Marrying the Prince of Cats
Chapter 24
James takes Dilla to a magnificent hotel where his fiancee's reception takes place.
"What are we doing here?" ask Dilla
"You must be my fiancee in place of my future wife who ran away because of the gossip we were dating" James replied
"What!!" exclaimed Dilla glared
"But why should I!" coherent
"Because you've already made my fiancee's show off!" james's
"Why do I feel like I've experienced something like this?" said Dilla scrunched her forehead
Without thinking, James took Dilla by the arm and brought her to his parents who were waiting for him.
"Who is that woman?" ask Zuleha James' mother
"She's the woman I've loved all along, ma'am," James replied, leaving his parents stunned
Both of James' parents then asked James to pin his engagement ring to Dilla. The woman could not refuse him even though he actually did not want to be James' fiancee who was famous for being super fierce and cold.
After the ring exchange, James introduced Dilla to his extended family.
Dilla seemed nervous when she met James's extended family about to discuss the wedding date. Seeing the nervous Dilla makes James immediately clasped the fingers of the girl makes Dilla surprised instead of playing to see the warmth of James' heart.
"It looks like I'm going to be postponing the wedding date, because Dilla still has to shoot her latest movie" James said
"Well, remember grandfather can't wait long,"
"Maybe in three months I'll marry Dilla, after I finish my last film" James replied
"Alright, I hope this time you really keep your word, because if you don't then you'll marry the woman that grandpa chose,"
After the show was over James drove Dilla home.
"Even though you're my fiancee now, still I'll never treat you as special. I'll treat you just like everyone else when filming" James said upon arrival at Dilla's residence
The man took off his glasses and looked at Dilla's face, at once Dilla's heart was pounding as she looked at James's face that was so similar to Rendra's when he was not wearing his glasses.
Why are you so similar to him, are we really meant to be together?. If that's true then I wouldn't mind if it had to be your fiancee,
"Yes I know and I don't mind it either" replied Dilla then got out of her car
James did not get out of his car or drive the woman to his doorstep. He immediately drove his car out of Dilla's yard.
Why was I faced with the same situation when I met Rendra in the comic world.
In the morning Dilla headed to the set without Nelli. Everyone seemed surprised to see Dilla's arrival without her manager.
Seeing Dilla's arrival made Junior immediately approach her.
"Now I know why James chose you as the lead in his latest film. Aniway survived the last night's fiancee" whispered the man
"Thanks" replied Dilla, then approached James Arthur
The man immediately gave the script of his dialogue to Dilla.
"Ok" replied Dilla
He then looked for a comfortable place to study his dialogue before filming began.
"Well, the sun was so hot even though it was still morning, it turns out you came here alone, without me!" babble Nelli just arrived on set.
While on the set, Dilla felt a little awkward because everyone treated her differently. Understandably, the crew and artists do not want to deal with James just because he mistreated his future wife.
Seeing an uncomfortable Dilla on set led James to ask the artists and Crew to be normal with Dilla.
During filming, James did not treat Dilla as special. The man tends to be even more indifferent than usual.
Of course this attitude of James made people feel there was something between the two of them.
"Is your relationship just a setting?" junior chirps made everyone immediately stare at the two
"What's true, after all, I'm not Dhira who always sets everything in order to jump-start his career" replied Dilla
"Then prove to me that your relationship is not a match!" challenge Junior
"True, I'm sure he was deliberately engaged to James to get the lead role in the film or to boost the popularity of this film to explode in the market?" connect Dhira
Hearing the challenge from Dhira and Junior, Dilla immediately walked over to James who was busy giving directions to his crew.
Without a second thought he immediately kissed the man's lips making everyone look at him straight away.
I will never forget this incident in my entire life. A woman suddenly kissed me, and I couldn't turn her down, I somehow felt that
he is someone I miss so much,
James immediately let go of his kiss. The man immediately picked up the script of the drama and handed it to Dilla.
"Read and learn the script because filming will soon begin" James said, then left Dilla
He then took a bottle of cold water and gulped it down.
Why is my chest still beating so fast, what exactly happened to me, why did I become like this?
James tried to calm himself, undeniable if he felt like there was an electric spark that stung his body when the girl kissed him.
"Don't tell me I like that girl, remember James you were engaged to her just to keep your family's good name,"
Dilla was surprised to read the script of the drama, she only knew if the film that will be worked on by James is about the story of the cat prince.
Somehow the girl remembered the figure of Rendra. He who played Hanindilla felt uncomfortable when Rendra was played by Junior's ex-lover.
He then approached James and told him of Rendra's character. But even though it has been told about Rendra James still does not want to replace Junior with other artists.
That certainly makes Dilla more upset and not respect him. Moreover, seeing the arrogant attitude of Junior who feels as a senior artist to always be all alone.
The two often seem to fight in one scene. Dilla who always felt Junior did not act properly always asked him to improve his acting, but Junior always did not want to repeat the scene.
Because Dilla was upset he then complained to James, because James did not want to listen to him. Dilla filed a protest against filming a single frame with Junior, which infuriated James with Dilla.
