Marrying my Enemy (The Mafia)
Chapter 68

Louis rushed out of the car with a pistol ready to shoot, but when he was about to close the car door he heard a conversation used by some men with a foreign language, namely English instead of Spanish. For a moment he stopped trying to understand the conversation while looking for the whereabouts of the voices but he did not discover their whereabouts. Louis finally understood who had mostly foreign-speaking men.

"Da""""m'n it!" maki Louis's.

Louis was about to run into the mansion because his thoughts were only the safety of his wife because he saw there was smoke billowing from behind the mansion meaning it was in the pavilion that meant the enemy had already entered inside the mansion. But just as he stepped on his feet yet to step on the stairs into the mansion suddenly there was a woman who covered her face with a cloth just showing her eyes just shot right in Louis's arms and chest until he fell down and screamed in pain.

"www...Who are you stopping!" shouted Louis. He was still trying to catch up but his body was dazed. Louis fell to the ground.

But the woman did not stop she ran as fast as lightning through the front door of the mansion in a matter of seconds the woman simply disappeared, but the way the woman ran and the shape of the woman's back body was no stranger to Louis. He held his shoulders and chest to hold back so as not to bleed much. Surprisingly after Louis was shot by the enemies and left, Louis was still trying to guess the figure of the woman.

His men had arrived, they shouted to call Louis by name when they saw Louis' body was already sprawled on the ground, their throats raised the large body into the mansion.

Now he understands the meaning of Andre's words in the car. Leoni heard the commotion in front of the mansion she ran forward. The woman was transfixed to see her husband being carried by his men and she saw her husband covered in blood. That pitch-red liquid continued to flow from his shoulders and chest.

"Take me to the empty room downstairs!" perinta Louis he's still conscious. The mobster knew his wife was panicking and was standing at the door. Louis turned his face away not wanting to look at the woman who was worried about him.

Leoni who had gotten used to the blood was not afraid at all. This time Louis' blood was too much. He was used to treating many wounds, his men often he cured himself. But when he thought of treating Louis, he was almost hysterical.

The eyes of the two met when Louis was brought into the room, still in a conscious state Louis' gaze made Leoni freeze. There was anger in that gaze, accusations full of emotion.

"Why?" inner Leoni.

"Miss?" Wilda and Megan who stood by Leoni looked at him anxiously.

"Yes?" sahut Leoni but his mind still remembered Louis' angry gaze.

Wilda said, "Mr Andre wants to move Mr. Louis to his room instead of your room. Do you want to see him?"

"Does he want to see me?" leoni's voice trembled there was a tightness within his hidden chest not wanting others to know only he and her husband understood that gaze.

Wilda did not want to look into Leoni's sad eyes, there were tears stuck there, "The doctor has come to treat Mister, you don't worry too much about him." Megan rubbed Leoni's back trying to calm the woman down.

His heart ached when he heard Louis was going to be separated into Andre's room. In the mansion, there were many empty rooms. Leoni bowed she felt more hurt than the accusation in Louis' eyes.

"If that's what she wants" said Leoni.

Leoni stared intently at Megan, then turned her face away . Did she misunderstand Louis' gaze, or did it really believe her husband was intent on harming her?

Leoni went down the stairs to the room currently occupied by Louis. He saw a guard in the liaison room preventing him from entering. Leoni tried to get past the bodyguard but the big muscular man blocked her way.

"I'm sorry, Miss," the bodyguard bowed he did not dare look at Leoni.

"Did my husband order you to stop me from entering?" sue Leoni.

The man looked down he looked at his feet without saying anything. It was enough for his answer.

"Whether the doctor is with him, oh one of the doctor's assistants I mean," asked Leoni anxiously. The dres she wore shook because of Leoni's trembling body as she held back emotions.

"I__,"

Not yet finished saying, suddenly there was the sound of broken items from behind the closed door. Leoni turned deathly pale, then a crimson hue returned to her cheeks as her emotions exploded.

"I can prevent him from feeling ill!" Angrily Leoni stared intently at the men guarding the connecting room. "Let me pass before he suffers more." Leoni tried to pull the guy's body. However, the men interrupted Leoni.

"I'm sorry, Miss. But, you can't__"

"You're no smarter than the fool in there who dares to take action without extensive knowledge. Don't you know the difference between an assistant and a doctor?" Leoni pushed the man down, and he walked up to the door of the room that was locked from the inside because in the room there was Andre who accompanied Louis.

Leoni put her mouth in the keyhole while shouting, "If you hurt or paralyze her because of your carelessness, I will make sure your thumb is hung up until it breaks! And if he dies, you'll expect a thousand times that you die too!" Leoni then turned towards the man, who was now staring at her with wide eyes. " You too!" point Leoni right at the guy's eye seeds.

Inside the room, the doctor's assistant heard Leoni's speech very clearly. He hesitated for a moment while bandaging wounds on Louis's shoulders and chest. The blood had stopped and two bullets were released. The assistant heaved a sigh of relief as the situation at the door had calmed down again. And as long as Louis fainted he could bandage his wounds with youth.

There was a medical device falling behind the door because Louis rebelled he did not want to be drugged. Therefore, his long legs nudged the doctor's tool until it fell on the floor.

Andre continued to walk here and there, the old man did not understand why anyone could dare to attack the mansion and here they had a goal that was Louis.

Leoni's voice rang out to the upper room. He walked up the stairs to his room but along the corridor he met Louis' men. They looked at Leoni with strange looks. Leoni was angry and frustrated, she was pacing around in her room. Megan and Wilda who kept Leoni company did not dare to talk to him.
