CH-28 Evelyn Examined by Obstetrician

Jeremy felt uneasy and in disbelief at what he heard from his friend Evelyn. Arriving home, he would extend his hand to help Evelyn get out of her car but then unplugged, why was he so concerned? Evelyn's pregnancy made her go awry.

“I need to talk to you!” he said then went inside the house.

Evelyn followed him listlessly.

“Sit!” jeremy's command by moving his head pointed towards the guest chair, while he also sat across the chair with his body still bare-chested because his shirt was used to wipe Evelyn's tears.

Evelynpun sat down hesitantly on the chair and lowered his head.

Jeremy looked at the woman before him, his eyes especially on Evelyn's stomach.

“Tell me, are you really pregnant?” ask Jeremy.

Evelyn silently did not answer.

“You haven't answered my question!”

“Mm, no, I'm not pregnant!” evelyn answered, lying.

Now that Jeremy was silent, he clasped his hands together on his chest and looked at Evelyn sharply.

“You're talking honestly?” tanyakanya.

“Iya,” replied Evelyn still lowered her head.

Suddenly Jeremy shouted,”Where was my suit?” his head turned towards the open door.

A large tall man entered while giving his suit.

“Take my phone!”

The big tall man picks up the phone that turns out to be in Jeremy's suit pocket, then gives it to Jeremy.

“Ryan!” call Jeremy, look back at the door.

Ryan who was outside immediately entered the room.

“Call the Obstetrician now!”

Hearing Jeremy's words made Evelyn startled and looked at the man.

“Why did you call the obstetrician? I'm not pregnant!”

Jeremy stared intently at Evelyn, while Ryan immediately looked for the mobile number of the obstetrician who could be called right now to Jeremy's house.

Stared like that made Evelyn choose to bow again, she thought hard how to make Jeremy not know if she was pregnant? But by calling the obstetrician it is certain he can not avoid anymore. What would she do if Jeremy found out about her pregnancy?

Jeremy called Bibi to get her shirt and keep her suit and shirt.

I don't know how long Evelyn's been sitting in the chair like it's on trial. The man was just busy calling about his work, until finally the obstetrician arrived with a nurse.

“Quick check on my wife! I wonder if she is pregnant or not?”

“Good Sir!” the doctor replied, then turned to Evelyn who was looking at him. There was no longer any hope of avoiding the Doctor.

“You can use my room!” jeremy said to the doctor, then turned to Evelyn.

“Do not cause trouble! Comein! The doctor will check you!” he said with a ketus.

“Mari Bu!” take the Doctor.

Seeing Evelyn who seemed reluctant to be examined, made Jeremy approach her and grabbed Evelyn's hand to stand up.

Although Evelyn does not want Jeremy to know about her pregnancy, seeing Jeremy's face looking at her sharply, Evelyn wants to stand up and is forced to follow her to Jeremy's room.

The man looked impatiently waiting for the doctor to examine his wife. He deliberately shifted the chair in the room with a strategic position to see the examination. His eyes did not blink staring at the Doctor's every move. There was not the slightest opening for Evelyn to negotiate with the Doctor to lie to Jeremy so as not to say that she was pregnant.

“How?” jeremy asked when he saw that the doctor had finished checking.

The doctor looked at Jeremy.

“My wife is pregnant. Estimates are around 8 weeks, for sure can be done ultrasound in saline hospital,” replied the Doctor.

“That means what?” ask Jeremy.

“Father will soon have a child!”

Jeremy immediately smiled, between shock, disbelief and strange, all amcam feelings appeared in his heart. Then looking at Evelyn who was frowning, she turned sour to see Evelyn's expression so, there was a sense of annoyance because it was clear the reason why Evelyn left home because she wanted to cover up her pregnancy.

Jeremy looked again at the Doctor who walked to the chair table, then sat there writing something on the table.

“This is a recipe for the wife of the Father. Please work together to keep the mother and baby in a healthy state until the time of delivery later,” said the doctor while giving a piece of paper to Jeremy.

“What is this?” Jeremy looked at the paper and read it, he couldn't read the writing on it.

“Recipes of boosters and vitamins, can be redeemed at the pharmacy.”

Jeremy looked at the door.

“Ryan! Here!” his yell.

“Bring this to Pharmacy!” jeremy's orders.

Ryan read the paper and looked at Jeremy.

“Your wife is really pregnant?” ask her.

Ryan remembered Selena. What would Selena do if she knew Evelyn was pregnant with Jeremy's child? Is that woman going to keep expecting Jeremy?

Seeing Ryan who was just silent made Jeremy upset.

“Why are you quiet? Quick go!” snapped it.

Ryan turned to Evelyn who was moving up and sat on her bed. Her gaze met Evelyn's gaze, without saying anything else, she walked out of the room.

Jeremy looked at the doctor.

“So what do you mean by that cooperation? What kind of cooperation?” ask him confusedly.

“Father should also pay attention to the health of mother and child, do not let pregnant women stress. Pregnant women should always be happy, should not be tired, should eat nutritious food,” explained the Doctor.

Jeremy seemed to be frowning, he tried to digest what the Doctor said.

“He will not stress, I have given him a lot of money, he can buy anything he wants, if to buy pregnant milk, I will choose the best pregnant mother milk!” said Jeremy.

The doctor seemed to nod his head and smiled happily at her.

“Then, make pregnant women always happy.”

The doctor looked at Jeremy.

Evelyn still turned her face unwilling to look at the man.
