Fixing

After getting a call from IGD. Nazia sat pensively in her chair. Why does such a situation bind him tightly to the past he has left behind ? While he has struggled to take it off.

"Why?" Zevin touched Nazia's shoulder.

"Today's my schedule. Doctor Lina practices in poly"

"Why do you look confused?" Zevin sat down at the table.

"There's a new patient in referral from IGD. She fainted this morning from the IGD doctor's examination she was pregnant . Her name is Sherin" Nazia explained.

"Is it possible to be a wife, Alby?"

"Yes, you're right. I should what?" Nazia looked at him in confusion.

"Take care of him ! Your position is a doctor. Put aside personal matters, I'll accompany you"

"Yes, okay. I'll be there." He hurried to prepare his briefcase to go to the midwifery room. With a confident step, he passed through every aisle of the hospital. Not far from his position in front of the midwifery room the Sherin family was waiting in the waiting chair.

"Nazia." Sapa Anggi's mother.

Nazia nodded giving a genuine smile and entered the room. Alby was flabbergasted to see the figure of the doctor who came. Between joy, longing and shame mixed into one. His tongue was just to say hello.

Sherin sees Nazia's arrival throw her face aside, her hatred getting stronger on Nazia. Even the mistake he had made was like being thrown at Nazia. Because of the lack of acceptance of Nazia and Alby's relationship, he did such reckless things. His opinion. He hates Nazia who has preceded him to have Alby's love.

"I don't want him to take care of me !" Sherin refutes first without looking at Nazia

"Don't fuck around Sherin !" Jerky Alby.

"Son, let him check on you first. He's an obstetrician." Saying Siska's Mother.

"I don't want to, Ma. He who precedes me gets, Al. If it wasn't for him it wouldn't have been possible for me to do all this !" Sherin looks hatefully at Nazia.

"Take your talk, Sherin !" Alby snaps again.

" Mr and Madam please pay attention to your attitude. It's a hospital. The gynecologist guard today is the doctor, Zi." Senior midwife spoke up.

"Are there no other doctors?" Ask Siska's mother.

"Doctor Lina practices in gynecology. Then Farida's doctor took a maternity leave. Doctor Hendra is out of town and today's doctor is Zi. Tomorrow, Doctor Lina will be on guard." Zevin came to explain.

Everyone was shocked by Zevin's arrival with the exception of Nazia, he had already seen if the man entered.

"The choice is in your hands, Sherin. If not ! Then please take care of the administration home and you remember our business is not finished" said Alby.

Sherin nodded in small approving sign. "Well, I want to be checked by him. But you accompanied me"

Alby didn't respond. His eyes were still fixed on Nazia who was acting indifferent. Siska's mother chose to wait outside for Nazia to begin the examination.

"I'm back in the room. The spirit of the doctor, Zi." Zevin smiled, rubbing the head of his girl.

Alby stared displeasedly at Zevin. There was an aura of hostility in his eyes, jealousy and envy mixed within him.

"Good morning Mrs Sherin ! What did you feel before?" Nazia started a series of examinations.

"I'm dizzy and lately I'm getting tired. Every morning nausea, sensitive to the aroma of cooking" explained Sherin briefly with a tone of unfriendly voice.

"Last your monthly guest?" Nazia continued the question.

"A—I forgot." Sherin said nervously.

"Alright, then we USG yes let know the development of the fetus. Because of the results of the previous doctor's examination you are pregnant. So we look again through the USG" Nazia explained. The nurse helps prepare the USG needs. While Alby was chin-backed, he stared fixedly at Nazia's face without making a sound. "Mrs Sherin. From here it looks from its size and weight. Your pregnancy is three months old yes, the fetus is also healthy "Of course Nazia. Sherin stared in fear at Alby. She did not focus on listening to Nazia's explanation about her pregnancy. Alby ignores Sherin's fears, but he focuses on the beautiful doctor. "Once again, congratulations to both of you, because the condition of the mistress is not good. So it's gotta be treated a few days here." Nazia smiled gently.

Sherin nodded obediently without making a sound, not even he or Alby responded too much to Nazia. The nurse is ready to move Sherin to the inpatient room.

Whether happy or sad, the two families sat silently in Sherin's room for quite a while. Alby and Jimmy had been sitting in a corner watching the faces of the people there.

"Papa thinks your relationship has been fine" cried Mr. Reza.

"I'm sorry, Pa. At first I was serious about this marriage. But after I found out that Sherin couldn't keep her honor well. I'm disappointed to be added to the problem that just came to light" Alby said.

"The marriage is only two months old and Sherin's gestation is three months old. Who's the baby's father?" Anggi's mother asked.

"Ask him when he wakes up, I'll be out for a while" Alby said, stepping out of the room.

Jimmy followed Alby out. There was a sense of pleasure there was also nothing he felt seeing the circumstances that made him sigh long. No less giving advice to his master all this time.

"Where are you going, sir?"

"To the cafeteria, let's get some coffee." Take Alby.

