"So you're an actress and a model?" ingrid asked who seemed interested in revealing herself to Rebecca as the three of them gathered in the dining room.
"Yes, ma'am." Rebecca smiled beautifully.
"I'm sorry for lacking updates about you. I didn't expect my son's wife to have an older sister who's a beautiful model like you."
"Thank you, Mrs. Camuchos. You're also very pretty. I didn't expect Arturo to have a mother as beautiful as you."
"You could have." Ingrid chuckles. "Arturo's sister, Olivia, is eager to become a model and actress. Unfortunately he got a lot of rejections because his acting was considered less good. Can you help her learn, Miss Harvey?"
"Sure. I'll be happy to help Olivia's wishes."
In the middle of that conversation, Dayana just fell silent awkwardly and felt she was just a mosquito repellent there. But in retrospect, Rebecca should be closer to Ingrid than she is now.
Chequek!
The door sounded open. Dayana wakes up to see Arturo enter the dining room. The man's blue eyes were immediately directed at the figure of Rebecca who was now following up from sitting down.
"Arturo.." shrieked Rebecca with a longing gaze.
"Mom, are you here alone?" arturo asked trying to ignore Rebecca's sad gaze at him just now. He bent down to give a kiss on Ingrid's cheek.
"Olivia couldn't attend because of a meeting with her friends" Ingrid said.
Arturo is now walking closer to Dayana who seems confused. Unexpectedly, a kiss landed on Arturo's cheek before the man chose to sit in the middle seat.
"You didn't tell me that Dayana had an older sister" Ingrid said.
Arturo smiled faintly. "I didn't get to because he's busy, too. Let's eat."
Dinner was quite tense for Dayana herself. Seeing Arturo near Rebecca made Dayana restless and anxious. But it seems Arturo is trying to be calm, as if he has nothing to do with Rebecca other than just being a sister-in-law.
After dinner, Dayana is tasked to be a good wife in front of Ingrid by cleaning the kitchen and all the dirty dishes although in fact it is rarely done.
"I'll take Rebecca first" Arturo said.
"Be careful on the road, Rebecca." Ingrid hugs Rebecca.
Dayana stared at Arturo and Rebecca's departure in her foaming hands and washed the dishes.
Meanwhile, Arturo and Rebecca just kept quiet along the passageway until they finally got into the elevator.
"Why haven't you raised my call all this time? You still mad at me?" rebecca asked when she got a chance with Arturo in the elevator.
"There's nothing more we need to talk about. Don't keep calling me" Arturo said with cold water.
Rebecca landed one of her hands on Arturo's arm. "Art, I'm sorry about our marriage. I'll come back to you when it's all over. I'll slowly tell the media that we're lovers who love each other."
"I'm Dayana's husband. Your own sister. You don't have to explain anything to everyone anymore because you explained my position in your interview."
Rebecca didn't just give up. He tiptoed while pulling Arturo's neck so he could kiss her lips. Darling, Arturo took Rebecca's hand off her and straightened her head so that the two of them's faces moved away from each other.
"I'm not yours, Rebecca. I belong to Dayana. I warned you not to do anything else just now if you didn't want to hurt your own sister. I love her and I don't want anyone to hurt my wife, including her brother."
Ting!
Elevator door opens. Arturo was still staring at Rebecca with a different look, no more love in it. It was even a cold look that was so obvious on his face.
Realizing her whereabouts were not warmly welcomed, Rebecca stepped out of the elevator. He turned to look at Arturo who chose to stay in place until the door closed again.
"Damn!" rebecca grew frustrated as she walked out of the apartment building.
He thought Arturo would return the longing when they met like just now. But it looks like the man has really changed.
Rebecca stared intently outside as she was already inside the taxi. His thoughts now lead to the one person who might make Arturo change as he is now.
Dayanas.
...----------------...
Dayana moved her eyes following the figure of Arturo walking into the room. The man's roar looked serious after delivering Ingrid. Especially when he appeared after dropping off Rebecca earlier, Dayana did not dare to invite the man to talk in the slightest.
He had a warm drink which he sipped until half was left. Dayana wants to talk to Arturo first.
"You seem to be in a cold war with Rebecca. Do you always do that?"
Arturo turned his head while taking off the buttons on his shirt. "Why did you let him in?"
"You need to talk about all this. Wouldn't it be nice if... the two of you met in a quiet place then mended the relationship and got back together?"
Arturo looked down with an indecipherable look that made Dayana misbehave and feel guilty saying that.
"You told me to meet him?"
Dayana looked the other way. "I'm just trying to give advice."
All buttons Arturo shirt is now loose so that it opens showing part of his chest and muscular stomach.
"Okay, Miss Harvey. Here's the deal," Arturo said staring haughtily and giving a sense of dominance that could make Dayana tremble.
"I'll meet and talk to your sister the way you want..."
Dayana was satisfied to hear that answer, but it seemed that Arturo's sentence was not finished yet.
"... But on the condition that you come with me for my honeymoon using that ticket."
"What?" Dayana's forehead wrinkled deep.
"If you don't accept that condition, I won't do what you suggested just now either."
"But... Honeymoon?" Dayana ruffled waist. "Is it because we slept together yesterday, you feel like this marriage is real?"
Dayana smiled miris. "Come, Mr. Camuchos. I've even slept with a lot of guys, not just you. I have no intention of being your wife either. You-not-tipaku. That's it!"
"The type, you're not the kind of woman I want to be either."
"Then it's clear. Why are we on our honeymoon?"
"To make you do your job. I've given you whatever you want, Miss Harvey. It's your turn to work now. It's my mother's wish for us to leave anyway, not me."
Dayana breathed a rough breath. "alright. I'm gonna go. But you promised to see Rebecca, yeah. Just be careful if you don't see him!"
"Look at it later" said Arturo walking towards the bathroom with a shirt that he had removed completely from the body.
"You wanna come?" haggle Arturo suddenly with fingers pointing towards the bathroom.
"What do you mean?" Both of Dayana's hands crossed in front of her chest with a look of horror.
"Don't exaggerate. I've even seen it all. You're so embarrassed I took a bath together" Decih Arturo.
"Hey, you really suck!"
Arturo's two broad shoulders were raised casually with his legs moving backwards into the bathroom. She only meant to tease Dayana for wanting to hear her scolding.
The night is getting late.
Dayana awoke from her sleep so that a quiet state of welcome. There was no Arturo, but the doors of the open workspace made Dayana set foot on the floor to be sure of something.
"You're a game designer?" asked Dayana who was leaning on the side of the open door.
Arturo, who had been focusing on computers, now turned his gaze to Dayana.
"Why are you awake? Your sleep isn't good because I'm not next to you?"
Dayana throws a mocking smile. "You're overconfident, sir."
"I'll talk to him tomorrow" Arturo said, sharing his focus on what he's doing right now. "So you should come with me for my honeymoon."
"Wow. You can't wait to honeymoon with me" Dayana sneered. "I'm so sorry that you were supposed to go with Rebecca."
Arturo's movements suddenly stopped. He got up while slightly tidying up the workbench to end his activities.
Dayana's body leaning casually at the door suddenly tensed up looking at Arturo who was starting to step straight at her.
"You think I also like honeymooners far away to people's land just to get laid? We can do that here."
Dayana's legs retreated slightly as Arturo was already standing tall in front of her. Dayana's mind became unclear especially when Arturo was now holding both arms.
"You're blocking my way" he whispered silently.
Dayana dumbfoundedly looked at Arturo who passed her just like that after being satisfied with teasing.
"That damn guy!" pissed off.
