Chami felt lied to, already a week ago when he asked to return to Indonesia but Arnold was just talking. All day Chami did not reprimand Arnold, he even covered all day in a blanket while playing mobile phone. Seeing Arnold's face fed him up, even when Arnold tried to persuade him he immediately covered the blanket tightly.
Arnold from the morning dizzy himself, he regretted saying if they would return to Indonesia. Since saying that, Chami has always charged for what he said that. His wife didn't even leave the room all day, Arnold's parents wondered why Chami didn't leave the room. Arnold only replies that Chami was exhausted from their battle last night, but touched Chami's skin a little not from last night.
Arnold brought food for Chami, he cooked chicken soup for his beloved wife. Arnold placed a tray containing chicken soup and a glass of water on the table, after which he approached the sheathed Chami under a blanket.
"Darling, eat first yuk! Your husband has made you some good chicken soup, let's get up!" Said Arnold who was already sitting on the edge of the bed.
Chami who heard that did not pay attention to her husband, he was busy with his own phone. Arnold sighed, he pulled the blanket down to open, but instead held Chami down.
"You don't eat all day you get sick, baby." Arnold said it was a fear if his wife was really sick.
"Don't bother me, I'm busy!" Chami answered with a sniffle.
"Kok say that anyway? it's not nice to talk like that, husband, don't want to be a bad wife!" Arnold said quietly, Chami who heard that immediately opened the blanket and sat down in front of Arnold.
Chami looked at Arnold dislikefully, "why am I talking like that? don't you like me anymore?" Chami was upset, he wanted to be persuaded with affection but instead was said like that.
"Not so, try deh you do not think cramming continues. You haven't eaten all day, what if you're sick?" Arnold made it clear to Chami to understand.
"I don't eat and it hurts, my body is all cold. I can't be cold, you don't understand me. What a hard thing we have to go to Indonesia, it is also my birthplace, even though I don't remember anything!" Chami did not want to lose, he was restless because he continued to wear thick clothes to make his head dizzy.
"Why should Indonesia? we can go to other countries, Malaysia, Singapore, or Thailand. There are many countries in this world, why did you choose there?!" Arnold spoke quickly and loudly.
"Because that's the country where I was born! what's there until you don't want to go there anymore? If I were there better, I could remember who I was and where my parents were. You shut everything out of me, like I'm a wasted child." Reply Chami is not less loud.
"You're a wasted child, you're not going there anymore. Whatever it is you won't be there again, you'll be here forever!" Arnold stood up he did not want to continue the conversation, but his hand was held by Chami to keep him from leaving.
"If I'm a wasted child, please tell me everything about me. I want to remember, I want to know who I really am!" Chami pleaded.
Arnold looked at Chami with a disordered breath, "you are my wife, don't ask me anything more. You don't deserve to be there!" Arnold wants to let go but Chami keeps holding him back.
"Didn't you just hear what I said, you'll be here forever!" Arnold let go of his hand, he wanted to step out but his steps came to a halt.
"I'm going there with or without you, as long as you know my head hurts from not remembering anything. Please lend me the money, I'll go alone and I'll remember everything." Chami went up and stood behind Arnold.
"No! you won't be there anymore. No one will lend you money, not even my parents!" Arnold answered firmly.
"All right, I'll sell ha..."
THE PLAQUE!
Chami was shocked that Arnold slapped her cheek, she did not expect that her husband would slap and it made her heart very sad. He shed his tears because he could not bear the heartache, the hand that used to gently stroke his cheek now that made his heart hurt.
Arnold held his hand, regretting that he had put his hand so easily on his wife's cheek.
"All right, go out! I'll eat the soup." Chami said quietly without seeing Arnold, Chami walked to the table where the chicken soup was placed Arnold. He picked up the tray, and sat down on the sofa. Chami turned her back on Arnold, she ate forcefully. The delicious chicken soup tasted salty in his mouth, but he ate it forcefully to look ravenous.
Arnold wanted to apologise, but he broke it off and opted out of the room. After Arnold came out, Chami cried loudly, her heart was very sick. He wanted to say sell a cell phone, but what he received was a slap.
"What does treasure mean to you? are you afraid to spend money for me to return to Indonesia?" Chami cries alone, she doesn't know who to complain to. The husband she thought loved her hurt her heart.
Arnold got out of the house he drove his car fast, he was not out of thought with his wife who he thought would sell self-esteem. His hand could not be controlled anymore he immediately raised his hand to Chami's cheek, seeing Chami had made his heart hurt because it had made his wife disappointed, but he felt even more disappointed because he thought that Chami was going to sell herself.
Arnold drove his car through a fairly quiet city road, he pulled over his car and got out because he felt claustrophobic in the car. He leaned against the car door and raised his head to the ceiling of a starless night, before long he felt something cold touch his cheek.
"Salju" Arnold said with a smile, he had not felt the cold snow for many years because he had lived in Indonesia. Touching the snow reminded him of his childhood, Arnold laughed to himself as the snow fell more and more and touched the skin of his face. His heart felt calm even he was very happy at the moment, Arnold quickly forgot about the problem because he was too happy.
"Looks like he's just pretending to love me, I'm sure he just wants to help me. Is my name really Chami? God, why don't I remember anything." Chami stood on the balcony of the room, she felt the cold snow touch her skin. She wanted to go in because of the cold, but being stopped because of the cold was better than getting painful treatment from her husband.
