LOUP THE GARAOU

The boat drifted down the swamp and arrived at one of the hordes of buildings that connected each other. The cluster of buildings is a group of buildings that are a little far jutting to the edge of the land, and is located in the middle of the water, separated from the hordes of other buildings that are residential.

"This is the residential area of the village officials" Rufio said while controlling the vehicle engine until the two boats leaned neatly on the front of the bridge. "We will go to the Village Chief's residence." he then looked at the seven people and spoke softly. "The lost son is his nephew."

"They are travelers, sir. They came to see you." Rufio replied politely.

For a moment the man glanced here and there and immediately waved his hand quickly. "Come in. It's not safe outside" he said to take the seven men, then return to meet Rufio. "And you, get back to your guard post." he ordered.

Rufio nodded then looked at the seven people she was carrying. "Come in. I'll go back to my guard post. The animals on your mounts I will take to the stables, on the village border. Good bye."

"Thank you Rufio." said Sultan Yazid.

Rufio nodded back and smiled kindly then asked herself to leave the place.

Sultan Yazid nodded as he leaned over half-bending, allowing Rufio to leave them.

Sultan Yazid then advanced into the house followed by his six colleagues. They were welcomed by the village leader.

"Please sit down" he said, allowing the seven men to sit on the long sofa by the side of the wall. "I'm sorry if my welcome is a bit stiff" he said humbled. "We had just experienced a shocking event." the man in the sideburns then sat down in his private seat.

"I am the leader in Gieljoorn. Just call me Haldberg.

Havard choked on hearing the man's name. As if he understood, Hardberg smiled and explained that he was named after a type of weapon because his parents wanted his son to be as strong as the weapon.

"Even I myself told the blacksmith in Leningrad to make the weapon" he got up again and stepped into the corner of the room behind his chair. There was a spear of unique shape. Haldberg grabbed it and took it to the center of the room.

"This is a weapon of my pride, according to the name they bear on me." he said with a smile while stroking the gun shaft. After being content to sweep his gun shaft, as if he realized, Haldberg again looked at Sultan Yazid.

"Oh, yeah. Rufio brought you to me because of what business?" haldberg asked as he leaned his spear against the side of the grasshopper's backrest.

Sultan Yazid nodded. "There really is no specific purpose" he answered and then looked at the six colleagues. "These seven of us were travelers from the east about to travel. And it just so happened that our route crossed Gieljoorn. We only ask permission to pass, if it's allowed."

Haldberg laughs. "I thought you were the hunters Rufio had brought to me" he said, nodding. "Please. To appreciate your arrival, I'm letting you stay overnight at my house." he said and called a servant.

A young lady appeared. The man was strangely dressed in women's clothing and in a wooden fashion.

"Take them to the guest room and serve them well." Haldberg ordered his side steward.

The man nodded in reverence and allowed them to head to the guest room. Sultan Yazid asked Nagini and Champa to follow the man.

"You're Selena too." pinta Havard interrupted. "Go with them. The four of us are still in discussion with Mr. Haldberg."

Selena nodded obediently and then rose to follow Champa and Nagini who had left the room first.

After the three women died, Sultan Yazid then arranged his seat and leaned forward.

"We heard that in this village there was a kidnapping. Is true?" sultan Yazid asked in awe.

Haldberg took a deep breath and nodded his head while breathing out, as if he were carrying a heavy burden.

The three of them arrived at the room intended by Haldberg. The man invited them into the room.

"I brought some food into the room soon." said the man then leaned over and turned to leave.

"Wait a minute." interrupted Champa holding the man. The silver-white haired girl looked at her two best friends. "I'm curious about the event. Let's ask him."

Nagini then hinted for the man to follow the three of them into the room. Once inside the room, they began to interrogate the sissy's maid.

"Sort of demihumans." interrupted Selena.

"Garaou is a kind of demihuman but its class is low" said Pammi. "This Garaou was named Loup by Fenris and the two have been friends ever since."

"Where did Garaou find Fenris? I know Garaou is not as commercialized as karkadan and other genetically modified creatures." - Todong Nagini.

"Why is that?" ask Selena.

"Garaou is hard to maintain. There is no captivity to the creature. Garaou is a type of wild demihuman because their nature is generally more inclined to wild animals than captive animals." replied Nagini.

"Fenris found it two years ago in the northern Hoyabaccha Forest, near a place that people believe is the Shamvala gate" Pammi replied.

Champa looked a little unsettled hearing that.

Selena and Champa can only look at each other while Nagini just sits quietly at the end of the bed. Paddy then arose to beg himself to prepare a banquet for the guests of the village chief.

"I will also come with you." said Sultan Yazid and looked at Thor. "What about you, King Thor? Are you coming with us?"

Thor raised his face to look at Sultan Yazid and a second later he nodded steadily. Sultan Yazid smiled and looked at Haldberg.

"I think the four of us will be looking for your son, Mr. Haldberg" said Sultan Yazid.
