Driving an Old Car

Archie wakes up from his sleep. He looked at the bed and did not find his wife there. Is Kimmy in the bathroom? Archie walked towards the toilet in his room. There's no one inside. Archie wondered where Kimmy went? Is he having breakfast downstairs? Archie went downstairs and saw his parents having breakfast together without his wife.

"Where's Kimmy?" Archie asked Nino.

"He's gone. Didn't he tell you?" Nino asked while slicing the meat on her hot plate.

"No," Archie answered honestly.

"How's this? You're her husband, you don't know the wife goes to work" Tifanny criticized.

"I'm still asleep," Archie yawned. I honestly feel sleepy this morning.

"You are so romantic! Surely Kimmy didn't want to wake her beloved husband," Nino smiled sweetly.

"Truly a loving husband and wife" Tifanny clapped her hands with a carefree smile.

Archie shook his head at the words of his parents.

"What's he riding?" Archie immediately ran to the front yard and checked his car parked in the garage. She was afraid Kimmy would use her car. However, Archie's car is still perfectly parked.

"Kimmy used his own car. Before leaving, he went to uncle Kai's house to get his car, "Tifanny replied.

"Why didn't Mama say that from earlier?" Archie cut his lips.

"Back to work, accompany Kimmy to buy a new car! You're her husband, it's appropriate to give Kimmy the things she needs. Papa will be very embarrassed by Uncle Kai and Alula. Surely they thought Kimmy wasn't noticed here," Nino looked at Archie seriously.

"Anyone who buys. Archie doesn't know what car he wants" Archie bluntly said. To be honest, he did not know about his wife and what Kimmy likes and dislikes.

"Why papa? Is it dad Kimmy's husband? Who is her husband?" Nino looked upset.

"Yes, Archie later invited Kimmy to buy a new car," Archie relented when he saw the look on Nino's face turned irritated.

"Then I get ready to go to the office" Archie passed from his parents and went back into his room.

Archie rushed to take a shower. After taking a shower, he wore the suit he used to go to work. Archie put a tie around his neck while staring at his reflection in the mirror.

"It's so hard!" Archie's still fighting me with his tie.

"Like this alone," Archie put on the tie with the originals.

As Archie looked at his reflection in the mirror, he recalled the events of last night. He and Kimmy were at close range when Archie forced Kimmy to get out of the car.

"She's beautiful indeed" Archie reimagined Kimmy's face so close to her last night. For the first time Archie explored Kimmy's face.

"She's pretty, but I don't like her, '" Archie hastily erased her memory. Archie immediately grabbed his briefcase and came out of the room to join Tifanny and Nino at the dinner table.

Elsewhere, Kimmy was driving to her psychology clinic. He kept smiling while driving his red car.

"I miss you so much!" Kimmy swiped his favorite car. He misses driving his own car. Kimmy plays her favorite song from the flash she always carries.

When Kimmy stepped on his brake pedal, the brake pedal was light. Kimmy's car did not stop or decrease. Kimmy started to panic, especially when it smelled like burning rubber.

"Geez! Looks like this car brake blong!!" Kimmy keeps stepping on the brake pedal of the car.

"How is this?" Kimmy's panicking. He avoided some of the vehicles in front of him. Kimmy turned his car to the side of the highway. His car continued to run uncontrollably on top of the descending rumputan.

"I don't want to die now!" Kimmy removed the seat belt that was coiled around her body. The woman decided to get out of her car.

Kimmy then quickly opened the car door and jumped from the car that was speeding very fast.

"Aww!" Kimmy screeched as she felt her whole body ache. Blood dripped from both his elbows and also his knees.

Kai walked into Nino's house panting and half-running. The middle-aged man seemed to be already wearing his work suit. But what brings Kai this early to Nino's house?

"Nino's? Archie?" Kai shouted. His voice filled the ceiling of the house.

"Kai, what's wrong?" Nino who saw Kai's panicked face stood up from her seat.

"Papa Kai?" Archie stood up too. They simultaneously stopped breakfast activities on that peaceful morning.

"Did Kimmy take his car?" Kai's voice seemed to tremble. Everyone in the house felt a great panic from Kai's tone.

"Yes. Kimmy said she had to go to her clinic early in the morning and would ride in her car. What's up, Kai?" Nino looked impatient. He approached the iron with a worried face.

"Kimmy's car brakes blong after being used by me. I haven't been able to fix it yet" Kai rubbed his hair violently.

"Geez!" Tifanny closed her mouth.

"You mean, Kimmy is now driving a car with brakes on?" Archie seemed to clarify.

"Yes," Kai's voice seemed to tremble.

"Kai, why didn't you say that from earlier?" Nino glared at his eyes.

"Kimmy!" Archie took the keys to his car and left. Archie drives his car to Kimmy's clinic.

"You just wait at home, baby!" Pinta Nino to Tifanny who wants to go find her daughter-in-law.

"alright. Tell me soon," Tifanny held Nino's hand. He was so worried about how Kimmy was doing right now. Kai and Nino immediately run and ride the other car to find Kimmy.

"I don't love you, but I hope you're okay. No matter how we are bound by a strong relationship, it is marriage. I'm in charge of you" Archie muttered. He drove his car at high speed.

As Archie passed through a descending street, he looked to the side and saw people crowding. There are also ambulances and medics. Archie immediately parked the car. Archie hoped his guess wasn't right.

"Excuse me, what's going on?" Archie asked someone at the location.

"There was an accident, sir."

"Accident?" Archie's eyes are round. He immediately ran towards the ambulance that continued to turn on the siren.

"Is the victim a woman?" Archie asked worriedly.

"Yes. Her name is Miss Kimberly Allen" said a medical officer who checked Kimmy's identity.

"Geez, Kimmy!" Archie immediately ran over and opened the ambulance door.

His eyes were bought when he saw Kimmy closing his eyes and covered with a white cloth.

"Kimmy? Why is it like this?" Archie sat down next to Kimmy.

"What should I say to both your parents and your brother? Your brother Jasper must have killed me because I couldn't take care of you. Kimmy, I'm sorry!" Archie's voice sounded raucous.

"Even if we don't get married out of love, but I'm already like a loser who failed to protect his wife" Archie said again in a choked voice.

"Wake, Kim! I don't love you, but I don't want you to die" Archie shook his wife's body.

"Why are you so noisy?" Kimmy opened her eyes and looked at Archie in annoyance.
