type at all. A woman like you should have gotten a better man. Arrghs. If only I hadn't conceived the son of that damn man, I wouldn't have married him either.” Stefa immediately closed her mouth, realizing that she had spoken harshly and cursed in front of Caitlin.

Caitlin chuckled back. “Let's just relax, sometimes I also curse and say rude secretly. Actually I envy you, I also want to live like any other woman who lives freely. My family limits everything, even for a laugh I have my own rules. That sucks.”

Just this time Stefa saw that there was a conglomerate child let alone royal noble descendants behaving this relaxed. Apparently all the thoughts about Caitlin had been lost. Bad thoughts and feelings of joy are now gone because they see the other side of Caitlin.

            “Caitlin?” call Stefa again.

            “Ya?”

            “Thank you and so sorry.”

“I accept your gratitude because I realized that I am indeed kind and generous.” Stefa rolled her eyeballs hearing Caitlin's high-level stringing.

“But I don't accept your apology, because I should have apologized to you for letting you get hurt with the news of my engagement to David.”

Stefa shook her head. “No, I'm the one apologizing.”

“That's it, if you and I keep throwing apologies. When will I eat my food?!” Stefa could hear it. A few minutes ago the waiter had already served Caitlin's ordered food.

The conversation is over with the two who end up peacefully with a satisfying goal and they agree to establish a relationship as friends. Caitlin ate her food with a sparkling face. For his entire life, Caitlin had never eaten food in such a place. Because her family always had rules, so Caitlin could not do the things she wanted like most women.
