45. The Assault on Dave

This morning's walk made Dave happy, he walked casually even though he had to be alert there would be a sudden enemy attack Fernandez Hugo. He walked as his eyes looked around, some people looked ordinary. So Dave is still calm and alert to be improved.

He's looking for a safe place to contact Mateo, if he's back in Italy. Dave grabbed his phone and immediately contacted Mateo, staring around whether anyone else was following him or watching him.

Fernandez's entourage, too, looks relaxed. Five men and Lee as his bodyguard. Dave looked up Mateo's name in his phone contact, after meeting him and immediately contacted Mateo.

The phone connection came in, shortly directly connected.

"Hello, mister Dave?"

"Mateo, where are you?" ask Dave with pleasure.

"Why do you ask like that? You okay?" ask Mateo.

"I've been in Italy, Mateo" said Dave happily.

"Well, are you in Italy? Are you all right? Who are you going to Italy with?" ask Mateo again.

"Of course with Mr Fernandez Hugo, he has to finish his business in Italy. One of his subsidiaries was being shaken, so had to come to Italy. I just found out that Hugo already has a family, we're outside exercising" Dave said.

"Have you told Mr Hugo?" ask Mateo.

"Not Mateo, I think it's too early. I'm afraid he thinks I'm making it up. Talking to my friends alone, it feels like I have not dared to do it. Mateo?"

"Why Mr Dave?"

"I want to meet you. Can we meet 'em, Mateo?" ask Dave.

Wishing Mateo could meet her, he also wanted to meet Luca. However, he was confused as to how to tell Fernandez Hugo that he wanted to meet someone.

Dave clenched his hand again, he was really angry. Everything related to his family turned out to have been sniffed and destroyed everything. Dave was silent, he closed his eyes.

Lee, from afar seemed to notice what Dave was doing. There's anger in Dave's face. He then approached Dave, after he told the other guards to look after Fernandez Hugo.

Lee approaches Dave, he wants to know why Dave is like that. He also saw Dave was contacting someone. Dave turned his head and looked surprised to see Lee approaching him. He quickly took a breath and ended his phone call.

"Mateo, I'll hang up. There's a friend of mine coming." said Dave.

"Yes, Mr. Dave."

Dave hung up the phone, put his phone in his pocket to make sure Lee was sitting next to him. Lee patted Dave on the shoulder and asked him.

"Who are you calling?" ask Lee.

"My uncle, he told me that he can't see me right now" Dave said with a sad face.

He is sad because Fabio is also a target for Javier as well. Dave looked at Lee who was so anxious to see him earlier, and then Dave smiled at Lee.

"You looked angry earlier, Dave. I looked far away" Lee said.

Making Lee even more strange, he looked at Dave who was staring far away. There was also sadness and anger on Dave's face. Lee wanted to ask again, but a bullet quickly shot towards Dave.

Lee pulls Dave's body aside to dodge. And the bullet was misplaced into a tree. Lee and Dave looked at each other, and turned to the person from where the bullet came from.

The eyes of the two went around sharply, figuring out who the man who had fired the bullet at Dave was. Amazingly, there were no gunshots fired, so it was hard to figure out who fired at Dave.

"Dave, who is he?" ask Lee.

"I don't know, the bullet was very fast. Good thing you pushed me, but I didn't get to see where the bullet came from" Dave said.

"Given the direction of the bullet, it's likely from in front of you Dave. Let's go find him" Lee said.

"Sir Hugo how?"

"Then you take care of Mr. Hugo. Let me find the man who shot you earlier" Lee said.

"I guess you're the one guarding Mr. Hugo, I'm the one looking. Because if he comes after me, I'm afraid that Mr. Hugo will be targeted as well" Dave said, Lee seemed to think.

"All right, you're looking that way Dave. I caught a glimpse of the bullet from there" Lee said pointing forward.

"All right, let's split up."

"I'll be wary of Dave too, if you need my help. Shout." said Lee, Dave nodded.

Then the two split up, looking for who did it. Dave continued to walk forward, his eyes were alert and his hands were also holding a firearm behind his suit. Dave walked quietly, continuing to wander the streets for a jog.

Until somewhere a little quiet, deliberately Dave stepped away from the usual place. Because he knows, he's the one who's trying to die. Each step was full of vigilance, his eyes were sharp staring at the corner of the street.

When he stepped on an object, suddenly from behind Dave was attacked quickly. His back was kicked until Dave fell forward. There was no sound at all that he heard, but it was quickly and suddenly attacked.

Dave was kicked twice, and fell. Dave immediately woke up, he saw someone back attacking him. Wearing a hat to close his eyes, Dave fought back. He hit and kicked several times at his opponent, but that person was very tough.

"Strash!"

The man falls when Dave attacks using kung fu, wing chun. Close range attack. Apparently, the guy who attacked Dave earlier couldn't kung fu. Dave stopped, staring at the man who looked invisible to his eyes.

Dave was curious, he advanced forward slowly by alerting his weapon. But the man stood up and immediately ran and took his gun and pointed at Dave.

Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!

Three times he fires at Dave, then immediately runs. Dave also returned fire until he hit his leg, deliberately he shot his leg so as not to run far. Dave approached while pointing his gun, getting closer to the guy.

From the other direction, someone shot Dave and hit Dave's arm. Dave turned his head and snindarled, returning the shot. But apparently there was no reply. Dave stopped, he turned to the man, but he was gone.

"Damn! He's running away."
