Marriage Becomes Love

Marriage Becomes Love
Chapter 111 About Renata

The night had greeted, the cold burst in through the hospital air vents, coupled with the gurgling rain, making this night feel more gripping.

In a very typical room with the smell of drugs, a woman a woman who was lying weakly on a brangkar.

His eyes were puffy, his face paled, his mind floated to and fro. Why is good destiny never on his side? Is this a punishment for his actions that always hurt others? Even the only man who was always there for her left her.

After hearing the doctor's diagnosis of his illness, his world collapses instantly. His world had indeed collapsed, but this time it had completely collapsed and would never be able to stand up straight again. His heart was broken.

"Cancer of blood (leukemia)," he said bitterly when he remembered the words of the doctor who diagnosed him a few hours ago.

"From the results of the examination, you have leukemia and have entered stage two."

The deg!

"What, Doc? Leukemia?"

The doctor who was often accosted with the Eagle doctor nodded. "Leukemia occurs because the cells in the bone marrow do not develop normally, different from white blood cells that will die, leukaemia cells continue to live but do not help the body fight infection and instead suppress other blood cells. As the number increases, leukaemia cells will enter the bloodstream and spread to other limbs. These abnormal cells can block normal cells in the body from functioning normally" the doctor explains.

"But, Doc? Why could? I've never had any symptoms?"

"Do you often have headaches and bleeding in your nose?"

The woman nodded.

"That's two symptoms of some of the symptoms of people affected by blood cancer. Other symptoms are easily tired, fever and chills, nausea and vomiting, constipation or difficulty defecating, sore throat, frequent night sweats, weight loss, etc, red spots appear on the skin, joint and bone pain, shortness of breath, and so forth."

"Good night, Renata."

Hearing someone greet him instantly make the woman's daydream–Renata scum, he turned his head. "Malem, Doc," he said flatly.

The doctor was–Elang smiled, he also sat his body in a chair that was next to Renata's cage.

"I brought food for you, I know, hospital food that tastes bad. So I bring it for you," said Eagle while opening a paper bag containing food. He brought the food from his home. The man prepared it too

"I'm ready, you eat, okay?"

Renata remained silent.

"Oh, you want me to bribe, huh?"

The Eagle's hand raised a spoonful of food and brought it closer to Renata's mouth, but the woman remained silent.

"Why?"

The eagle just sighed softly because Renata never answered him.

"You're crazy, huh?" asked the Eagle with a face full of surprise.

"Just because I'm alive again, I don't have anyone else. Mama, papa, my friends, even the man I love so much pun–hiks, hix." The woman poured out her grief with tears in her eyes. "So let me just die." Renata again took the knife from the Eagle's hand, but before that the Eagle had already thrown it away.

"God!" The eagle looked at Renata cynically. "You think... After you die, everything is done? You think all your actions will not be accounted for later up there? With God giving you this kind of disease makes you aware of all the mistakes you have made, making you even better. I can't believe your mind is that low!" said the Eagle with a sharp eye.

Renata bowed his head, his hands hugging his knees, covering his face between his two knees. "From the beginning, my life has suffered enough" he said slowly.

Renata is a broken home child, his parents already have their own lives, papa and his mother divorced when Renata was in elementary school. Renata goes with her father to live abroad, while her mother is married again and does not care about Renata.

When stepping on the high school bench, Papa Renata remarried, from the beginning of marriage, stepmother Renata has shown a sense of dislike for the girl, not infrequently her stepmother often tortured Renata when her husband was not there.

Not strong enough to withstand the torture of the stepmom, Renata also chose to live in Indonesia, living alone. Even so, his papa always sent him money every month, which is why Renata never lacked material. But it is not only the material that Renata wants, he wants the attention and affection of the people he loves.

In Jakarta, studying at one of the famous universities, that was the beginning of his meeting with Rayhan, the man he loved so much.

Renata's life was filled with happiness when she was with Rayhan. Rayhan always gives her happiness and comfort even though their relationship is not approved by Rayhan's parents.

Until in the end Renata was greedy and betrayed. Lonely, he had an affair with Smith, a Dutchman because Rayhan was too busy with his work and college.

Days passed, Renata finally married the bule from the windmill country. However, after a year of marriage, she separated from Smith, because her husband betrayed her. Maybe that's what I mean by karma.

Slowly the Eagle held Renata's hand, then grabbed the woman into his arms.

Renata spills his grief in the chest of the thirty-year-old doctor's field. The eagle was silent, occasionally rubbing gently on the back of that woman who was still crying, he tried to calm the woman.

"If you don't want to live for someone else, at least live for yourself. Be a better person, because happiness is what we do. Never feel alone. I will help you," said the Eagle

A few minutes later, Renata let go of her embrace.

"Sorry, thank you for encouraging me," said Renata as she took off her embrace, she looked at the Eagle Doctor with a faint smile.

The Eagle Doctor returned Renata's smile, then wiped Renata's tears with his hands.

"Well, the look in your eyes reminds me of someone" said the man.
