Jealous

It was a short night for Nina. The night after chatting with Kevin in the restaurant parking lot, Nina opened a phone that she kept in her locker during work. A lot of messages came in, mostly from the group and from his girlfriend since High School, Andre Bagaskara. But there was one message that made him smile to himself.

Suddenly the phone rings. Nina shifted the answer button.

"Hello." Nina answered her phone.

"Hallo, Nin, all day anywhere, I WA gc reply, aqw new phone appointed now." Sound from the phone.

"Sorry ndre, I work all day not hold hp. Afraid of getting angry with seniors." Which turns out to be from Andre, Nina's boyfriend.

"Dear, no papa, I guess why." Andre started to soften.

"Yes, I don't know." Nina replied while holding back her sleepiness.

"Nin, do you really want to continue working there?" Ask Andre.

"Yes, Ndre. Why?" Nina was curious and Andre suddenly asked like that. He had previously paid for work. And Andre didn't bother about that.

"Yes I'm worried."

"Worry why? I cheated?" Nina had already guessed Andre's concern. Her boyfriend is very possessive.

" Tu, you know what, right?" Andre looks like a smile.

" Must to, I'm here the intention of working Ndre, besides guys here may not like the same village girl like me. You know what, right?" Nina said with annoyance.

"Yes, I know baby!" Andre was relieved that Nina had explained again.

" Oh yeah, I'm sleepy to sleep. Hye!" Connect Nina.

"Yes Nin, bye."

Nina fell asleep after putting down her phone. Maybe because of the tired factor or it is already late. There was a WhatsApp notification on her phone, Nina did not wake up at all.

Meanwhile, the sender of the message awaits WA reply from his puja. Pacing in his room. Kevin's house is not too far from the restaurant, so he finished his work back home. Not without reason, but his mother told him to go home. Because he does not want his favorite son to fall into negative things.

The night is getting late but Kevin is restless, his eyes can not be put to sleep. Waiting for WA's reply from Nina, she finally exited the room. At the dinner table, he met his mother.

"Vin, haven't slept?" Seeing kevin hasn't slept yet the mother is curious. Not usually the child stays up. Moreover, the clock shows the number 02.00 in the morning.

"What's wrong?" Ask her mother again. Kevin was silent.

"Say son, if there is a problem, maybe you can give advice or solutions." Follow her mother again.

"Mother, when it's time I'll tell you."

Kevin's mother nodded. He understands his son. Kevin is quiet. He rarely confided or chatted casually with his family. Actually, Kevin used to be humble and easy to get along with anyone. But since the incident 5 years ago made him feel like he lost his identity. Kevin becomes cold, reserved, and rarely open with others. He's the other guy, not the real Kevin.

The Flashback

"We broke up vin!" Like in a lightning strike Kevin jumped to hear the sound of a phone call.

"Why Race? Our marriage is 2 weeks. How did you suddenly ask to break up?" Kevin said with reddened eyes, either holding back tears or holding back anger.
