Persuading Lark

The Valley ancestral residence.

Louisa, who had finished her bath, walked to the medicine room to meet Franklin's grandfather. Inside the room, Franklin's grandfather and his cousin Lark are busy concocting drugs so they are unaware of Louisa's arrival.

"Grandfather...Lark.."call him quietly afraid to shock the two.

"My grandson.sit down first. Just a second, Grandpa stacked up this drug."

"How are you doing Lorine?"asked Lark who was the same age as Lorine.

"As you can see cousin, I'm healthy. It seems like you guys are so busy, I'm so annoying" Louisa said feeling unwell.

"Ah not my grandson. We also want to stop. Did grandma tell you to come here?"

Louisa nodded her head.

"That means we'll have dinner soon. Come on Lark, we're ready. Or do you want to hear your grandmother's long talk?"

Lark shook his head quickly.
