76. Aran's proposal

After arriving at his home, Lorano was immediately laid on the bed. The man looked helpless while holding his shortness of breath.

"Sir, what should I do?" Asked Lorano's assistant who was feeling extremely anxious.

"Leave me alone and take care of the company." Lorano replied with his wheezing breath while enduring the pain.

"But sir" the assistant was about to protest but Lorano stopped him with a hand gesture and was seen trying to gather his strength to speak.

"Don't tell anyone about this." Lorano.

"Well I will obey, but you must be willing to be given antidote to poison." Again said Lorano's assistant who did not want to risk the safety of his master.

"The medicine won't work on me. My body has been the object of research for many years, and no poison can penetrate my body. But it looks like the poison has been modified with that mixture of ingredients." Lorano said while enduring the pain.

"That stuff? What do you mean sir?" Back assistant Lorano asked as her master was full of puzzles.

"Go, the company needs you." Lorano's last words before the man closed his eyes signaled to his assistant that he would not be disturbed.

Assistant Lorano directly walked out of his Master's room and closed the door tightly.

He went back and forth at the door thinking about the right decision he should make.

Not long after the phone rings.

"What's wrong?" Ask your coworkers who are handling the company.

"The client requested the cancellation of the contract cooperation and asked us to pay a fine. Not just one or two, almost all clients do." Said the man from across the phone.

"Are you stupid? Solve everything as stated in the contract if they are the first to cancel their cooperation then they will pay the fine!" Lorano's assistant replied in annoyance before hanging up the phone.

"No, I can't comply with your wishes. I'm not as strong as Master to control everything anymore said the assistant then he immediately called Aran.

The call rang a few times, but there was no sign of anyone on the other side picking up the phone, because Aran was talking to a girl.

"Your phone rings, pick it up first." Topia.

Aran sighed then he grabbed his phone and saw the name of the caller was Lorano's assistant.

"This call doesn't matter." Aran says he turns off the call and refocuses on the girl in front of him.

"Mr Saga didn't know that I pulled you back from that far away place. I need your help, but before that I want to ask you one thing."

Topia immediately sighed and she replied "I've been blinded by Mr. Saga's dislike for harming his wife. I don't deserve to be here anymore, but if you need my help I'll do all I can and go back to my place of exile."

"Well! Mr. Saga told me to get married within 10 days." Aran said making Topia so surprised.

"Don't tell me you meant to marry me?" Topia asked while shrinking unwilling to get her answer.

"What harm? We just get married and then you're free to go anywhere. Just the marriage certificate we need." Aran's words made the girl in front of him speechless then stared out the window thinking of Aran's words.

After a while, he sighed again and said "What would happen if you didn't get married in 10 days?" Ask.

"I'll suffer my whole life." Reply Aran thought of his suffering, will always be depressed by Saga.
