Marrying a Mysterious Man

Marrying a Mysterious Man
The Real Jackson

Akash entered his study, he took a deep breath, feeling so happy that he was finally able to work like most people, without having to hide anymore and without having fear or sin that haunts.

He then returned out of his room when a nurse came to his room to take him around checking his patients who would later perform surgery with him.

Akash is so straightforward to do his job, especially what he currently uses is not Indonesian anymore but speaks Singapore English.

When she finished, she asked her sister to return first to her room, while she wanted to go first to the ward where Jackson was currently staying.

Akash knocked on the door of the room, saw Jackson sleeping in his safe, and Baker sitting curled up on the chair looked very frustrated.

“Dad,” call Akash slowly as soon as he enters the room.

Baker looked up at the presence of his son there. Suddenly Baker woke up and looked at Akash with his eyes reddened and swollen like someone who had been crying all night.

Akash was silent, he already knew why his father could get there like that.

“Dad ... What, Daddy—”

Before Akash could finish his speech, Baker clutched his firstborn tightly, dropping all his grief on his first child's shoulders.

Akash quietly flinched in his place. Slowly his hands patted and stroked his father's back. The voice groaning and sobs from his father, really makes Akash not strong to hold his sadness.

Now the two men shed tears on each other, understanding each other with their current condition. Moreover, Akash was very sad because in the end Baker knew about Jackson's true condition.

After a few minutes of hugging each other and crying, Baker began to let go of his arms and distance himself from Akash, then looked at him with disappointment.

“Why not tell from yesterday Akash?” baker asked with a voice that sounded heavy.

Akash looked down.

“A-I'm afraid Dad is okay, Dad.”

Silent, the two just stared at each other. Baker tried not to blame the circumstances, as he also knew Akash must have been so worried about him that he didn't tell Jackson the truth a few days ago.

“A-I also can't if I'm the one talking directly to Dad. Ma-eatya I asked the doctor to tell Jackson's condition to, Dad.”

“But, Dad ... Dad take it easy, next week I will soon operate Jackson, I will try check—”

“No need!” cut Baker firmly, making Akash instantly speechless and look at him in surprise.

Baker took a long breath. “Dad knows, the risk of operating Jackson is too heavy. Therefore, I don't want you to do it.”

“T-but, Dad. In this hospital there is nothing sang—”

“Dad knows, therefore, I will bring Jackson to America,” he said slowly.

Akash immediately bought both eyes increasingly surprised to hear the words of his father.

“What?! ... America?” her tanyanya was very surprised, which was answered by a slow nod by Baker.

“Father will bring Jackson to America next week.”

“T-but, Father ... I'm sure, I can definitely do it, I can afford to meng—”

“Dad knows your surgical skills are amazing. But, Akash, I can't let you do it. Did I forget your bond with Jackson?”

Akash was silent, still not understanding his father's words.

“You brothers! If something unwanted happens during surgery, are you able to accept everything? Are you ready to regret it huh?” baker asked with a stern look. Makes Akash quiet to realize it.

“Dad knows, if that had happened, you would not have forgiven yourself. That's why I had to take Jackson to America. Dad had to do the operation there,” Baker said with a feeling that increasingly stifled the chest.

“But, Father if in case in America what failure happened, Daddy—”

Again, Baker interrupted Akash's remarks, because he already knew what his son was going to ask.

“Dad is ready to accept the risk. If you have to be disappointed, you will be disappointed in yourself, and you will probably assume all this happened because of fate. But, if you did, Dad couldn't, because Dad was afraid that Dad would be mad at you and regret everything.”

Akash nodded his head slowly. He understood the thoughts of his parents. Because if he thinks back, if he did it, of course if there was a failure he would regret it and suffer because he could not save his only brother. But, if done by others, at least Akash or his father can consider all that is the destiny and will of God.

“Shira, what should I do?” tanya Kalala was still with both beads that were teary-eyed.

Shira was silent in confusion, and felt saddened by Jackson's current state.

“I can't say anything, Kalala. Do what you think is good and that definitely does not incriminate you.”

Kalala sobbed, then swept back the tears on her cheeks using the back of her hand.

“But, Kalala, does Edwin already know about this?” ask Shira.

Kalala shook her head slowly. “Which knows, only me, Mr. Akash and Mr. Baker. It was also because of the doctor who said everything to Mr. Baker.”

Shira nodded slowly, she understood the feeling of Kalala who was currently in a state of turmoil. And Shira has only understood what Akash has kept secret for a few days. Because a few days ago, Akash had looked confused, but when Shira asked him, the man only replied that it should still be kept secret until the time comes. And it turns out that what was kept secret for a few days was Jackson's condition.

It is 10am Singapore time. Kalala knocked on Jackson's outpatient room door. The door is open.

In front was Baker who was standing looking straight at him. With the look of a face, a thousand hopes were given to Kalala.

“Master,” greeting Kalala disinclined, while nodding politely.

“Come in,” Baker said, Kalala nodded and entered the room.

He kept a bag of food on the living table in the room.

“What, Sir have eaten?” kalala asked, Baker shook his head.

“But.”

“Emh, this is stock from lady Tessa, for, Mr.” Kalala took out a box from the bag she was carrying. Then give it to Baker.

“If, Mr Jackson, has he eaten?” asked Kalala, glancing at Jackson who had been seen sleeping.

Baker returned to shake. “Since last night, he has not wanted to eat until now,” replied Baker quietly, with his blank gaze like thinking of something.

Kalala was quite surprised to hear that. He also understood, Jackson did not want to eat for sure because of the disease he suffered at this time.

“He is still devastated by the news. I hope you can persuade him to eat,” Baker said.

Kalala took a deep breath, then nodded her ass.

Again and again, regret and guilt again stifled Kalala's chest. His mind was made in a frenzy, because of this matter. However, as much as possible, he had to make a decision immediately.

Kalala who was about to step closer to Jackson, suddenly turned to face Baker who was about to spoon the food into his mouth.

“Master,” says Kalala slowly. Making Baker chew the food in his mouth should quickly swallow it.

“What's up, Kalala?”

Kalala took a deep breath again, trying as much as possible to convince her that the decision she took was the best decision for herself and Jackson.

“Master, emh .. about the torch last night ...”

Baker was still watching him closely, hoping that Kalala would respond to his request.

“Sorry, sa-me ..”
