Merapi Never Ingkar Janji 2 (The Return of the Sultan)

Merapi Never Ingkar Janji 2 (The Return of the Sultan)
SS. 12. New Family

That night, Tata and Bu Ranti slept in the gazebo around the mosque. Tata could not bear to leave Bu Ranti alone waiting for the arrival of her son.

After the morning prayers, Tata left Bu Ranti who closed her eyes again, to find food and drink for the two of them.

"Tata, where are you son ? Why did you leave Mom alone ?" Whimpering when he did not find Anita on his side.

But his heart was relieved, his cries came to a halt, as his eyes fell on a tote bag containing Anita's clothes.

"I'm sorry Mom Son, I've su'udzon to you." Mumbled himself.

"Mom's up ?" Sapa Tata who just returned.

Ms. Ranti did not answer Tata's question, but instead rushed into the arms of the girl who had just grown up.

"Don't leave my mother son, I'm afraid to be alone here." Whining back.

"No, Mom, Tata's not going to leave Mom." Reply calms.

"I'm sorry Mom, Tata was not saying goodbye to Mom. Tata just went out for a while to eat."

He said while showing the package he was holding.

Miss Ranti smiled meaningfully. I hope to get the family back. Because until now his son has not returned.

"We'll eat first, ma'am."

He nodded, there were no words he could say, other than gratitude.

"Oh yeah son, last night when you left, I got this from a nice young man." Said Bu Ranti while taking out the money and bread that Al gave her.

Last night Ms. Ranti had not had the story, because she had slept when Tata returned.

"And he also gave this to you." He said back, when Bu Ranti gave a business card.

"This money, just keep it for Mom." Tata just took the business card.

'Train ? Who is he ?'

Tata kept the business card in his bag. He again enjoyed his morning breakfast with Ranti.

"Mother, if you stay for a while, mom's okay, right ?" Ask carefully, afraid that Miss Ranti will be offended and sad.

Understandably, his psychic condition is currently not good. He was traumatized by the loss of his son.

"Where are you going, son ?"

"Tata will try to find a job and temporary shelter for us."

"Yes son, I'll be waiting for you here. Who knows, mom's son will come to pick up mommy back." His words are full of hope.

"Remember, mom can't go all the way from here huh. And if you're hungry, you can eat the bread that the good guy gave you, or there's still some packaged rice that's purposefully takin' for lunch." The message is long.

"Yes, son."

According to what Tata said, after taking a shower and changing her clothes, she went to find what she wanted to get.

Every shop, shop or public place he stopped by. I wish there was a job he could do. He forgot about Bu Ranti's message regarding the business card.

But all is nothing, without success.

'O Allah, where else shall I find work and shelter. There's no way I'll stay forever in the gazebo of the Grand Mosque.' The complaint in the heart.

Tata went to a minimarket, just to cool off, after hours of overheating walking. To cover up the embarrassment, he took out a mineral water as a friend to shelter for a while.

"Tag." I heard someone say hello to him.

"Mak Wulan."

"What are you doing here ? Who is the same ?" Ask Ma'am Wulan wonder.

Because he is not usually in this place. Minimarket is quite far from the place where he used to sell.

"I'm, I'm looking for a job Mommy." Answer irent.

"Job ?" Ma'am Wulan sat next to him, ascertaining what the intention of Tata's speech just now.

"Yes Ma'am, I was kicked out of Mommy's house."

"Astag." Ma'am Wulan silenced her own mouth.

"Then, where do you live now ?"

"I still take shelter in the gazebo in the Grand Mosque Mbak." Unmistakably.

"But Ma'am, I'm with a mother who lost her child."

"I mean ?"

"Yes Mbak, yesterday I met Ranti's mother at the Grand Mosque. According to the story he left his son there." Story Tata.

"Oh my God, there's nothing." Comments on Wulan.

"And he did not want me to leave before I could meet his son."

"Hhmmmmm...." Ma'am Wulan let out a long breath. It was as if he was feeling the heavy burden that Tata was feeling right now.

"Yes, we're at the place where you and Ranti's mom live right now."

Not wasting much time, the two of them immediately went to where Bu Ranti was waiting.

With all efforts, Tata and Mbak Wulan seduced Bu Ranti to want to participate with them.

"But son, what if the mother's child comes later ?" Ask fretfully.

"Mother, I will help tell Mr. Takmir the mosque, so that if anyone is looking for a mother, can contact me at the halfway house." Kayu Mbak Wulan's.

Bu Ranti looked at Anita's face, her eyes looking, as if asking for consideration of what she should do.

"Mother don't worry, because there's Tata there too."

Ms. Ranti smiled and obeyed what Wulan said.

Finally, they reached the halfway house. I am thankful to be in this place again. There was Bu Sari and Bu Nilam who greeted him.

They embraced Tata in turn.

"It's also your house, son, why don't you come straight here, when you have no other purpose." Saying Her.

Maybe Ma'am Wulan has told me a lot about his life this time.

"Sorry Mom, I was so upset at that time. And only the house of God the Father remembers." The answer.

"Yes son, and now, this is also your home."

"Thank you, Mom."

"Let Sister Wulan show you Tata's room. Ranti's mom has me set up my own room."

"Thank you very much Mother."

Tata is unceasingly grateful for what he got today. Not just a place to live, but also a temporary job, to help in a halfway house.

More and more, Tata began to enjoy her new life. A new family with a new atmosphere.

Although he is comfortable with his life now, Tata still has to find more work for life in the future.

Days change, time passes. Tata, who happened to get a shopping turn at that time, saw a banner that read the job vacancy affixed to the office gate.

"It takes an office boy/office girl, a minimum equivalent SMP education, send your application to the address listed below." He read the announcement.

'Minimal Junior High School education, I am only a graduate of Elementary School. But if it's just clean, I can too. Should I try yes.' Thought in the heart.

"Sorry sir, does it really take cleaning power here ?" Tanya Tata ventured to the security guard.

"Yes Ma'am, it's got a banner." Replied the security guard pointed towards the announcement that had been Readout.

"Oh yes, then I can note yes sir."

"Yes, please. If the proposal is ready, bring it here directly."

"Yes sir, thank you."

"Sama-sama Ma'am."

After noting what she needed, Tata left the office feeling happy. It was as if he felt a glimmer of hope there.
