The One Who Always Exists

Ethan and Geya are now one car on their way home. The man had already asked a subscription mechanic to go to the location where Geya's car was staying.

"Where were you?" ethan asked after a long silence.

Geya looked at the man next door, not liking to be bullied for his personal affairs. But it would be better to be honest for now.

"I am from the Lambada cafe, having met Bara" he replied in a boasting tone.

"Oh .. Then why don't you just ask him for help when your car breaks down?"

Hearing Ethan's question made Geya a little offended.

"I was on my way, too, but I can answer your phone" Ethan replied.

Ethan looks at Geya for a glimpse before then looks back at the streets. He was still curious, what did the man want to go to the hotel and what was his purpose?

"Have you called aunt Elin and uncle Adnan?"

Geya turned to Ethan and looked at the man's face for a while, before then she turned her eyes the other way. In his heart he admitted, if indeed only Ethan is always in when he is in need of someone.

While at home, Mama Elin and her husband are worried right now. As soon as they checked hp, there were some missed calls from Geya. But once they call back, Geya's number is off.

"Pa, I'm afraid something's happened to Geya, pa. Mama's worried that guy's doing something to our daughter. Come, pa. Do something!"

"Calm down, ma. Papa wants to try Ethan's phone now. Who knows Ethan could help us."

"Yes, pa. Call Ethan!"

Adnan dialed Ethan's phone number on his phone screen. Not long after, the phone was connected.

"Hello, Than. Ethan, can you go to uncle's house now?! Uncle needs your help" cried Adnan.

"Yes, uncle. What help?" ask Ethan from the phone.

"Than, Geya had called several times to uncle's phone. Once on the phone back, Geya's number is off. Uncle and aunt are very worried."

"Uncle and aunt take it easy. Now Geya is with me. So, Geya's car broke down and she called her uncle and aunt for help. Because my uncle and aunt didn't answer the phone either, so Geya asked me to come to the place where the car broke down" Ethan explained.

Adnan and mama Elin breathe a sigh of relief to hear that Geya is with Ethan right now.

"Thank God if Geya is with you. Uncle and aunt will feel very safe."

The phone connection ended.

"Mama and papa?" ask Geya.

Ethan nodded in confirming. "Yes, they're worried about you. Said your number wasn't active when they tried to call back."

Geya checked her phone. And it turns out that his phone ran out of battery. Lucky he's with Ethan now. If he was more concerned about his prestige, maybe he would spend the night on the quiet streets earlier with a speck of hope there is another vehicle passing by.
