Early in the morning Evan had woken up, leaving Jelita still asleep. Gathering his men in the meeting room. While outside the room he deliberately placed a female servant to keep watch who knew Jelita woke up faster.
There were about ten people in the meeting room, one of them was Kiara. Each of them submitted files and results from the investigation of two assault cases yesterday.
"Report me what you got."
"The person we placed in Heru's residence managed to get important information from you" one of his men reported.
"Give it to me."
The man gave several sheets of paper containing the records of the investigation of the people in the Heru residence.
Heru Winata is the cousin of Dery Sasongko. This business competition occurred from the reign of his Grandfather Jelita.
"I thought it must have been him. So hurried to act that he forgot to remove the traces. People as reckless as this can be arrogant want to seize the power of Sasongko, his dream is too high." Evan said with a sarcastic smile.
"It looks like we have to act on Van's own. Because the police do not have enough evidence to ensnare him as a suspect" Kiara said. He has received a file from Evan's men in the police, that the evidence does not lead to Heru at all.
"Don't do anything for a while. Right now their level of alertness is very high. Too much energy if we attack them. Wait for them to let our guard down just took a chance."
"But Van,"
"Follow my orders. Have our men gather evidence of Heru's crimes. That evidence we're gonna use to attack him at the right time." Evan cuts.
"All right."
"You may go, oh yes when I am near Miss Jelita, I ask you not to discuss work with me."
"Good sir."
Now only Kiara and Evan live in the room. Evan was focusing on the screen, while Kiara was focusing on him.
"What's wrong?" Evan asked in a flat voice, while the focus remained on his computer monitor.
I heard Kiara's breath. "Evan, don't you feel that you're going too far with Miss Jelita."
Evan stopped his activity, then looked at Kiara fixedly. "Do I look like a lost person? Until such a sentence comes out of your mouth."
"Unlike your plans, Miss Jelita seems to take your marriage seriously" Kiara said boldly. There was a gurat of worry emanating in his eyes.
"I've never thought my story with Jelita was a joke. The thought of where you call me marrying Jelita for having a certain plan. Kiara in the future watch your words. Don't let anyone misunderstand you for what you say." Assertive Evan with a face look does not like. Kiara choked, what eyes had been wrong with Evan. Impossible, Evan is the only one who understands it.
"I'm sorry I was too presumptuous."
"Yes, go to your room. I'll see Jelita." Sahut Evan while rising up leaving Kiara who still can not be separated staring at his back.
Like something was missing in the corner of his heart when he heard Evan's words earlier. A man who for a few years only cares about one woman, namely himself. Quickly change direction. This change Kiara is really unwilling, she thinks that young lady does not deserve to be by Evan's side.
Evan's steps stopped on the doorstep of the room. But then he quickly closed the door. Netraya looked at Jelita's body which was only wrapped in a towel, was standing staring at Evan.
"How can I forget that I didn't bring clothes" said Jelita slowly. Evan did not say, his heart almost escaped seeing this, a smooth body that had teased him several years ago.
"Evan how?"
"Eh, stay here I'll have people buy one for you."
"Don't wastefully borrow your lady's butler's shirt."
"Servant? How about Kiara's clothes."
"I said waiter. Not Kiara!" jelita said while looking hard.
"All right."
"Bak kok looks like I don't like it is minjamin banjunya to me," protested Jelita while receiving clothes handed out by the waiter.
"Not so, miss. My shirt is simple, I don't think it's appropriate to lend it to the lady." she said nervously. Jelita didn't say, she went to the dressing room. Five minutes later he came out wearing the clothes he had borrowed. Tight clothes in pink and black toad.
Maybe Jelita's mood was good, this time she had breakfast with the others in the dining room. Jelita and Kiara sit between Evan. Maybe before this Kiara used to sit next to Evan.
At this table, there were about ten people who had breakfast with them. Here they always do this, of course this is Evan's desire. He doesn't like to eat alone.
Everything started breakfast with a silent atmosphere, only the clanking of spoons sounded.
"Eating this, it's good for your wound healing" Kiara said as she placed the vegetables on Evan's plate. Jelita took a quick glance and continued eating. Little attention from Kiara successfully made Jelita's heart heat up. This is what she dislikes, Kiara's sweet attitude towards Evan.
Jelita tried to be patient, they were indeed close before. Things like this they are used to doing.
Evan looked at Jelita's face with the corner of his eyes, trying to read the look of his wife's face that looked flat.
"Eat this." Evan put down the chicken suiran of Jelita's plate. Jelita did not respond, she chose to enjoy every chew in her mouth.
"Van, today you have an appointment after lunch" Jelita reminded Evan.
"Reschedule the meeting later. I'm still on vacation today."
"But this meeting is very important Van. Don't you feel better, this opportunity won't come twice. You forgot it's so hard to meet this guy."
Evan took a deep breath. The corner of his eyes looked at the nettle, that face looked expressionless.
While Jelita finished her meal, without speaking she left the dining room towards her room.
"You should teach your wife Van. It's appropriate for miss to be so haughty," Kiara lamented with an annoyed face. He was upset when Jelita left the dining room without further ado on the others.
Evan looked at Kiara fixedly. "She's Miss Jelita, Kiara. Do you deserve to object to his attitude. Did you forget, young lady never eats sharing a table with a waiter. But earlier he even seemed to enjoy sitting at a table with us." said Evan firmly.
Kiara fell silent, again and again Evan defended her, what indeed the feeling that Evan had was that deep.
"I went to find Jelita first." said Evan again and then left. Actually Evan was a little annoyed by Kiara's attitude which deliberately heated up Jelita.
While Jelita in the room was heard calling someone. Sayub-sayub Evan heard Jelita mention Boy's name on his chat. Evan's chest was hot for a moment.
Instead of avoiding Evan, the road approached Jelita. Jelita, who was sitting on the bed, looked up slightly at Evan who was standing with his hands folded in front of his chest.
"Sorry Boy, I don't want to go out right now" Jelita said, staring at Evan. While the one being stared at seemed to highlight a smile while nodding.
"Why don't you go to college, are you sick?" Ask Boy. There was a worried tone in his sentence.
"I'm not sick, I'm on family business so I'm not going to college." Clearly Jelita. His eyes were still staring at Evan who was also looking at him sharply.
"You're making me anxious Je. Your phone's been dead all day."
"Sorry the show suddenly so forget your news," replied Jelita gently. Evan's jaw hardened instantly, for some reason Jelita's tenderness this morning towards Boy could not be abikan as usual.
"It's okay, all that matters is that you're okay Je."
"Thank you, oh, boy, yeah. I'm a little busy right now."
"I still miss" Boy said in a soft voice.
"But I'm really busy. Tomorrow I'm in college you can take your miss off. Okay," said Jelita with a smile on the corner of her lips.
Evan clucked in annoyance, Jelita's attitude just now had provoked him. His chest was burning with hot fire. Why when in love natural things can arouse anger.
To be continuous.
