Mr. Arga's wife

Mr. Arga's wife
50

After lunch they decided to return to the villa. Almost half a day of playing in the sea water makes their bodies feel sticky. Only happiness accompanied their journey back from the restaurant. Both Retha and Arga felt very happy to spend a lot of time together despite the disturbance from the little boy.

Work at the office makes Arga sometimes become forgetful of time. Being a billionaire at a young age made him a hard worker. Actually Arga sometimes also feel tired with the work that accumulates every day. But how else all the business empire owned by his father has been handed over to Arga since Arga graduated from college.

Stealing free time like this is what Arga can do to avoid the papers that ask for his signature. Even though he knew after this there must have been all sorts of work that he had to complete. It might range from boring meetings to banquets with colleagues.

But since Arga accepted Rethas presence as his wife he has rarely gone to the banquets of colleagues or family events of his business partners. Sometimes he tells Leo his assistant to come but if urgent is forced he must himself come.

Since becoming the wife of young master Arga Retha never once joined or invited by Arga to business events. Arga did deliberately never invite him does not mean Arga does not love him but it's just that Arga avoids various possibilities that might backfire for himself.

Being a famous businessman makes him have to remain vigilant against friends and opponents though. Sometimes we don't know who pretends to be friends or who becomes real friends.

It did not feel the car they were riding had arrived at the villa yard. Arga immediately put his car into the garage. They got out of the car to clean up. Exposure to sunlight and salty sea water make their bodies feel sticky.

"Jerry takes a shower after that sleep, okay?" Ask Retha.

"Okay ma." He answered as he passed into the bathroom in the main room.

Arga chose to go to the kitchen sipping a glass of water first to wet his throat. After that he walked to the pool to sit on the edge of the pool. He took his phone to contact someone.

"Let's not forget to pick up Jerry!" He said sarcastically to someone across the phone.

"Sorry ga later ak-" Not yet had Steffy continue his words Arga had interjected first.

"Pick up Jerry tonight or I'll ruin all your work and Justin's." Without waiting for an answer from across Arga immediately turned off his phone. It's not hard for Arga to make Steffy or Justin lose their jobs.

Arga is not unwilling if Jerry comes with them but they do not have much time left to spend the honeymoon. There was already a lot of work waiting for him in the capital.

"What's wrong?" Tanya Retha walked over with some snacks and juice to accompany their chat. I don't know since when Retha is now a person who likes to eat both snacks and heavy meals.

"There's nothing, I told Steffy and Justin to pick up Jerry."

"Why?"

"Why what?" Asked Arga who did not understand his wife's intentions.

"Why tell Steffy's sister to pick up Jerry they're busy."

Arga was anxious with his wife's innocent behavior. How could he trust Steffy's words just like that.

"Don't be so innocent, they're not here to work, but on vacation just like us." Arga.

"But-right?"

"Honey please understand we soon also have to return to Jakarta if Jerry remains here we do not have much time for both." Arga said a little pleading.

Finally, Retha also realized that their original destination was here for a vacation as well as a honeymoon.

"Hmm okay, oh yeah when are we going back to Jakarta?"

"Two more days may be because my permission is only up to two more days, but if you still want to stay here longer it's okay, I can still work from here."

"Hey you underestimated your husband, huh? I won't go broke even if I live on this island." Arrogant speech.

"It's so arrogant of you, sir." Dengus Retha's.

Arga chuckled, then remembered something.

"Darling can I ask you something?" Ask Arga who seems doubtful.

"Ask while I can answer for sure I will answer."

"But you have to promise, you can't be angry or sad?"

"Yes I promise."

Before Arga began to ask he cleared his throat to neutralize his voice.

"That's the day of our wedding, you came by yourself where is your father?" Ask Arga is curious and also careful because since marriage Arga has never asked about the Rethas family or his life before.

Retha smiled before answering Arga's question. Rethah understands now that they have become husband and wife so must be open to each other.

"My father left me, my mother and my sister, not actually leaving rather to drive us out of the grandfather's house."

Arga observed the look in Retha's eyes many of the burdens seen there.

"I was a kid and my sister was born, and my father kicked us out and brought his new wife home. Ever since then I've never met my father."

"Do you hate your father?" Ask Arga.

"Not really, however the attitude of the father towards us he remains my father without the father maybe at this time I am also not there. And I might not have met you either." He said with a sweet smile.

"Oh my God look at her the tough woman I've met." Inner Arga.

"Have you forgiven her?"

"I don't know, there's a lot of mistakes I've made, especially for my mom. All this time I suffered because of my father. I don't hate it, but I don't know whether to forgive or not."

Before continuing his words Retha took a deep breath. "You know, I used to be against Grandpa for the sake of marrying me. Grandfather from the past did not like father because according to grandfather father is not a good person. But because of mother's blind love for grandfather's father relented following mother's request to marry him."

"What if one day you meet your father?"

"I can't see him anymore, I don't want to see him anymore either. I am happy with my new family. I'm not expecting our presence anymore."

Arga grabbed Rethas body to get into his arms. He knew his wife was holding back tears that were about to come out of her red cheeks.

"Cry if it makes your burden less, tell me don't save your own burden. I'm your husband what you feel I deserve to feel too."

Retha was sobbing in her husband's arms. She was very grateful to God for sending such a reliable husband under any circumstances.
