Ding! Dong!
The sound of the bell made Sebastian walk open the door for Dayana and Arturo who had come to support his dinner invitation at that time.
"Come in." Sebastian filled in, making way for the couple to get in.
There was already Anabela who was serving her homemade dinner to the table. He threw a friendly smile at Dayana and Arturo who started to land his butt on the chair.
"If Sebastian hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known you were married, Dayana," Anabela said, sitting next to Sebastian.
Dayana glanced at Arturo carefully. "Art, it's Anabela Hoover."
Arturo shakes hands with Anabela. "Arturo Camucho."
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Camuchos."
"Okay. Maybe we can start dinner? All this was made by Anabela. She's good at cooking but I don't know what's going to be like for dinner tonight" Sebastian joked.
They also had dinner quietly. But Sebastian was a little disturbed by Dayana's attitude that continued to be silent and even ate like he was not excited at all.
"Mrs. Camucho, you look familiar. Have we met?" anabela asked who was trying to break the silence between them.
"I've been to Tobias King's birthday and seen you with your husband there too" replied Arturo, who left Sebastian speechless, as well as Anabela.
"A-ah, you've seen my husband turned out," he muttered lowered his head and went back to eating in a different manner.
"I know Jonathan Reeves. I met him once to talk about buying a house in Brooklyn" Arturo said.
"Do you have a house there?" sebastian asked.
Arturo nodded.
"Why don't you live in your house now?" ask Anabela curious.
"I'll stay there with my wife. We'll probably move in one more week."
Arturo's words suddenly made Dayana suddenly turn her head until she woke up from her seat. He realized the astonished gazes of Sebastian, Anabela, even Arturo were directed at him.
"A-ah, I'm sorry." Dayana is twitching her temples. "Mrs. Reeves, can I use your toilet for a second?"
"Sure," said Sebastian. His gaze continued to lead to Dayana's departure because the woman was acting strangely since earlier.
Arriving at the toilet, Dayana looked at herself in the mirror. He took a deep breath to calm the feeling.
Asking Arturo to part with him was not easy. Especially after hearing the earnestness of Arturo who even wanted to occupy a house that had been purchased from a long time with him, making Dayana even harder to make that choice.
"Okay. I'll talk about all this with her" Dayana's determination tried to strengthen her heart which was starting to melt.
Dinner is over.
Dayana and Arturo are ready to go to his unit. Arturo raised a scrutinizing gaze at Dayana who was acting uncharacteristically.
"You got a problem?" arturo asked after they set foot in the residential unit.
"No. I don't have any problems. I'm just. I'm exhausted," Dayana then waltzed into the room.
Arturo's not stupid. What was the reason Dayana was exhausted when the woman just stayed at home without any heavy work?
There was something Dayana was hiding, she thought guessing.
The next day, Arturo, who had just woken up, found Dayana not beside him. Even the woman was not in any apartment room until she did not pick up the call at all.
Arturo is getting anxious. He almost went to search before his eyes found a piece of paper stuck in the refrigerator.
^^^ I went to my parents' house first.^^^
^^^Don't miss me.^^^
^^^Dayana^^
Without Arturo knowing, Dayana is now standing in front of an apartment door. Instead of pressing on the bell, he banged on the door loudly while shouting, "REBECCA! OUT!"
There was no word with a bang, his hand now pressed the bell several times until the door was opened by Rebecca who looked like she had just woken up wearing thin lingerie.
"I want-" Dayana's protest sentence was cut off when she saw a man from behind Rebecca coming out past her just like that.
"Have you slept with that guy?" point him towards the man's departure. "Damn! You're doing public lies, Bec."
Rebecca pulls Dayana into her unit so they can talk quietly without fear of being caught by the media or anyone else out there.
"What are you here for? Just disturb!"
Dayana tried to calm her feelings first.
"If I part with Arturo, you promise not to bother Miley?"
"Sure."
"One more. Be honest with me, Bec. You set me up in a brothel and spread the word?"
