Facing her in-laws made Ziko suddenly anxious and agitated at the same time let alone get the all-questioned look that Daffa gave her. It had been about five minutes the two were sitting opposite, but Daffa still had not let out his voice and just remained silent while staring at his daughter-in-law.

Actually Ziko already knew what to ask, but she would wait until her in-laws asked by themselves and now Ziko just stayed where she was. Long enough in a state of silence Ziko felt the atmosphere increasingly tense when Daffa cleared his throat slowly and let out his voice.

Alright Ziko it's time.

"So the morning when I picked up Devina I saw her eyes were puffy and when I asked her she said she was scolded by the lecturer and cried for fear of getting unsatisfactory grades, was that true?" Ask Daffa

Ziko was silent with her heart beating very fast, she thought Devina had said everything turned out to be wrong Devina was lying.

But, Ziko couldn't lie she had to be honest because this was indeed her fault.

"No, Pa Devina lied." Ziko said as she looked up and looked into her in-laws eyes

Sighing his breath slowly Daffa had suspected that his son was lying because even though he was sad or crying because the Lecturer would not get so swollen.

"Then what happened? Tell me that." Daffa said

Ziko was silent for a moment she averted her gaze and sighed softly before looking back at her in-laws.

"There was a slight misunderstanding between Ziko and Devina yesterday Pa." Said Ziko slowly

"So, she's crying because you two have a problem?" Daffa said sure

"Yes, but we've made up and the problem's over." Ziko

"I know this might be too privacy, but what's the matter?" Ask Daffa

"Devina's friend on campus has been trying to approach her for a long time even the person had lied to get close to Devina...."

"Well I understand Ziko, you're jealous right?" Daffa said

Ziko gave a short nod in response and said the last incident where Raga hugged Devina and made Ziko so angry that she left with Gio at night. Hearing that Daffa fell silent and Ziko did the same, she no longer spoke until her in-laws started saying something and apologizing.

"I'm sorry Pa for making Devina cry so." Ziko said sincerely

"You know I don't like seeing Devina cry, do you?" Daffa said

Ziko just nodded her head in response.

"Didn't you believe in Devina? Why do I have to do that? You yourself know how much Devina loves you Ziko." Daffa said

"It's not that Pa I believe in Devina, but yesterday I just needed time." Said Ziko slowly

"Now you guys have really no problem?" Daffa said

Ziko nodded surely in response.

"The night after I got home I was sorry for Devina and we've really improved Pa." Ziko

"All right, give me the man's cell phone number." The word Daffa was instantly answered with a nod by Ziko

After that they both fell silent and since Ziko was really pounding, she was afraid that more than that Ziko was afraid that Daffa would not allow Devina to come home with her.

"I hope something like this won't happen again Devina will never turn away from you, she loves you." Daffa said

"Yes Pa"

"Don't let something like this happen again Ziko because I can't see Devina crying that way." Daffa said

Once again Ziko nodded her head in understanding.

"Once again something like this happens I'll take Devina home." Daffa said

"Ziko promised something like this won't happen again." Ziko

"That's all I want to say." Daffa said

Ziko gave a short nod and together with her in-laws they got up from their seats. Just opening the door and wanting to get out of the living room both were shocked by Devina who was standing in front of the door.

Devina's eyes looked at the two alternately and then stopped for a long time at Ziko she looked at her husband with a face that was difficult to interpret.

"Why is Vina here?" Daffa's question made Devina now look at her Daddy

Devina shook her head slowly in response.

"Daddy just had Ziko talk instead of fighting don't be afraid and Devina never lie to Daddy again." Daffa said

"Vina doesn't lie." Devina

"Ziko you go down first I want to talk to Devina for a minute." Daffa said

Ziko simply nodded obediently then stepped her feet down and left Devina there along with her Daddy.

"Here come Daddy's gonna talk." Daffa said

"Why lie to Daddy?" Ask Daffa

"Not lying." Devina said slowly

"Devina, why lie to Daddy? Ziko told me everything." Daffa said

"Fearful"

"Why afraid?" Ask Daffa with gentleness

"Daddy will be angry with Ziko." Devina

"Why can't Daddy be angry?" Ask Daffa

"Ziko is not wrong." Devina

Daffa sighed softly then rubbed Devina's head fondly.

"Daddy just talked to Ziko and asked her why you were crying." Daffa said

"Ziko isn't Daddy's fault." Said Devina again

"Don't ever lie to Daddy again." Daffa said

"Yes not"

"Don't be sad Daddy didn't snap or hit Ziko earlier we just talked." Daffa said

Devina gave a short nod and hugged her Daddy from the side making Daffa smile and rub his head.

Oh my God, this girl loves Ziko.

Being in Devina's room alone Ziko stared straight ahead with her occasional sighing softly, she was lucky that Daffa was not angry with her and allowed Devina to stay home with her. Really after this Ziko will never make Devina cry again let alone know that Devina lied to her Daddy.

Whether what had made Ziko suddenly in disbelief and made Devina cry so, she was indeed very outrageous.

When the sound of the door opening, Ziko looked up and she could see Devina smiling at her and running to her. His wife climbed into the bed and hugged Ziko tightly, forcing Ziko to close her eyes.

"Daddy didn't get mad at Ziko, did he?" Devina said as she let go of her embrace and looked at Ziko

Ziko smiled and shook her head slowly in response.

"Ziko isn't angry anymore with Vina, is she?" Said Devina again

Ziko shook her head slowly then hugged Devina and leaned on her shoulder.

"Why lie to Daddy? Why didn't you say you were crying because of me?" Ask Ziko

"No, Daddy's gonna be mad at Ziko." Devina

"I'm not wrong, papa." Ziko

"Ziko is not wrong." Devina

"Sorry huh? Sorry for crying yesterday." Said Ziko slowly

"Papa Vina is not angry." Devina

"Daddy said that if this thing happened again he'd take you home." Ziko

"No, Ziko won't let things like this happen again, right? Ziko won't make Vina cry anymore, will she?" Devina

Ziko let go of her embrace then looked at Devina with a smile and nodded her head.

"Never will"

Devina smiled happily as she kissed Ziko's cheek and hugged her back.

"Vina tau Ziko won't make Vina sad anymore"

In silence Ziko simply smiled and further tightened her embrace, she would never make Devina cry again.

He didn't want Devina to be taken away from his side.