Jimmy replied with a nod. They passed the midwifery room, Alby stopped his steps for a moment and turned to the doorknob of the room. His hand moved to open it. But it quickly stopped again.

"What's up, mister?"

"Forget ! Come on" Alby stepped back.

"Yes." Yeah."

Alby and Jimmy cross paths with Zevin in the hospital hallway. Their eyes stared at each other meaningfully. Without greeting, they continued their respective steps. Zevin smiled faintly behind Alby as if laughing at the man's mess.

Alby and Jimmy each ordered a warm drink for the two of them. The day is near noon. But Alby needs a hot drink because the weather is a little cloudy.

"What's the next plan?" Ask Jimmy.

Alby saw a puff of smoke from inside his glass. "Want I sent Sherin to jail. But his condition is not possible." He said while taking a long breath.

"Then the baby in the womb?" Jimmy sipped his black coffee.

Alby smiled blandly. "I'll take care of the farewell letter"

"You sure your father and in-laws let that go?" Ask Jimmy doubtfully.

"I will not admit a child who is not my flesh and blood."

"I'm just in favor of your decision." Reply Jimmy.

The two of them went back to silence, enjoying a cup of black coffee. The cold weather is very hard on the skin. Alby accidentally doesn't come to the office because he wants to know who the father of the baby Sherin is carrying. The cafeteria was quite quiet as it had not yet entered lunchtime.

"Nazia's getting pretty, she's looking cool too"

Jimmy looked at Alby.

"You're right, he's fit to be a doctor. Quiet personality gives a sense of comfort if nearby." Chalked up to his young master's praise.

"After this incident I learned a lot. Material can be searched at any time but loyalty, honesty and kindness are hard to get. Zia is a great woman, independent. Now I just realized he's worth a lot." Alby. The look in his eyes was implied by the pain and disappointment in himself. Jimmy smiled faintly hearing Alby speak. Actually, he also admired the figure of Nazia. "I want to fix everything" said Alby sipping the rest of the coffee in his glass.

In his room Sherin was awake, he was eating the fruit that had been peeled siska mother into a plate. The atmosphere was a bit awkward between Anggi's mother and Siska's mother. Shame mixed with anger stifled the chests of the two mothers. A two-month-old marriage is at risk. The door opened from the outside, Alby and Jimmy standing in front of the door.

"He's up?" Alby stepped in.

"Where have you been, Al?" Sherin asked spoiled.

Alby put on a flat face and sat on the sofa. Jimmy says goodbye to Alby for going to the office. Before long, Mr. Reza and Mr. Toni entered the room.

There they gathered. Alby took advantage of this time to ask the baby's father in Sherin's womb.

"Who's the baby's father?" Alby's voice distracted everyone.

Sherin looked down scared. Initially wanting to take advantage of the situation to knock Alby out. It turned out that he was wrong the man had already installed a very high barrier.

"Tell Sherin who's your baby's father. I can guarantee it's not my son's baby because your marriage is only two months old. But, your content has been three months" Anggi's mother exclaimed at the end of the sofa.

"You think the doctor was wrong ! don't know your gestational age !" Jerking mother Anggi.

"If you doubt Nazia's doctor, I'll find another obstetrician. But if the result is the same. I'm gonna sue you for committing a crime on the Alby project." Just keep Erika coming in.

Sherin clenched her hands agitated. His eyes looked fearfully at Erika. Mr. Toni and Siska's mother can't say anything more. The daughter they were proud of had already tarnished the family's good name.

"Say who's the baby's father?" Alby.

Sherin. "Ha—hadi" she replied.

Mr. Toni rubbed his face roughly sitting on the sofa, his face red withstanding embarrassment and anger. Siska's mother sat closer to her husband trying to calm him down.

"When did you know that man, Sherin?" Lirih pak Toni's.

Sherin did not dare to answer only tears as a representative of her heart. His tongue was locked, Mother Siska approached her daughter and hugged her giving her a calmness.

The mood suddenly quiet. The situation is getting worse after all knowing the father of the baby Sherin.

Alby stood up and sat up and said. "I'm not gonna drag you to jail. But I'll take care of our farewell"

Sherin's head lifted looking towards the direction Alby was sitting. Look at his eyes. "Don't do that, Al. I love you." Sobbed.

"What's your relationship with Hadi?" Ask Erika.

"He's my ex-boyfriend we broke up a week before the wedding." Obviously Sherin's weak.

"It is fitting that he would expose your crimes, it turns out that he betrayed you. I understand now" Erika said.

"After you're healthy, go home to your parents. After Hadi is free to marry him. I'll take care of everything "Stop Alby.

Everyone is silent. Mr. Toni and Siska's mother just kept quiet, as did Mr. Reza. He felt guilty for his son for proposing the match.

Door opens. "Good day everyone" Sapa Nazia was friendly.

Alby reflexively stood up to see Nazia coming. Anggi and Erika's mother immediately approached the beautiful doctor.

"How are you doing ?" Erika smiled warmly.

