Married to Old Boy

Married to Old Boy
Fatiguing Day

"Well behind all the mas?" Ask Mbak Anggi to Mas Kevin.

"Yes. I also schedule a break, later let the baby take care of the cashier for a while." Kevin has passed.

"Nin, tonight after work can you just talk for a minute?" Before it actually passed from his desk Mas Kevin asked me.

"Where's Nin?" He asked again because I was dumb. I myself am confused, because the agreement has been with Andre.

"I'll have an appointment with you." I answered at last.

"Oh, boys?" Lazy asked.

"Yes. School's tenant." My lies.

"Yes already." Kevin just left. I don't know why I feel like Mas Kevin doesn't like me meeting Andre. I feel like he's jealous, or I'm the one who's in love. I don't know, obviously my feelings were so comfortable when I was with Mas Kevin. It was different with Andre.

"Nin you're in the same garnish as the base drink huh, I replaced Atikah in the cooking section?" Mbak Anggi split the task.

"Yes, Mother." My answer.

After the magrib the restaurant was so crowded. Some eat on the spot, some are wrapped, and more are delivery orders. Before Magrib, the porsonil was complete. So many restaurants are not so foggy.

"Gurami grilled two, rice three, fried chicken one, drink iced tea three." Kevin read out the visitor's order.

"Ready Mas." All answer compact.

Madam Wati started concocting iced tea. Mas Agus burned two medium-sized guramis. While Mbak Anggi fry a piece of chicken. And I print rice and then I decorate it with fried onions on it. Don't forget the chili I spooned next to him. Then Mas Agus gave two gouramis that had been burned, and I began to garnish them. Two minutes later I put it on a clean tray and brought another child to serve to visitors.

It didn't feel like the night was going so fast. Suddenly the clock showed at 21:30, all the employees started tidying up his base. Including me, I began to clean the scattered cucumber skin and throw it into the trash, then I wiped the table clean. Not ten minutes is all done. I see Madam Wati, she's still busy soaking dirty glasses.

"Here's Ma'am I rinse." I approached Mbak Wati and started rinsing the glass that had been in the soap.

"Oh yes Nin. Is your base clean?" Ask Mbak Wati.

"Udah Ma'am."

Because I helped, Ms. Wati's job was finished. The glass that was dirty was now clean and neatly lined up in place.

"Remain malem-malem to Nin city park? Is it quiet there?" Wati's mother scrunched her forehead.

"You're meeting someone, ma'am." I spoke half a whisper.

"Your boyfriend?" Mama Wati also whispered.

"Rather precisely the former candidate." I laugh.

Ma'am Wati also laughed with my jokes. Until finally Kevin entered the kitchen and followed the others. All lined up in a circle, I was flanked by Mbak Wati and Mbak Anggi.

"Okay, all my friends. Today we have a visitor. Restaurant as well as rame. Turnover exceeds the daily target, so we get a tourism guest bonus plus income that exceeds the target." Kevin explained.

"So how much do we get?" Ask one of the employees.

"Per man gets a hundred thousand." Mas Kevin said while handing out the envelope.

"Alhamdulillah. Can make a puff cost." Kelakar Mas Agus and was greeted with laughter by the others.

"There are many Gus." Shouted Mas Bayu who was sebrang Mas Agus.

"Yes, make a weekly mall with Hanny." Clumsily again.

"Sort of my sister. I brush loe." Mas Kevin suddenly said and stared intently at Mas Agus.

"Yes Vin, I never was young." Mas Agus.

"Kevin sucks, doesn't dare to date girls." Baby talkin.

"Eat him until old does not sell, ntar I stepin new to know the taste of loe." The Canda Mas agus.

"Can't be on them." Shouted Mbak Anggi. All shut up.

"It's for you." Kevin held out a white envelope.

"Thank you for that." I said with a smile.

Everyone has received an envelope. Finally the exhausting day is over. And the bonus is also a lot.
