Keep promises

David kept his promise.

The first time Keira's eyes opened, all she found was the man's face looking so calm. Both eyes closed, his sensual lips closed, his breathing was regular, some of his black hair was a little messy because the position of his pillow was not fitting.

His frown was slightly formed, anchoring how tired he was. Keira guessed she hadn't gotten more than three hours of sleep. He must have worked his way through the portions.

David is a hard worker. Keira drew a subtle smile on the sidelines of his life that was still imperfect. Sighing for a moment, he ventured out a hand to fix David's pillow position. He slightly pulled his pillow so that David's head could lie perfectly in the position it should be.

However, he did not expect the movement that he thought was very careful it actually made David's eyes tremble, and soon Keira wanted to keep her hand away but was restrained by David who suddenly had already held Keira's hand.

David opened his eyes.

Keira was nervous to death.

"Sorry, I just want to...."

"Good morning." said David with a hoarse voice typical of people who are still very sleepy. Which surprised Keira.

David was still trying to attract a smile.

"Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to disturb your sleep, I…,"

His words were dashed when suddenly David put Keira's hand on his cheek. Very cold and soft. The girl was astonished and nervous. He then swallowed. David closed his eyes again.

"Responsibility.." he muttered like he was half asleep. "What ?" It was Keira's spontaneous reaction.

"Sleep me back, Keira," she asked a little spoiled.

Keira held a tickle on her stomach, it was strange to see David behaving like that, on the other hand, she was also at a loss as to what to say. "How do I get you to sleep again?"

"Make whatever you think will calm me down."

The more here, why be such a challenge?

Keira thought for a few seconds, before finally moving her hand on David's cheek. It was the most standard and spontaneous idea. He rubbed his cheek up to the head very carefully.

David occasionally opened his still-loving eyes. Sometimes he also draws a smile, it makes Keira become confident, because it means he enjoys it. Keira was happy when she saw him back closed and this time did not open her eyes again, her breathing began to calm down and more regular.

Keira thought the man had returned to his sleep.

Keira gets on with her activities for a few minutes, until she is completely sure. David went back to sleep.

After that, the girl sighed. He slowly got up, with the movement as much as possible did not cause a disturbing sound. He just found out, David is an easy person to wake up. David was not wrong to choose a house away from the hustle of the city like this, the man had sensitive ears.

In this case, Keira became worried about David's sleep patterns. He should be able to get to sleep without any intrusions.

Skip 2 Weeks Later.

In the end Keira set foot back on campus, after feeling completely healed. He had even begun to be able to idle some items that were quite heavy without feeling sick again. Mirae's doctor called her last night and asked her how she was, as if she could already guess that Keira was completely cured. They didn't have a long chat, because Mirae's doctor was so busy in Uzbekistan, she just asked Keira the circumstances and Keira's life with her son David.

What else could the girl answer other than "We're fine"

Because, indeed there is no problem whatsoever, rather, Keira increasingly feels David has his own world, as well as his own. They live in one house, sleep together, but do not have much time to share and fill. This is more distressing than people involved with LDR.

Because Keira and David are physically close, but inwardly, they are far apart.

Keira understands, David is in pre-term office. The last word he knew, the man would develop the wings of his company. Keira was eager to pay attention to the man, he tried, but it felt all in vain, David seemed to think that work was everything. Keira did not know anymore, what did the man really want to accomplish? Because, David already had everything without having to torture himself.

"I'm having more doubts about your marriage." Niken's voice was really very intrusive to Keira who was enjoying the rare sunlight this afternoon.

"David's a good man." Actually that's the answer to make Niken not talk further.

"I know, but he's very strange. Right, right?" Niken nudged Dino who was reading a book.

"Hmm, a little." Dino put both shoulders up and continued reading the book again.

"Weird how?" ask Keira.

"Just think about it, you've never known him at all. You guys are going through a pretty quick approach. It just doesn't make sense, it's the real world, where we need a courtship to have fun."

"But he's not too young anymore." Dino flipped the book sheet.

"Stay away. Even though you're married for health reasons, David seems to know how to steal Keira's heart." Niken then squeezed one shoulder Keira. "Kei, you should be suspicious, maybe he's a player. Because, a man with a life and a supportive face like David would not be able to give his love to a woman he never knew. She even gave up her whole life with you through marriage, does that make sense?"

Keira chuckles blandly while digesting Niken's sentence. If you think deeply, everything is true.

"I don't know, I have no excuses and never found a single bad thing about David." I don't know why, Keira said it in a desperate tone.

"Key, you need to get to know David more deeply."

"What am I doing it for? I'll get to know him slowly."

"It's not about that, the thing is, it's important to you. So, the more you get to know her, the more you know why you're with her."

"Do you think I don't love David?"

"Are you sure you love him? What if all this was just because of your desperate position coupled with your admiration alone?"

Keira was silent.

His heart was suddenly worried.

It was like a surprise because David suddenly called her and asked if Keira was done with her guidance today. Keira says that she will be done in an hour, and the man replies that he will pick up Keira in an hour.

