LURED STRANGE GIRL

LURED STRANGE GIRL
Desire to be sold

The flashback

Twelve years ago CC Company went into a remarkable bankruptcy, Gani was so dizzy that he was lulled by the words of his friends that made him change.

Rendra is one of Gani's friends and Zira's former high school sweetheart, Rendra still likes Zira even though they are both married.

That afternoon Rendra comes to Gani's house which is pawned by the bank to discuss Gani's bankrupt company and Gani welcomes him warmly, Gani tells Zira to make drinks for Rendra because their maid was fired because Gani was afraid of not being able to pay.

Chami and 7-year-old Chasi are playing in the yard, they know nothing about Gani's bankruptcy and his parents' problems. Gani appears to talk seriously with Rendra until heard by Chami's ear.

"Chami please take in the white water I'm thirsty!" Chasi is a messenger from childhood in contrast to Chami who is a defeatist, Chami running around small to take water for Chasi immediately stopped when he heard the talk of Gani and Rendra.

"Having twins is unlucky, and one of them is the unlucky carrier. I once had a neighbor who had twins and their family fell apart, you better sell one of your kids." Gani was shocked to hear what Rendra said he immediately shook his head quickly refusing to approve what Rendra said.

"Let's think that as long as you have twins, you're not going forward and even slumping away." Gani nods her mind as she recalls when she married Zira her company advanced and when Zira gave birth to twins her business slowly sank.

"If selling one of them won't drive you crazy, you can make it again, right?" Rendra grinned when Gani began to enter his trap to destroy the family, Rendra was jealous because he saw Zira happily living with Gani and was gifted with twins when it was their dream when they were dating first.

Gani's faith is weakened due to the loss of treasure, Zira who brought two cups of tea for Gani and Rendra immediately looked at the two men strangely.

"But why does it seem so restless?" Zira asked after putting tea on the table and immediately sat down beside Gani, Rendra who saw it was hotter for him.

"Looks like we should sell Chami mi!" Zira was very surprised to hear what her husband said, Gani remembered the fortune teller about Chami who brought bad luck in the family later. Gani actually does not believe in the fortune teller because he thinks only a self-styled fortune teller when the fortune teller is a fake.

"What do you mean? why sell kids?"

"He's the unlucky bearer in our family, and we have to sell him!"

"No Pi, he's a mother's son and will never be sold!"

"What's that?" Ask Gani and Zira in unison.

"Treat Chami differently than her twin." Rendra was like getting a sack of money from the sky when he saw Gani nod in agreement.

Chami was silent behind the front door of the house, he was still a child but he understood the meaning of the adult's conversation. Chami runs away from there and does not so take drinking water for Chasi, Chami chooses to be alone behind the acacia tree beside her house. Chasi was busy playing in the yard until he did not realize that Chami had passed him and was sitting behind a tree.

Chami knew about selling children because he had seen news about parents losing children and then sold, he was really afraid if it was really sold. Chami was alone for a long time until she was afraid to meet Gani, she was really afraid of selling.

After hearing the adhan magrib Chami back home he was afraid if he had to be sold but he ventured to go home, then Chami entered the house suddenly Gani directly hit his feet with rattan.

"You just got home? where have you been?" Chami cries when Gani hits his little calf with rattan, Chami is never beaten even in a pinch. But after Rendra came home with a victory he also got misfortune.

"Although Pi. torment mercy."

Since then everything changed, Chami continues to be beaten if he makes a small mistake and is far different from Chasi who is treated with affection.

Flashback off

Chami rubs his calf slowly where he feels pain when hit by his own father, the pain is not in the calf anymore but in the heart. Chami looked at herself behind the glass of her bedroom closet, she looked carefully at her face and looked into her own eyes behind the glass.

"Am I really the unlucky carrier?" Chami felt his face, every curve on his face and ended up on the cheek where Gani's hand once landed hard there.

"Whatever you do I still love you."
