Married To Chef Jutek

Married To Chef Jutek
Worries of the Mother

That day Melati felt very uneasy. Since yesterday Rega has had no news. He was busy wanting to come home, but Ms. Karsih did not let him. It is too dangerous to let a pregnant woman seem to pass such an ugly and slippery path.

"Mom, I really can't just keep quiet like this. My husband must not be calm" said Melati sobbed. Her tears fell down the river. My heart is too long with fear and concern for my husband.

"Mom knows how you feel, son. But think of the baby in your womb. Just be patient a little more. Your sister-in-law must be trying to find a way out. Trust him, son."

Melati bowed in. His sobs sounded restrained. His hands were stroking his belly which was beginning to bulge.

"Here you go, get some rest, take care of your health." Ms. Karsih led Melati's body to lie down. Then enveloped his thin body. "Think of your son, son. Don't stress and try to be happy." Melati. Bu Karsih passed away leaving Melati who was sad.

"Mas, I'm going home. You how are you? I miss, Mas!"

In the middle of the road full of mud Rega and Pak Karso pushing his motorcycle. Last night it rained heavily, the ground mixed with mud on one so that they had difficulty continuing the journey.

"What is this?" ask Rega with frown.

"If we continue the journey is still long, Deck. Mending us behind the back. We can pass if it's hot tomorrow, so the road is a little dry. If it's like this we're hard to get through." Rega exhaled a rough breath. Hopefully Melati can understand him.

Finally they rested for a while in the cottage on the side of the road. After eating food and drinking they will turn back home. Rega's mind was not calm, he remembered Juwita's words at that time. It will even try its hardest to make Arjuna turn away. When Mr. Karso was busy eating, Rega was still staring.

"Son!" Mr. Karso touched Rega's shoulder.

"Ahh, yes, sir!" sahut stammer.

"Take it, don't forget it. It'll starve."

"I did, Sir. Alright."

Rega came to eat after Mr. Karso was done.

"Try not daydreaming, of course it's finished like I am now." Rega just smiled faintly.

"Mama, Revi is sad. Mama jasmine long gone. If mama Melati know mama has healed, surely mama. Where did Mama Melati go, Ma?" revi asked his mother that night. Juwita smiled cynically while playing the tip of her son's hair. He didn't answer anything.

"Sleep, Son. Tomorrow we go to school, yeah!" Revi nodded. Juwita pulled a blanket over half her son's body, then looked straight ahead. His lips turned sideways imagining everything he had planned had been neatly arranged flawlessly.

Early in the morning after taking Revi to school Juwita visited Mama Arjuna. Ms. Hertini was shocked, but tried to act normal. He was also happy to see the change in Juwita. Back in High School, their relationship was pretty close. Because juwita almost every day to play at Arjuna's house.

"What do you want to cook, Ma?" juwita asked as she looked at Ms. Hertini, sitting on the dining table chair while cutting carrots and potatoes.

"Ah, Mama usually cut gini vegetables. It's still cooking."

"So, Mama's cooking is a champion. So old times' miss, Ma." They laugh together.

Ms. Hertini did not ask much about Juwita's return from the hospital. He was afraid to offend the woman. If Juwita asked Ms. Hertini replied, and so on. While Juwita continues to try to get closer to Bu Hertini. He didn't waste that opportunity.

"Sir Doctor? Where is Mas Arjuna? Why are you two just going home? Didn't you guys get to town? Is Mas Arjuna okay? What about his job? What do you say he's not worried about me?"

"Mbak .." call Rega slowly. His eyes stared at the impatient jasmine face waiting for an answer from him. "Sorry, we haven't been to town. The roads are so ugly, and we can't get out of the woods."

Hearing that tears just escaped her beautiful eyes. Jasmine sat on a wooden chair made of rattan. Miss Karsih who saw him felt pity and sat down to get closer. Rega felt guilty for not being able to do much.

"Son, patience. Pray for your husband from here. InshaAllah everything is fine." Ms. Karsih patted Melati on the shoulder. Melati smiled faintly while biting her own lips. She was so worried about her husband. She was too afraid that her husband was thinking such things. Especially now that he is with Rega. It is still clear in memory how Arjuna was once angry because of Rega. He doesn't want it to happen again.

"Yes, Ma'am .. "bluffy thin lips said. Rega turned his gaze and headed for the well behind the house to clean up.

Arjuna and several police officers were at the scene of the scene where Rega's car was found. The man looked frustrated and occasionally hit the front of the car with his hands clenched. He was upset why it was so difficult to find his sister and wife.

"Master, this is the last outfit that Young Master and Madam wore." Gilsa pulls out a bag containing Rega and Melati's clothes at that time.

He picked it up with trembling hands then examined the contents slowly. Sure enough the clothes were torn in some parts. Arjuna lent him an eye while squeezing the pouch desperately.

"Is there a recent report?" arjuna asked.

"Still in the investigation, sir."

Arjuna's body decays, sitting on the grass with his back resting on the car. His head looked up with his eyes closed.

"Sir, patience. God willing we can find Mr and Madam." Arjuna just shut up. He tries to keep thinking positively even though worries fill the heart cavity. After a long silence, Arjuna stood up and walked away. Gilsa quickly followed in her footsteps from behind.

That night Ms. Hertini began to worry about Rega's whereabouts. He was nervous and felt unsettled. Why does Arjuna seem to cover something from her. While lying in bed he stared at the photo of Rega on his phone. Without realizing it, tears fell to his cheeks. Ms. Hertini tried calling Rega's number a few times, but it was always out of reach. Finally he decided to call Arjuna to ask where the real Rega is.

After finding Arjuna's name immediately he pressed the green button to contact him.

"Hello, Assalamu'alaikum, Ma."

"Waalaikumsalam, Son," said Bu Hertini in a hoarse voice.

"Why Mom? Mama cough again?"

"No, Son. Mama misses your sister Rega. Is he still long out of town?"

Silent.

"Juna, don't lie to Mama anymore. Where's Rega, son?"

"Well, Juna doesn't understand. Who's lying, Ma?"

"Mama feels you're hiding something from Mama Darling." Arjuna laughed a little. But he had to do it, even though his heart was also hit by anxiety and despair. "Son, where's Rega?"
