“Now I'm here.” Kai bared himself in front of the half-conscious Shadow. The girl unraveled the curls opened her eyes slightly, then widened.
“You're home?” startled Shadow spontaneously sat down while tidying up his messy mane. “What time is this?”
Kai's curved eyebrows look twitched once. “Almost 3 in the morning, Shaw. I made sure your friend, Conley, got treatment at the hospital I just got home.”
Shadow expanded his hand. Kai moved quickly to embrace his lover. “God, thank you for returning this mafia one whole to me.”
Kai chuckles. “There is indeed another mafia, Shaw?”
“Many. You have thousands of members and your incredible bodyguards.” Shadow snatch.
Kai's lips grinned sexy. Shadow is taking away. “You should visit Conley.” Kai said reminding.
“What's he going to be?” shadow's hand held the collar of Shadow's shirt, his gaze a little cloudy worrying about Conley's state.
“Not bad, Conley is very strong. Just need to rest, and I purposely took her to the hospital to have her monitored by the sisters. If it wasn't like that, Conley would have done something stupid. Like back to work.”
Shadow understood Kai, he nodded. “I'll bring her favorite food. Or maybe a good cake. Kai, does Conley have family in Berlin?”
Kai's face that did not imply being tired in the slightest then shook his head. “Snow no. Why are you asking like that, Shaw?”
Shadow let out a short breath. “You are all tough. Can be in one battle then injured without any family knowing and accompanying. Or do you not know pain? Don't you think of the people waiting for you, Mafia lord. If it wasn't mama who asked me to calm down, I couldn't sleep.” her cerocos is like a Japanese train.
Kai sneered at his lover. “You can finally sleep soundly.”
“Yes, it's because mama's calming. Hey, you haven't answered my question.” Shadow had fully awakened. Now he stood up and pulled Kai's hand. “You want to sleep or I want to make you a cup of coffee. My sleepiness is gone and I miss.”
“An attractive offer.” Kai tightened their fingers while walking towards the lower floor. “Before papa and mama wake up.”
“Why mom and dad are so relaxed, Mr. Mafia. I mean, they know if his son is on one mission and still stays calm, while I can't.” Shadow groaned softly.
“Custom yourself, Shaw. You know mom and dad act like that because they've been through it. They support each other, and what you do is beyond your grandfather's knowledge. This is just my guess.”
“Unfortunately I can't be as tough as mama. However, I know my position, a person who just joined Black Panther was nepotistically.” Shadow nodded, then Kai laughed out loud.
“Nepotism. Hmm, dating the leader of the Black Panther is a short walk away. Didn't you?” Kai still chuckles at his lover's words.
Shadow put his shoulders. “Maybe yes. But I like it even though I know you're the leader of a black organization. I don't expect to go this far into the mafia world, Mr. Navarro. But mama once said if I only need to accompany you, there is no need to hope to be as good as you.” he said weakened and not confident.
“Not yet, don't get discouraged, Shaw.” Refusing Kai comforted the girl who remained attractive even just woke up. “All need process, but quiet. I can't possibly put you in a dangerous position. But to be tough and great, you have to survive various battles. Like Conley, instead of him feeling pain. Of course Conley felt that way, and it was not the first time he had been injured in a position without any family accompanying him. Often, and that also makes us look immune to pain and longing. Kai laughed loudly, his voice filling the area of the mansion stairs belonging to Hugo, the papa. “Shadow, you're so funny. Don't say something if you can't hear it or see it. I admit that the image of the mafia in the movies is almost the same as real life but I don't want to live that life. My parents didn't teach that when they were leading Black Panther. “I'm sorry.” Shadow sighed, while Kai gave a smile.
“Nothing to forgive, Shaw. If I wanted to, I would have done that a long time ago. And maybe I can't develop a Black Panther this big. “No, Shaw. Nothing heavy is done when we sincerely live it. Let's slowly
discuss the plans related to Black Panther, and the plan of our domestic life after marriage. There is no other way but to face it, you will never escape my grasp, Miss Ophelia Shadow.” Tukas Kai with a serious tone and mimic.
Shadow widened his smile while stabbing at Kai's left rib. “Who wants to let go of a man like you, Mr Mafia? You're the perfect embodiment of a man I've been looking for all this time. I am yours.”

The afternoon after Shadow spoke to his parents in a phone call, he planned to reply to a work email while sitting in a second-floor living room.
“Busy?” soft ask pauses Shadow activity. He looked towards the middle-aged couple who were mutually
holding hands. At first glance a sense of admiration is present in the mind of Shadow to see the intimacy shown by her lover's parents.
Shadow smiled as he shook his head. “Not really, Pa.”
Hugo Chan and Kila then occupied the sofa beside Shadow's seat. “Please bring tea and cake for us.” Kila said to the servant who was standing waiting for the master's order.
“Good, Mrs Navarro.” said the waiter then rushed over.
Shadow placed his tablet on the table, and it was impolite to continue the work when Kai's parents sat down with him.
Kila glanced at the silver-colored clock on her wrist while assuring. “Still 90 minutes ahead, we will attend your papa friend's party. Silver wedding. We've passed that.”
“A short time.” Hugo turned his head and looked gently at his wife.
