CH-49 Evelyn's

Evelyn slowly shaves off Jeremy's brew. The cloth stuck to the man's chest and was on his lap. Jeremy just looked at his wife's face that sometimes moved away and then approached again. As the body approached, it became more and more visible that round belly.

The desire of the heart to want to hold that stomach but it was just the desire that was buried in his heart, to extend his hand touching that stomach alone could not. Now only realized and regretted when he was healthy to hug his wife can rub the baby in the stomach of his wife instead he missed it and instead made his wife woe.

Evelyn brought her face closer to Jeremy's face not to kiss him but to wipe the face of the man she had shaved. Jeremy looked at her, if it wasn't like this, he wanted to kiss her and hug her but the truth was that he could only look at her. I don't know when he can hug and kiss her again, or forever he'll be like this? He really wasted his life.

“It's done. I'll get you a mirror!” Evelyn took off the cloth she had on Jeremy, a cloth to hold back the feathers she had shaved so as not to dirty Jeremy's clothes.

Evelyn wakes up to save the tools used to shave Jeremy on the table and then sits next to Jeremy by holding a mirror in his hand.

In front of him the mirror to Jeremy, while bringing his head closer to Jeremy's head so that he can see Jeremy's face in the mirror.

“You're tidy now.” Evelyn smiled looking at that face closer. His left hand rubbed his cheek.

Jeremy felt the touch of the hand, he hoped Evelyn would kiss him on the cheek but it was just a wish because she couldn't say it and it turned out that Evelyn didn't kiss him.

“Do you like how you look now? The wounds on your face heal quickly, may you also return to health. I haven't told your father anything, I don't want Mr. Kades to be worried. I want to show you my pregnancy, our parents would be happy if they had a grandchild.”

Jeremy just listened to what Evelyn said while looking at her face in the mirror. Nothing had changed with his face, what changed was the condition of his body that used to be so gallant was now helpless.

 Jeremy also wanted to look at his wife but unfortunately Evelyn was sitting next to him, he could not clearly look at her. She wanted to say sorry for causing her so much pain.

Evelyn spoke in her ear. “I hope you make a full recovery when I give birth later so that you can give our baby a name, and I will take her home, I will stay with my Dad.”

Jeremy was surprised to hear that, so Evelyn would go home after giving birth? What about her? What does it mean that Evelyn will leave him?

“I have to leave you.”

The deg! Jeremy's heart suddenly stopped. Left him? So Evelyn's gonna leave him?

“I don't want my baby to experience bad things later. I want to live quietly with my baby. I don't know what path you'll choose if you recover later, but I hope you understand my decision, I'll go home with my baby.”

Evelyn's eyes immediately glazed over as she said so. She wants to end her suffering to be Jeremy's wife.

“I think your father will understand my decision. I want to protect my baby. I'm sorry I can't let my son know your world. Don't know, I hope you understand, don't involve anything in my baby. I don't care if you have another life with any woman you like, I just want to protect my baby.”

Jeremy's heart felt very disappointed and sad to hear it, was Evelyn serious about her words? Will you leave her after giving birth? Why does her heart hurt so much?? So hurt.  She usually didn't care about Evelyn's whereabouts, but now the pain was tearing her heart apart. Not angry and upset that Evelyn was going to take their baby, but the pain was accompanied by a sense of regret. He doesn't want his wife to leave.

“I won't care anymore if you get back with Selena or you find a new woman. I wouldn't care. I just want my baby to live a normal and happy life,” Evelyn said with her voice blocked. Actually she felt sad to say it but she had to say it, for the sake of the future of the baby in her stomach. She's willing to lose Jeremy for the happiness of her baby. Although he did not know whether Jeremy could hear his words now or not.

Devastated by Jeremy's feelings, Evelyn's words further distance her from those who love her. His mother, his father, and now his wife is also his son.

Evelyn got up from her seat, holding back the tears that she actually wanted to spill. He hurriedly left the room leaving Jeremy who could not prevent his departure at all.

Jeremy knew his wife was crying, wanting him to hold her and wipe her tears and say lean on my shoulder.

Evelyn went to Jeremy's bedroom, sat on the edge of the bed, looked down and cried. Actually he didn't want to say those words but he had to, had to say them. So that if Jeremy recovers later the man understands and accepts his decision to leave his life. There was no guarantee the man would not return to his world, nothing. There may be many more enemies around Jeremy who will endanger the safety of his baby.

Evelyn's hand wiped away the tears on her cheeks, holding herself back from crying but instead making her sob in solitude.

Selena opened the door of her long-abandoned apartment to Hong Kong. He pulled the suitcase and closed the door again.

Upon entering the living room he was shocked when he saw that there was a figure of a man already sitting on the sofa.

“You! How did you get into my apartment?” he snaps with anger.

The figure of the man who was none other than Ryan, smiled to see the beautiful woman was surprised. He was sitting casually on the sofa with a lit cigar in his hand.

“Do I look like a mafia leader?” tanyakanya.

Selena took off her suitcase, stood staring intently at the man, then smiled faintly.

“What do you mean talk like that? Do you feel like Jeremy?”

“I've taken over Jeremy's business, I'm rich now!”

Selena walked up to Ryan. “So apparently? You're so sure Jeremy won't heal and take it all back?”

Ryan turns off his cigar and wakes up to Selena. The woman always looks attractive in her eyes, but unfortunately not even Selana wants to accompany her in bed.

“Jeremy is aware of his coma!”

“What? Conscious?” Selena was surprised to hear that.

“But you don't be happy just yet. The situation is very severe and if required to choose it looks like Jeremy will choose to die!”

Selena frowned in astonishment. “What do you mean?”

“She was conscious but she was paralyzed! Can't hear, can't talk.” Ryan walked around Selena's tall body, then stopped and brought her lips closer to Selena's ears.

“What more would people want in such conditions besides, die!”

Selena was surprised to hear all that, so Jeremy's condition was so severe after a long coma?

From Selena's ear, Ryan brought her face to Selena's neck and then to her chest, inhaling Selena's perfume fragrance. His passion always roiled every time he saw his sexiness Selena.

“Away from me!” expel Selena.

Ryan laughed and looked at him. “Do you still reject me?”

The man went away and picked up something on the chair that Selena did not notice when she entered her apartment. A large black plastic bag. Ryan lifted it up and then pulled it out.

Selena was surprised to see a lot of money coming out of the plastic and scattered to fall to the floor of her apartment.

“I'm rich now!” said Ryan.