"Very good, I just want to see Mrs Sherin's condition"

Erika's sad look. Nazia already thought of him as a stranger. So too with Anggi's mother.  Seeing Nazia enter Reza sir and Mr. Toni chose to go to the cafeteria. In his place Alby was fixated on seeing the attitude of his former lover. Sherin squeezes her blanket looking at Alby's gaze for Nazia. The hatred is growing.

"There's a complaint, ma'am? We'll check again." Tanya Nazia was friendly. He notices Sherin's health development records that his assistant brought. "Aaaahh." Her screams were loud

Unexpectedly Sherin grabbed the hair of Nazia who was tied one behind. Everyone was shocked by the incident.

"Take off, Sherin !" Alby tries to shake off Sherin's grip on Nazia's hair.

"I hate you, Nazia ! I hate you ! You should have just died !!" Sherin cussed and her hand grabbed the long hair

"Take him off, Sherin !" Alby tried to get Sherin's fingers off.

"MOM RELEASE DOCTOR, ZI" shouted Nazia's assistant.

"Take me off !" Repeated Nazia while grimacing in pain.

But that woman is very strong. Anggi's mother and Siska's mother try to calm Sherin down. But it didn't work. Nazia was getting more pain because her hair was pulled even her head was throbbing so much pain. Seeing this, his assistant ran to the doctor's office.

"Doctor, Zev ! Help the doctor, Zi. He was attacked by a patient !" The doctor's assistant was stunned by running. Zevin immediately ran towards the pregnant lady's ward.

"I won't let you go !!" Sherin still hasn't let go of Nazia's hair.

"Take off Sherin or I'll hurt you !" Alby grabbed Sherin's wrist

Sherin's face on Erika's face. Her hand reflexively removed Nazia's hair as it felt heat and pain on her cheek.

Nazia squatted on the floor while touching her head which was very painful. Her tears of pain melted smoothly on her cheeks. Alby crouched down to help Nazia stand up.

"I'm sorry baby, so late, don't be afraid I'm here" Zevin grabbed Nazia into his arms.

Alby stared in dislike at Zevin who suddenly came to directly hug Nazia. Sherin rubbed her sore cheek.

Zevin took off Nazia's messy hair tie because of Sherin. His hands gently massaged Nazia's head to reduce the pulsation in her scalp. Zevin buried Nazia's face in his chest. The man could feel Nazia's trembling body.

"Still sick?" Anggi's mother approached to wipe Nazia's head.

"Sorry Mistress don't touch, Zi" Zevin warned.

The handsome doctor's eyes were already flushed red withstanding his emotions the look on his eyes was also unfriendly.

"Hey, I just want to touch her. Why did you ban it !" Alby won't accept Zevin's refusal.

"I forbid anyone to touch mine without my permission" Zevin replied coldly.

"My mom just wants to help Nazia" Erika exclaimed in emotion.

Zevin didn't bully him. He still calmed Nazia while gently rubbing her hair.

After a bit of calm Nazia wanted to release herself from Zevin's embrace. However the man did not let go of her just like that, his hands were still tightly coiled around Nazia's body.

"Mrs Sherin ! I can sue you with a case of persecution. The choice is in your hands. Make peace and apologize or end up on the legal track" Zevin said firmly

Alby had been silent since then still staring fixed Nazia in the arms of Zevin. It was like pulling that pretty doctor's body in his arms.

"I'm sorry" said Sherin.

"I'm sorry correctly ! if you don't want to at this time I make sure you pay very expensive" threatened Zevin.

Nazia raised her face and looked closely at Zevin's eyeballs.  There's just a glow of seriousness there. That handsome face was red and flat.

"Zev, don't be so hard she's pregnant" Nazia said softly.

"Because she's a pregnant woman, I'm trying not to repay her actions to you. I gave him a good choice" Zevin's voice sounded cold.

Nazia could feel Zevin's breath go up and down because of emotions. His hands clenched behind Nazia. The eyes were red and sharp. Nazia understands why Zevin tightened his embrace, maybe so he wouldn't lose control of Sherin.

"Nazia forgive me." Sherin

Nazia loosened Zevin's embrace. Then move to hold his hand. These two doctors are mutually reinforcing and controlling.

"I don't know what your problem is. But how well you guys solve your own problems" Nazia said flatly.

"You as her husband. Educate him more morally" continued Zevin who was intended for Alby.

Alby's jaw hardened not with Zevin's words.

"I'll change the gynecologist for him. I'd recommend Dr Hendra tonight that he'll be home" Zevin said.

" What right do you have to change doctors?" Alby is upset by Zevin's decision.

Zevin smiled faintly without answering

"But Zev he's my patient" Nazia said.

"Darling, I don't want anything to happen to you. I'm not sure I can control myself anymore after he attacked you earlier" Zevin replied. The beautiful doctor nodded and pulled Zevin out of the room.

"Naziah..." Call Alby .

Nazia and Zevin stopped their steps. Without looking back.

Alby walked closer. "Give me a chance to fix everything"
