My Arrogant Woman's

My Arrogant Woman's
Defending what is my right

Now Dea and Richie have arrived in Korea. Right now they're at Granny Richie's door.

Dea breathed a long breath. While the husband clasped Dea's hand tightly as if saying that everything would be fine.

They slowly entered the house hand in hand. There was already the grandmother and the other family welcoming them in the living room.

But he was shocked when he also saw Hye Jin who was there. But he did not comment, his focus was on Richie's grandmother looking at him cynically.

Richie immediately hugged Grandma. The man clearly missed Grandma. Because the Grandma who has taken care of it since childhood.

"Grandma, Richie misses Grandma" Richie said.

Grandma stroked her grandson's hair. He looked gently at Richie. Her grandson is now an adult. It felt like just yesterday he was feeding his grandson.

"Grandma misses you too, son. You forgot your grandmother after marriage, Richie. Didn't your wife allow you to visit your grandmother? Once he's done," said Grandma with a cynical look toward Dea.

"But I'm not...."

"My wife never forbade Richie to meet Grandma. It's just that lately Richie's been a little busy. So we haven't been able to visit. Forgive us, Grandma," Richie said softly. He disconnected Dea's speech because he did not want Grandma to dislike the wife more.

"Then you better rest first. You must be tired after a long journey" said Auntie Rebecca.

"All right, Auntie." Richie smiling. Rebecca was his savior. "Grandma, we're going to take a break" Richie said. He immediately grabbed the wife's hand and held her.

While Dea felt so uncomfortable seeing the view of her husband's family who looked at her cynically.

"Richie, it seems like they all don't like me. It was obvious they were staring at me."

"That must be just your feeling, honey. We better rest first. I know you must be very tired" said Richie rubbing Dea's face gently. Richie saw the wife's face looking a little pale.

The night came. It's time for Richie's extended family to have dinner. There is a lot of menu on the dining table. All of them had been seated in their respective seats including Dea and Richie.

"Darling, which one you want, let me get it," Richie told Dea. Anything, just do not shrimp," replied Dea.

Granny stared at them. "Why did you get food for your wife, Richie? It should be the wife who serves the husband, not the husband who serves the wife." said Grandma, Even the others smiled cynically at Dea.

"Let me take my own food, Richie." Dea who realized they were all staring at him cynically, became no longer tasteful for dinner. He also looked towards Hye Jin who seemed to be smiling laughing at him.

Dea looked at Hye Jin full of probing. But he was so hard to guess what was on the girl's mind. Somehow Dea thinks that Hye Jin is happy if Richie's family hates him so much. Hye Jin seemed to be able to hide her character with her sweet face.

Dea tried to continue eating, but she really did not taste anymore. So he decided to go back to his house.

Dea started to stand up and her sitting made everyone look at her.

"Excuse me everyone, I'm full, so I want to go back to the room first." Dea said while bowing her body.

"It's very disrespectful, he thinks who he is. Why should such a girl be a member of this family? Obviously Hye jin deserves more." The other family members speak Korean. No one knows if Dea actually also mastered the language.

Dea thought again. He wants to get the blessing of Richie's grandmother. Dea will prove that she will be able to become the granddaughter of her dream daughter-in-law.

Finally, Dea sat back in her chair. He made his face smile as sweet as possible. Dea will prove that she is the best wife for Richie.

"My husband, I'll get you some food. Which one do you want? What if I feed you," Dea said with a sweet smile, but her tail glanced at Hye Jin who looked dislikeful.

'Whether this is just my feeling or indeed you really want my husband, Hye Jin. If that were true, I would never let you, not even anyone, take my husband away from me. Because I will defend what is rightfully mine'
