More Than Marriage

More Than Marriage
Adnan Ramadan?

The sound of the door being knocked broke Allen's daydream about his bitter past. He has to go back to his life now. Forgetting the events of five years ago.

Door opens. Doctors and nurses entered to check on Allen's condition. After all the tests were done, the doctor finally decided that Allen could go home. He was just exhausted and had to pay more attention to his diet.

“You can go home, but remember to keep your diet and not too much thought,” said the doctor with a smile, "If there are symptoms of dizziness and others, and not too much thought, you can come back here for a more serious checkup. Do I have to give you my number?"

Allen's forehead shriveled. The doctor calmly smiled as he put both hands in a white coat bag. Medical personnel oversized suit. "Emmm .. thank you, Doc. I'll remember your message," replied Allen followed by a nod of his head.

The doctor gave a signal. Two nurses understood and resigned.

"Don't call me too formal. Adnan. Just call Adnan." Hands out. Allen rotated his eyeballs. He still did not understand the intent of the doctor's actions in front of him. "Will not welcome my hand?"

Whatisthis? He's asking me to meet? In the hospital? Just be right. "Emc ... Allen's."

Allen finally welcomed the doctor's hand. He was still digesting the situation that was going on. While Alisa was wrinkling in the chair while peeling oranges. He was also confused by the current situation.

"Alright, Allen. Give me your number, if there's anything then I can call you."

Allen opened his mouth. Baffled. Sure oes. His eyes until glared.

"Don't glare that way, God. Hahaha .. I just asked for your number. Can't it?"

Waita minute. Allen's brain was either too stupid or indeed the situation was awkward. Allen still did not understand the behavior of the doctor in front of him.

"You mind?"

Allen blinked. His consciousness is back together. "Eh, later if I get sick, I'll come alone, Doc. No need to bother you."

It would be very troublesome if I didn't know your condition. "alright. Slow down, Allen." The doctor reached into his suit pocket and pulled something out of it. "My card. Complete with my phone number and practice schedule."

"But for what?"

"You must need it." The sneaky grin was clearly imprinted on the handsome face of the doctor.

Doubtful. However, Allen finally received his business card. "Remember my name Adnan. Adnan Ramadan."

Adnan Ramadan? Where have I heard his name? The name is not foreign.

I swear to whatever else Allen doesn't understand the situation. He looked at Alisa. Alisa just sniffed her shoulders. "Don't ask me. I was confused too, all the time I just saw there was a doctor who seduced his own patients. Mending eating his fruit. Then we get ready to go home. I went to the administration first to pay the fee."

"Any," murmured Allen. Grabbing oranges and chewing quickly. Alisa is out to take care of the administration.

Brak!

Alisa dropped her rough body. In his hand was tucked the bill amount. Hospital charges for several hours Allen was admitted.

"Why? What's that expensive?"

Alisa rubbed her face rough. "It's not about the price! But I think the doctor really fell for you!" exclaiming Alisa. Allen knitted his brows. "Your hospital fees have already been paid for by him. Yes, Adnan's doctor paid for it."

"What?! I have to see him!" Allen got out of bed.

"He's gone home. I think you should keep the number. Ah, goddamn. Because of that doctor I forgot too!" Alisa rising. Manghampiri Allen with a sharp look. "Now you're happy, huh? Enter the hospital just because of that evil man!” Alisa is cursing Agra.

“Do not do that. He's not the one who's wrong. I cannot control my feelings. I should have kept my distance from him. Maybe because my distance was too close I got caught. Stop saying he's evil. I'm bad too, Al. ‘And I caused Agra to lose Kinara.”

Alisa glared at Allen with her eyeballs almost out. For Alisa, Agra is evil. Agra only thought of herself without knowing Allen was suffering as well. “Until when will you continue to defend him? Though all this time he did not know you were still breathing or not!” Pouring the peeled apples. “Eat! It's not funny if you die just because of Agra! I'll take you home. Wanna go home to what contract to your grandma's house?”

“You think my contract is an airport? It's like coming home and going. Tomorrow go in?”

Allen chuckled at hearing his best friend nagging constantly. “Of course. If it doesn't get in my pay could be cut. Grandma's medicine is over, Al. Good thing I have savings.”

“As you still remember salary!” grunt annoyed, “If your money is less you can borrow my money. I know your grandmother's medicine is expensive. But remember you have to return my money afterwards. Double.”

Allen laughs. Throughout his friendship with Alisa, Allen knew very well the character of his best friend who was the heart of an angel. Let alone paying double, Allen even forgot how much money he had borrowed from Alisa. So often.

“You are indeed the best.” Thumbs up with eyes flickering.

“Stop that! I'm sick of seeing it!”

***

Allen Caitlin is a 26-year-old woman. Do not ask how physical. For sure she is so beautiful that she can make many men out there fall for her. Patiently waiting until Allen could open his heart. However, conquering the heart of an Allen would not be easy.

He is old enough to build a household. Allen is still single. Even some women out there may already have two children, but the love story is not as smooth as the toll road that is free. There were many pebbles and hikes that made him reluctant to change status.

The biggest obstacle was probably his heart. His heart cannot accept others. There is no place for other men. His heart was filled with men who hated him half to death. Agra Grissham's.

For now Allen only wants to focus on his work, becoming an operator at one of the telecommunications companies in Jakarta. Only as operator. Not a very important and high level. He often takes other work on holidays to make more money. Everyday needs for her and her sickly grandmother must be met by herself. For the past year his grandmother had been sick and needed medicines that were quite expensive.

Her mom? Secretly unbeknownst to his stepfather, Allen often sent Allen money, but Allen did not use the money for a dime. Because only money was sent, without any additional asking for news or health. At least ask how Allen went through such an excruciating life. No, he never asked his daughter. Maybe forget about having such a useless daughter.

“So you didn't get a single photo of Agra?” Alisa dropped her ass on the floor mattress. Straighten your legs and lean against the wall.

“Iya. Everything is removed by Agra.” Allen walked into the wardrobe, his hands deftly looking for Alisa's pajamas. Both are used to changing clothes. “I took a shower first, yeah. Sticky.” Drawing a towel hanging in the stand hanger. “My fault too. I should have run away as soon as I got the picture.”

“But your phone is safe, ‘kan?”

“Aman, anyway. Agra threw it not too hard.” Breathe deeply with your shoulders up and down. “There's a crack.” Alisa's forehead wrinkled. “My broken heart. Probably broken. Ah, I think it's ruined.”

“So we don't expect anymore with Agra?”

“Sadly ...” The headband became the answer that Allen still hangs hope on a haughty human named Agra.

Alisa just took a deep breath. Don't want to be too judgmental of Allen. After all Allen's love for Agra was truly sincere. Agra was just too blind to notice.

Allen disappeared in the bathroom. There was the sound of water running. While Alisa, her body gradually went down with a faint look fading.
