Jessy kept her eyes off the road that Nathan's car was on. Shame still lingered upon him after he was caught observing the handsome face beside him.
Who wouldn't want to stare at a handsome face if it was already in sight. It is very dear if you leave it alone.
"Where are you actually going?" Jessy decided to ask because from then on the car was still driving, whether with the purpose where.
Nathan glanced at Jessy, who was still throwing her face away, then refocused herself on the streets. "Later you'll know." he said.
Jessy poked her lips at that.
Jessy frowned as she became familiar with the path Nathan was walking. It was a month ago that he did not cross that road.
"Can't it be that she?" inner Jessy.
Jessy immediately shook her head when she realized her thoughts. That's impossible according to him.
But a moment later, his eyes were perfectly rounded when Nathan's car actually stopped right where he had been a month ago.
"Will not come down?" Nathan sees Jessy looking straight ahead, which will be his goal to invite Jessy.
Jessy then turned her eyes to Nathan, not believing he would take her there.
Nathan then went down first. After Jessy who was still silent.
"Gue still doesn't know the place, you show me the way" he said after Jessy got out of the car.
Jessy stared fixedly at Nathan's face, a million questions filling her mind.
"Why?" nathan asked, watching Jessy keep looking at him. But actually he knew that the girl was in confusion.
Who is not surprised suddenly a guy who will usually invite to something beautiful place, now actually invite him to the tomb.
But what makes Jessy confused about where Nathan knows where this tomb is! Her mother's final resting place. And the purpose for what?
"Where do you know this place?" ask Jessy.
Nathan smiled faintly. And that made Jessy realize, of course, from her grandmother. Who else.
"Gue wants to meet the future mother-in-law." Nathan had no intention of answering Jessy's question. But his words just now made the girl fixated.
But then his feet stepped into the tomb. Nathan walked behind him.
Most of the tombstones filled the tomb. Step by foot Jessy headed to the place where her mama's grave was.
Until his steps stopped next to the tomb with a tombstone bearing the name of Kasih, his mother. The tomb still looks well preserved.
Nathan then approached Kasih's grave and crouched down. He then opened his palms and offered a prayer for Love, and it did not escape the sight of Jessy standing beside him.
I don't know what Jessy's feeling right now, but her heart trembled a little to see Nathan like that.
Nathan closed his palms again after he finished praying. "Assalamu'alaikum," he said. He stared at the need for a gravestone of Love. "I'm sorry I still don't know what to call" he said chuckling. Then he looked up to see Jessy's face. "Can I call Mama?" ask her.
Again Jessy was stunned by Nathan's words that she could not guess. But then he nodded, a sign allowing it.
Nathan looked back at the gravestone of Love. "Sorry Ma, Nathan can only visit" he said. "Nathan's arrival here in addition to the friendship, also to ask for Mama's blessing."
"Nathan will marry Mama's son the day after tomorrow, and wish Mama the best prayer for us." Then he turned his head back towards Jessy who was now also looking at him deeply. "Nathan will try to take care of Jessy" he added by staring into Jessy's eyeballs.
As the day wore on, the two of them decided to return.
On the way there is silence. Until a while Jessy only realized that the car driven by Nathan immediately shot towards her grandmother's house.
"My motor?" ask Jessy.
"Please, it's safe at school" Nathan replied.
When Nathan's car had entered the courtyard of Mariam's house, it turned out Mariam was sitting relaxing on the terrace of the house.
"You're home yet?" Mariam welcomes them.
Nathan and Jessy immediately approached Mariam and kissed the back of her hand. "Sorry Nek, Nathan?" she's a little bad.
"It's okay, if you take Jessy home you're okay too." After saying that Mariam chuckled.
Jessy glared at Mariam, it was nice to have Nathan take her home. He's a kitten.
