"Prove it and stay here for the duration of your proof" said Vallery flatly taking the final decision without the consent of Willy or Gerald.

"Again or not it's up to you guys that I definitely don't want my daughter to be away from me unattended" Vallery said, then left without saying goodbye to Grace's room because she had to tell Gerald her son.

Willy was just silent unable to prevent the wife if it had come to a conclusion.. rarely will Vallery speak this assertively and he also rarely saw the flat face of the wife for more than 20 years in their marriage ties so far.
