“Now you want to ask Annisa, are you ready to be proposed by Nak Toriq?” ask Mr. Ernawan.
Annisa turned to Toriq as if Annisa was asking for Toriq's opinion, Toriq replied to her with a smile and a nod of his head.
“Annisa ready, Sir,” Annisa replied.
“Alhamdullilah,” said Mr. Ernawan.
“Anyhow good intentions must be in motion. Moreover, you guys are too often together,” said Mr. Ernawan.
“Nak Toriq, about his wedding plan when?” ask Titien's mother.
“Toriq wants it two weeks from application, Auntie,” Toriq replied.
Annisa was shocked to hear Toriq's reply.
“Abang,” Annisa said.
Toriq looked at Annisa.
“Why Annisa? Shouldn't good intentions be stirred up? If we are often together without the bond of marriage later the fall will be slander,” Toriq said.
“Nak Toriq said Annisa right. Faster is better,” said Mr. Ernawan.
“But, Sir. It is impossible for us, sir. Our finances are not possible,” exclaimed Mother Titien.
Mr. Ernawan sighed. True what his wife said, their finances did not allow to manage the wedding. Even for marriage, they do not have the funds. And they also could not ask the help of his wife's cousin, Elly's mother, they already owe a lot of gratitude to his wife's cousin.
“Tante need not worry, let Toriq bear all the costs,” Toriq said.
“But Nak Toriq has spent a lot of money, especially to pay for Annisa lecture,” said Ms. Titien.
“It's okay Aunt. Toriq wants Aunt and Om not to feel burdened by Toriq and Annisa's wedding, ” Toriq replied.
“Nak Toriq should the cost of marriage be our responsibility as Annisa's parents,” said Mr. Ernawan.
“Toriq to Om. But let Toriq bear all the costs, Om and Aunt stay to tell EO what kind of wedding concept Om and Aunt want,” Toriq said.
Mr. Ernawan and Ms. Titien looked at each other.
“Nak Toriq let for the wedding fee, I took the first time with Mamahnya Annisa,” said Mr. Ernawan.
“Yes, Om it's okay. But later for the application fee Toriq will give to Annisa because the time is up,” replied Toriq.
Mr. Ernawan sighed. He knew that his future son-in-law did not want to burden him as Annisa's parents. But as Annisa's parents she doesn't want to look weak in front of her future son-in-law. He still has his self-respect, however.
“Sorry instead of Toriq underestimating Om and Aunt, it's just that Toriq wants everything to go smoothly. Om, Auntie and Annisa do not feel cape when receiving Toriq family,” Toriq said.
“Iya, I understand what Nak Toriq means,” replied Mr. Ernawan.
Then Mr. Ernawan turned to Annisa.
“Where is Annisa, you agree with all of Nak Toriq's proposals?” ask Mr. Ernawan.
“Annisa is up to you. If it is the best,” replied Annisa.
“Alhamdullilah,” says Toriq.
“Thank you, Anissa already wants to understand Brother,” Toriq said.
“Means Sunday Annisa does not come to Jakarta, yes?” ask Mr. Ernawan to Toriq.
“Iya, Om. I brought Mbok Sarmi to help here. Earlier, Mamah even told us to bring another ART for help here. But Toriq refused, fear instead make the house of Om and Aunt became narrow because most of the helpers,” replied Toriq.
“Iya, Aunt. The important thing Aunty and Annisa are not soy sauce,” Toriq said.
“Yes already, now it's night time to rest. Poor Nak Toriq has cape for driving from Jakarta to here,” said Mr. Ernawan.
“Iya, Om.”
“Annisa, her head still hurts?” asked Mr. Ernawan to Annisa.
“It's been a bit light, Sir,” replied Annisa.
“In contrast if treated with experts, instantly healed,” said Mr. Ernawan.
Annisa's face immediately flushed in embarrassment.
“Udah Sir, do not be teased only his son,” exclaimed Mother Titien.
“Loh, it really is. From dawn take medicine but do not heal. But if you take medicine from Nak Toriq immediately healed,” said Mr. Ernawan.
“Udah ah Sir, Let's go to sleep. Poor Nak Toriq not so-so rest,” said Mother Titien then pulled the hand of Mr. Ernawan to immediately enter the room.
Eventually they went into their rooms.
The next morning, Annisa was not allowed to help in the kitchen. Fortunately there was Mbok Sarmi who helped Mother Titien in the kitchen. Fortunately Rafa understands that Mamahnya is still sick, so if you want anything ask the same Mbok Sarmi.
“Assalamualaikum,” said someone while knocking on the door.
“Waalaikumsalam,” replied Mbok Sarmi who was cleaning the living room.
Mbok Sarmi opened the door. A middle-aged woman and a young woman were standing at the door.
“Pak Doctor is there?” ask the woman.
Mbok Sarmi frowned.
“Means, Den Toriq?” ask Mbok Sarmi.
“Iya, who owned the car,” the woman pointed to Toriq's car parked in the yard of Mr. Ernawan's house.
“There, Mom. Having breakfast with Non Annisa and Non Annisa parents,” replied Mbok Sarmi.
“Please call saying Mother Ika Pak Didin's wife wants to meet,” said Ika.
“Good, Mom,” replied Mbok Sarmi then went inside the house.
“Eh...Bu,” Mother Ika call Mbok Sarmi.
Mbok Sarmi came back to Ika.
“Ya, Ma?’
“Whose mother? How did I just see,” asked Ika's mother who was full of curiosity.
“I Mbok Sarmi nanny Den Rafa son of Non Annisa and Den Toriq,” replied Mbok Sarmi.
“Unfortunately Annisa already has a child?” ask Ika's mother.
“There call Mr. Doctor,” command Ika Mother.
“Ya, Ma'am,” Mbok Sarmipun get into the house.
