Reneism held her tight. After seeing the stain on the bedsheet, he immediately understood what was happening. His clenched hands held back anger and disappointment. He failed to protect his Empress.

He took Louisa to the bathroom, and bathed her. After making sure Louisa's body was clean, she put her clothes on and sat down on one of the chairs.

Reneism approached the bed, opened the sheets and blankets and replaced them with new ones. As soon as all was done, he led Louisa to bed and covered her.

Louisa's head was gently elus slumbered to sleep. Then he went out to the room to find the guard.

"I want to hear reports from you" he said firmly. "Wait for me at the guard post after the change of guard. Tell the substitute guard not to let a single person enter the empress' room without my permission."

"Okay Madam" answered the two of them in unison. They knew that Reneism was in charge of the empress's residence.

Reneism re-entered Louisa's room. He then began to clean up all the mess that had happened.

"Sit !" his orders were firm, after he himself sat in one of the seats in front of the two guards .