Keira was forced to cancel her intention to go to the bookstore, in fact she intended to buy a refresh on matters discussing international economic issues to support the idea of her script. But, David, this rare invitation of David is more important than anything else.

Keira was waiting for David in the courtyard of the campus courtyard, he was too excited and guessed which man would take him where. Is it straight home? Ask Keira to accompany him somewhere? Or will it end in a romantic walk?

"Daughter's Hero?"

Keira turned her head when she saw a man who was walking towards her, she was tall, white, a very fashionable appearance with her plain grey t-shirt and blue dongker shirt. Keira tilted her head when she saw a mirrorless camera hanging around her neck.

"I'm sorry?" asked Keira, who actually asked who the man was.

"I'm Adrian Nicho. Just call Nicho." the man smiled, showing off a small hole in his cheek. "Sorry, you must be surprised."

Keira was confused as to what to react. So, he can only say. "What's wrong?"

Nicho smiled awkwardly, then handed Keira a brown envelope. "Here, I return what I shouldn't have."

Keira's forehead wrinkled faintly. "What's this?"

"Just open it."

Slowly, Keira opened the contents, and her eyes widened when she saw more than ten of her photographs taken unconsciously. The capture is perfect, the location and angle of the shot are very fitting. Keira looked at everything, this was taken while she was in the cafeteria alone to work on her script.

Keira looked at Nicho in disbelief. "This...?"

"Please, don't be angry. I may have been very rude to take your picture without permission, but really, back then, I couldn't help but point my lens at you. Position, weather, lighting and the object, very fitting. Again, I'm sorry." Nicho slightly bowed, showing how guilty he felt. "I gathered the courage to meet you, but you're very rarely on campus, I also asked for your number from Dino, but you didn't return my message, so I hesitated to see you even more."

Keira was still silent, while looking at the photos in her hands. He was confused, why did he not realize that there was someone photographing him at that time? Is it because he is too serious. Keira just stared at Nicho who was still waiting for Keira's answer.

Nicho looked more agitated, he even rubbed the back of his head. "When I was in a competition to shoot in the cafeteria setting, I should have allowed you first. The photo did look so perfect, but when I wanted to send it today, I felt like I couldn't. It wasn't mine, so I gave it all back to you, complete with a CD containing the soft files, I guarantee, that there are no more soft files of your images to me. I'm really sorry."

Keira took a deep breath, then drew a thin smile. Slowly he reached back into the envelope and pulled out a CD that he said contained soft files from all of Keira's photos. Then, slowly Keira thrust it at him.

"I like the way you aim, I think you're talented. So, I hope my face can be a blessing for you to win in that competition."

Nicho was shocked when he heard that sentence. "W-what? Y-are you serious?"

Keira nodded. “Take it, let's just say I'm doing well and because I like your shots. I'll save the proceeds from this picture as payment." Keira raises an envelope containing her photos. "May you succeed."

Nicho could not hide his big smile. "Thank you, thank you, I really didn't expect that. It's hard to believe." Nicho looked at Keira with sincerity.

The girl also returned her smile. For some reason, he only likes how Nicho admitted his mistake, even though he could not permit Keira. But, he was very polite and Keira knew, it took courage for that. They were still both dissolved in the atmosphere, until finally a car stopped near Keira.

David. He has arrived apparently.

David looks down his car glass, looks like he's wearing glasses. David just stared at Keira without a sound and moved his head, telling Keira to rush in. He thought David was in a hurry so he said goodbye to Nicho.

"I have to go."

Nicho nodded and waved. "Thank you and be careful."

The car drove off the campus grounds. Keira is still looking at the results of photos from the extraordinary Nicho, he did not expect to look that beautiful when in the photo.

"You look happy today?" David made a sound without looking at Keira.

He chuckles. "I just didn't expect that I could be this beautiful in the photos" Keira joked.

"That guy took your picture?"

Keira nodded. "House. His name is Nicho, I just knew him. This photo was taken secretly, and he apologized to me for feeling guilty, so he tried to return all of his shots to me. It's funny." Keira was still smiling, inexhaustible, as she put all the photos back in the envelope.

"Oh, so my wife has a lot of fans on her campus?" David now walked over to Keira, with a frown.

Keira let out a long breath. "T-no.." then he tilted his body to hug one arm David who was free because he did not hold the steering wheel. He rested his head on David's shoulder. "I'm just an ordinary girl who's lucky to meet you." Keira herself does not understand, why he became spoiled, maybe because the effect is too happy David picked him up.

David smiled faintly, and slowly removed his hand from Keira's embrace to be diverted to Keira's back and shoulders. Occasionally his hand also rubbed Keira's head.

"I'm the lucky one to find you, Kei," he whispered, occasionally peeping at Keira's head.

Keira looked up a little. "the wid? Why are you suddenly picking me up, instead of you being so busy?"

“True, I'm very busy. Until my head nearly broke, I might need to rest and clear my mind for a moment somewhere."

"What's? Where are we going?"

"To the right place to do something we are obliged to do."

"Eum? Meanin?"

"of course. Make a child."

David turned to Keira who was gulping in disbelief. "Come, Kei. I can't hold it anymore. "