Shadow looked down while smiling. His parents in Los Angeles celebrated their silver wedding. A small party that was only attended by the nuclear families of the two families. Kai had not been present in his life when the celebration was held at a fancy Hollywood restaurant. Shadow's point of view at the time was still skeptical about a romantic relationship even a marriage that lasted up to 25 years. He does not trust men, does not give a gap to his heart moved by the opposite sex. He is overshadowed by Richard and Alexandre, both men who have never been complacent with one woman. Shadow hates him, not because
look, they are not bad because the kindnesses of the men who have been present are very sincere. Richard is his best friend while Alexandre is a colleague in the film world. Shadow just does not like the principle of the two men in a romantic relationship. That made Shadow choose to concern himself with work.
Until Kai arrives, it breaks everything. The shell of his caution, the thick, haughty walls of Shadow were knocked down very quickly by a Kai Navarro. The alibi of Shadow's friendship was willing, and slowly a sense of liking, longing to be present in his heart. The fruit of Kai's struggle to get the perfect result, it did not take long they were engaged.
“25 years old.” murmured Shadow looked at Hugo and Kila in turn.
“True. You could say 25 years is a long time, because that's the length of your life, dear Shaw. But when you share it with someone, your life and your time. Everything went very fast. We saw Isla, Sky and Kai grow up and now they all have a partner.” Sahut Kila who continues to hold her husband's fingers.
Shadow speechless. The image of Kila's words filled his head, it was not easy to imagine his children later, when what Shadow imagined was Kai remained centered on Black Panther affairs. “How
Shadow lives life with Kai someday?” the chirping sounded more of a faint complaint.
Shadow's words made the middle-aged couple take a look then both of them chuckled. “Didn't mom have said that Shadow only needed to accompany Kai. That's all, honey. Things a year, two years to 25 years we all leave to the Power. Every day God gives is a blessing. Don't burden yourself with Kai's safety, son. Mama knows that you're so worried about our bad boy. Kai had many people protecting him, and he was not weak. You will definitely be in a position like us. Age together and accompany each other until the end.”
“Im sorry Shadow, Ma.”
Kila gave a smile. “It's hard to have a couple struggling in the mafia world, honey. Oh well, do you want to see our wedding photos?” the bargain that made Shadow's mimic turn carefree. Seeing Shadow's response, Kila did not need to ask twice then walked towards the ivory-white cabinet with gold engraving.
“Shadow.” Call Hugo Chan gently.
Shadow looked at the long white-robed man whose appearance was not wearing all-white clothes but rather with a pair of dark-gray suits. “Ya, Pa.” answer.
“Trust and remain calm. Papa's attitude when your mama leads the Black Panther. Shadow can see what your mama looks like, right? And Shadow can guess what papa looks like when you're with your mama. Just by jumping in with him, makes my heart calm. Neither Kila nor Kai, Black Panther's blood would ever be separated from themselves. We are both the ones chosen to accompany them, my son. But papa advises Shadow to listen to all of Kai's wishes. No need to force yourself to accompany Kai in a hard job. And later your mama will talk to Kai to reduce his activities.”
Hugo's gentle speech made Shadow teary. That was what he had wanted to hear all this time. The heavy burden on his heart lifted that instant too. “Thank you, Pa.”
Hugo smiled faintly and then nodded. “There will soon be a large meeting attended by the Black Panther officials, later we discussed many things. Including Kai's role as leader. You think it's time for Kai to enjoy a quiet life with you, son. Yes, maybe occasionally Kai will plunge into the field, but not as often as yesterday.” The addition made Shadow shed happy tears.
Embarrassed at Hugo's gaze with a shady look, Shadow hurriedly wiped away the tears even though his manic left a reddish tinge there. “This news is so happy, Pa. But this does not mean Kai will sit sweetly then just give the command with a flick of the hand and accompanied by sexy women.” His chirps were accompanied by a light laugh by Hugo Chan.
“It won't happen that way, honey. Mama knows Kai well, he's not that kind of kid. Although before meeting you she had many women.” straightforward Kila while expanding her wedding photo album.
“Mama!” yelled Kai who walked hastily with a pouting face. “Please, don't bring up Kai's past
to Shadow.”
Shadow chuckled at the tall, casually dressed figure with slightly wet and disheveled hair. “I'm not jealous.” His leg while thawing.
Kai felt his chest while sighing in relief. “What happened in the past is just a dark part of my life.”
Kila grieved at her son's poetic words. Kai now sits side by side with Shadow, not forgetting to embrace the lover's shoulder.
“But the past made us this strong, Kai Navarro. Hey, Hugo Chan. Look, you were so handsome when we got married. Your face looks so young and your smile. Ahh!” pekik Kila pressed Hugo's picture. He rubbed his black bead.
“Papa also still remains handsome until now.” Imbuh Kai smashed his lips at his mother.
Shadow laughed with a small quarrel between Kai and Kila. A very close relationship between the child and the mother. The two men act like friends and arch-enemies who love each other. Maybe that is also what makes Kai fall in love with him, because throughout Shadow's memory, he was with Kai at the beginning of their introduction on the island of Bali.
“Don't say much, son. Tough men will generally be melancholic when married. Like your papa who cried when he married mama.”
Hugo laughed sweetly while looking at his wife. “If you can, I want to repeat it, Kei.”
