The home of Baker Atkinson.
That afternoon, Jackson was asked by Baker to control one of his companies outside the city. Jackson, according to him, protested nothing.
Since the incident this morning, Jackson looks a little moody and minimal talking.
Even Asten felt something was wrong with his son. Only, when Asten wanted to invite his only son to talk, Jackson often avoided him.
“Bu, Jackson left first,” Jackson told Asten, before he left home.
“Jackson wait!” Asten ran a little after his son who was about to enter the car.
“Wait, there's something you want to ask you.” Asten held his son's arm while staring in wonder.
“What, Mom?” ask Jackson a little.
“You ... is fine ‘kan? No problem not with our plan?” asked Asten, looking at him softly.
Jackson smiled wryly with his withered gaze. “Our problem is too much, Mom. For now, I don't expect our plan to go smoothly,” he replied slowly.
Asten frowned. “You mean?”
Jackson breathed heavily, remembering his father's attitude when he found out that Akash wasn't in Canada. “It's okay, Mom. I said it like that out of fear of disappointment, Mother,” he said still covering everything up.
Even so, he did not want to make his mother feel sad if he knew that his plan this time failed to return.
“Jackson ..” Both of Asten's eyeballs seemed to show his anxiety, he seemed to be able to feel that Jackson was in anxiety.
“Bu.” Jackson returned to smile. He let go of the hand of Asten that was still coiled in his lanagn.
“I leave first yes, I don't think much,” he said then immediately entered his car, in which there has been a private driver waiting for him since.
Asten could finally just throw a sigh of resignation. He knew that if Jackson had been in trouble, their current plans would have been problematic as well. After seeing the departure of Jackson's car that had been lost from his sight, Asten went back into the house.
“You why?” ask Baker suddenly.
“Hah? ... Oh, this Jackson seems to be in trouble,” said Asten limply.
“What is the reason for the departure of Akash and his wife from Canada?” ask Baker intentionally.
The look on Asten's face changed immediately. The woman was shocked to hear from her husband. “What do you mean?” ask the less understanding Asten.
Baker took a slow breath. “So morning he got word, that Akash and his wife were not at the hotel he booked. And then he asked his manager there, and his manager said, if Akash and his wife never came to Canada, who came is his servant only.”
“Entah, maybe Akash wants to take his wife to another country. Why?” ask Baker to fish.
“My husband, why are you so calm? Isn't this a very important thing. What if Akash and his wife were in an accident?” asked Asten to give a guess.
“No way, last night alone, Akash told his secretary, there is no way he was in an accident,” Baker replied.
Asten was pensive, feeling something strange. “Loh, then, means ... My husband already knew that Akash was not in Canada from the beginning, his inner”.
“What is your concern about your connected child so much?” baker looked seriously.
“Of course, My Husband. I worry about him, he is also our son,” he replied with a forced smile.
“But, thank goodness that he was not in an accident and told you and his secretary.”
“Hm.”
“Damn it! So because of this husband my son became moody like that, Asten's inner” was so upset.
“Oh yes, My Husband. Then do you know where Akash and his wife are?” ask Asten.
Baker understood the question, rather than taking the risk of a no-no, he would rather lie, even though he was most anti-lying. This he was forced to do so that his son and daughter-in-law could honeymoon calmly.
“I don't know, and I don't want to find out. All I know is that they are enjoying their time together. So, there's no need for us to worry about them,” Baker said firmly, ending the conversation and leaving Asten alone in the living room.
“Damn it! How dare he hide something from me, his inner” is upset, seeing the departure of Baker who has moved away from his sight.