"You're too much, Bec. You shouldn't be doing this because you made Arturo with me. So if Arturo and I are like this, don't blame me! Cry alone for your stupidity that just wants to keep your bullshit virgin stamp!" dayana exclaimed high before finally coming out with an irritated look.
...----------------...
Dayana sat on a chair with a large umbrella in front of a cafe while enjoying a cold drink. He waited for someone who had now appeared without any permission to sit on an empty seat in front of him.
"Well, did you realize you wanted to come back to me?"
Dayana put down the drink. "Never."
Damien leaned back casually, quite disappointed by that short answer. "Why did you ask me to meet?"
"You're saying your uncle has an agency with top models in France?"
Damien nodded casually then took Dayana's drink for granted to gulp down.
"I'll ask for your help" Dayana said rather hard-heartedly, let alone to her former lover himself.
"You said you didn't love me, but you needed me."
"Come, Damien. I even needed a salon repairman to cut my hair. Does that mean I love them?"
Damien just chuckled and then went back to sipping Dayana's drink.
"I need your help. But that help will come when I need it emergency. This is just one option. Just in case I... Yeah, he did something stupid, "his great-grandson Damien doesn't understand.
"Can you put a friend of mine in there?" His request is hopeful. "He's also a good model. He will work well because this is his dream. You want to, right?"
"Wow. Look at this!" Damien laughed a little. "I've never seen you whine for anyone else like this."
"Stop teasing me, Damien. I'm serious!"
"Okay. Anything you want, Ma Cheri," he said, winking one eye.
A day waiting for news from Dayana until Arturo is not focused on his work while in the office. But when she came home to the apartment, the woman was suddenly there trying to cook something in the kitchen.
"Hi, Art!" sapa turned. A wide, sweet smile was reflected on Dayana's lips wearing a gray apron.
"Oh, God!" Arturo walked quickly to grab Dayana's body into his arms.
Dayana tried to hold back the tightness because the man's embrace was quite tight as if to crush her body.
"Art, you're strangling me" Dayana said.
"Sorry." Arturo loosened his arms and watched Dayana from head to bottom.
"Where have you been? You haven't called me all day."
Dayana pulled out the note she had taped to the refrigerator. "You see? It says don't miss me. I went to see Mom and Dad for a second."
"You were suddenly not there when I woke up. I thought-"
"I made you dinner," interrupted Dayana who turned around to re-cook the soup.
Arturo hugged Dayana from behind, leaning her chin on her shoulder while occasionally kissing the side of her face. It made Dayana giggle and nag Arturo.
A very beautiful night with the warmth of love between two people who combine love. Now, Dayana just stared at Arturo who was sleeping so soundly like a baby. His hand caressed the small side of that resolute face so that both of his blue eyes were open.
"See what you like, hmm?" arturo Goda with a low, heavy voice.
"I like a handsome face," Dayana muttered cupped the side of Arturo's face that looked down upon her. "Do you love me?"
Arturo paused for a moment to find out why Dayana suddenly asked that.
"Yes, I do."
"You're gonna give me whatever I want?"
Arturo's two eyebrows swooped. "What's wrong with you?"
"Jawab it."
"alright. Yeah, I'll give you whatever you want."
Dayana smiled with satisfaction. He increasingly tightened his embrace on Arturo's body and arranged the head to comfortably lie on the chest of his field.
"About the house in Brooklyn... I seriously. I'll take you to stay there" Arturo said with a soft hand stroking Dayana's arm.
"I deliberately bought it to live with my wife one day. And now, I'm with him. We can move there to make a new life" he added. But Dayana was silent with a pensive look at the wall.
"Where?" call Arturo because there is not the slightest response from the woman in the room.
"What's? Sorry, I just fell asleep. So. don't listen to you too much."
Arturo pulled out a blanket to cover the bodies of the two who were not far apart. He pulled Dayana's body and closed his eyes to sleep.
"Let's go to sleep" he asked.
